I again visited Japanese Auto Repair this week, and their customer service is top notch. I believe I met and spoke with Nick. My Toyota Camry (Red Baron, I call her) is a 2010, yet she's treated, like she should, as if she's a 2024. They made sure my car was taken care of and knowing the year of the car, they still made sure she ran smoothly, suggested some repairs but was very understanding on the priority to put into place to make sure I was still able to get around. Thanks JAR staff for your expertise and professionalism.

Great experience. We had a lot of work done on the car, and the communication was excellent. I always knew what was going on, or if anything needed to be changed/added. Will definitely return for service.

Hands down the best shop for all your car needs. Ive been taking my 4Runner there for almost 2 years now, driving from SC. And yes, I will continue to bring it there every time. They are honest and trustworthy, and I know not only I, but my 4Runner are in good hands. The guys there always know exactly what is wrong and able to fix the problem in a timely matter. 110% recommend for all maintenance & repair jobs.

I have been going here for a few years and I've had an amazing experience every time. They communicate every step of the way and answer all my questions. Very fair pricing. As someone who dreads getting my car serviced, I can say they make it as painless as possible. Especially Patrick, he is the best!

I ve been very happy so far with their customer service and service of my vehicle. Although pricing has increased post COVID-19, I ve found their pricing to be fair with today s market value. I recommend JAR for quality care of your vehicle.

Update:I am appreciated Shad, OM of the shop. He is really very good at customer relations. After knew my issue, he contacted me and did his best to support me. My car had been taken back to the shop and finished needed services. Everything is good now. I will try services for my RX here also and can rate to 5stars if the shop could keep up excellence services as Shad's commitment.My LS is good now but still need time to experiment.Thank you Shad and your team,------------I gave them 1 star for the courtesy only, but the job is very disappointed. I came here because they sent leaflets to my house saying that they are expert in Japan cars. When I bring my Lexus there for maintenance and check, they quoted me replacing for front strut about $1800. Ok, signed the quote. The next day (because they need to order parts) I came to drop my car for replacing, until I got back to my office, they called and excused to someone at Lexus quoted they wrong, the price should be ~$4200. I could agree or I could take my car back. Very very disappointed

I love the service and super-fast oil changes 30 minutes. They also gave me a five-point inspection. The were very courteous and friendly. I will definitely use again. They are my new go to auto service place now. You must go to them for your car service needs. This was my first time using Japanese Auto Repair, a shop that has been HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by a close friend of mine for a long time. I live over an hour away (longer with traffic), so I'd hesitated to use Japanese Auto Repair in the past for minor issues with my 2009 Acura TL (never had any major issues with it). At any rate, one day my car started having multiple problems with numerous indicator lights coming on. The car wouldn't get power especially in reverse, the steering wheel was vibrating and difficult to turn, the battery died, and the lights on the dashboard were going crazy. I had my car towed to another shop, and they kept my car for 4 days (without running the diagnostics - they even had trouble opening the hood). Anyway, they were clearly in over their heads and stated that they had never seen anything like that - it could be the alternator, transmission, power steering, etc. After 4 days, they informed me that I need a battery before they could run the diagnostics, and then wanted to charge me over $400 just for the battery and installation! My friend called Japanese Auto Repair, and we talked to Patrick about the problem with my car. Right away, he demonstrated expertise, experience, compassion, and professionalism. AAA took over 7 hours to transport car from the other repair shop to Japanese Auto Repair, with us arriving only 1-2 minutes prior to closing time. Patrick was kind enough to remain in the shop long enough for us to complete the intake paperwork, and hung around (even though I assured him that I would be okay) until my friend could pick me up from the repair shop. Then, Patrick and Tom worked together to get the battery in, diagnostics completed, and share information with me... all within 24 hours. I couldn't be any happier, more relieved, and satisfied with my experience with Japanese Auto Repair!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone... DEFINITELY worth driving the extra miles to get there!Service: Battery

Email'd with an inquiry and Patrick was able to provide me with the neccessary information quick and effectively.Dropped off my car in the morning and asked to be contacted via email (WFH so I'm on my computer anyways) and JAR followed up through email.Highly recommend JAR if you're in need of a full service mechanic shop.

Their service is above and beyond the normal auto maintenance and repair shop. My son was in town for the weekend and needed major maintenance and repair on his car. Japanese Auto Repair was able to fit us in at the last moment. They had much to do on the car. It was a Saturday and they close at 4:00. Because they knew my son was leaving town the next day (Sunday) the manager and crew stayed late (after hours) to get the job done. That dedication to the customer is quite rare in my experience!

My service at Japanese Auto Repair was timely, pleasant and efficient. The service techs do such a great job of evaluating the condition of your vehicle and highlighting the appropriate repair costs and necessary timing of those repairs.

I have used PAR for years with several different vehicles and regardless of make or model, they have been excellent!I live in the North Georgia Mountains and still drive to Suwanee for my vehicle maintenance and repairs!!

I've been taking my 2015 Mazda CX-9 in to Japanese Auto Repair for the last 6 year and have always had a good experience! They always do an inspection of my vehicle to make sure everything is in good condition, and inform me of when I should expect any upcoming maintenance. They care for my car so that I can feel safe driving myself to and from work, and when driving my family out on road trips. Thanks to Patrick and the maintenance team for always being there to fix me up!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I have used Japanese auto for several years now. They have performed work on several vehicles (silverado, Toyota 4runner, nissan frontier, hyundai santa fe, and a Hyundai Sorento), I had some of this work quoted by a few different shops. JAR was always competitive in pricing. Work is done well and timely. I have been very pleased with their work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a shop they can trust.

I visited JAR on Saturday with a problem with my O2 sensor. On a GX 470. Lexus quoted over $500. JAR did the work for half that. Josh my service manager, was professional and took the time to ensure I clearly understood the work to be performed. He took the time to explain everything and was able to get me in and out In under 1 hour. That s awesome! The place is immaculate. It s like a little Lexus service without the loaner cars. They offer fee snacks, sodas, water, coffee and tea. The waiting room is comfortable and the bathrooms are super clean. Kudos to the team and Buford MOG location. Even the tech came to. Heck to see if I had questions. Stop going to Lexus and go to JAR. They use Lexus parts it aftermarket unless you request it. They do an excellent job and they have Lexus, Toyota and Honda. Certified techs. Why go anywhere else. I am returning on Thursday to have them install a battery in my Camry. This is my new go to place. I m going to tel everyone about JAR.Service: Auto maintenance

I came to JAR to give them some feedback regarding some work they had previously done on my vehicle. After taking their precautions to diagnose the issue correctly, they redid the repair with no questions asked. They were also very flexible in regards to scheduling me in. I was happy that the took the feedback in and took corrective actions immediately. During the repair, I unfortunately ran into a miscommunication issue with their advisor, but the service director resolved the issue in a timely manner. I appreciate everything they did for me because any other shop could have turned me away or blamed the issue on something else. I am very happy to see a shop that stands by their work in the area. If you're looking for a transparent and accountable mechanic shop in the area, this is the one!

The Japanese Auto Repair Team are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable in all things dealing with cars. They were able to change my oil and fix a few other issues with my car. I figured that what I needed done was going to cost me a pretty penny but not at Japanese Auto Repair!! They are very reasonably priced for the the high quality of work they do! This will be the ONLY place that I will be bringing my car to for any maintenance or repairs! Best Auto Repair shop in Gwinnett County!! Just moved to North side ATL from South of airport. I was in need of a shop who's Master Mechanics specialize and are familiar with working on Japanese/foreign vehicles. Passion for their work and care for their clients is what I personally experienced. In my opinion those traits alone separate this business from others like it in the area. Good, hard working citizens who do honest work and hire Master Mechanics who share the same passion, will always make for a successful company.

I have used JAR to service my Honda Accord a few times and the people are very friendly and professional. They were able to work me into the schedule and completed my oil change and other minor repairs in a timely manner.

Patrick and the crew at JAR are always friendly, knowledgeable and great with communication throughout the process. I have had multiple repairs performed on various cars here over the last 5+ years and have never had an issue. I have always been satisfied with the results.

It was easy booking my appointment at JAR, and they had next-day availability, which was a big plus. I appreciated when dropping off my '07 Pilot that I was able to speak with knowledgeable service advisors rather than a receptionist, which made it easier to discuss concerns and request specific service on my older vehicle. Patrick and the other gentleman in the office were very friendly. Service was quick and Patrick was very informative and helpful on the phone in walking through the diagnostics with me. Pricing was reasonable for the maintenance performed, maybe slightly on the higher end, but definitely cheaper than the dealership. I've been swindled by dealerships and independent mechanics in the past, but JAR feels both competent and trustworthy, and I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future.Services: Transmission, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Vehicle maintenance
