went to two loves truckstops one started a problem. The second one wouldn t help with the problem call Dave!Dave was out in a few hours went straight to the problem. Had it fixed in 20 minutes he definitely knows his stuff and I definitely would go back to him if I had to have my truck worked on again keep up the good work Dave if you re definitely in the Tipton area and you need help call Dave he ll definitely help you out . Thanks agian

This past Thursday, Feb 29th, 2024, we found ourselves driving our diesel pusher in essentially limp mode through southern Georgia on our way to Palmetto, Florida. We knew there was a problem, but we pushed through and stopped at Carrol Sausage in Ashburn, GA, This was our third stop on our trip from Ohio, but was a harrowing trip having to stop on the highway berm on several inclines to restart the coach and clear amber check engine codes.We called David's Diesel the next morning, Friday, March 1st, 2024, at 730 am. He responded quickly, well within 1 hour as promised. He diagnosed the problem as a broken spring metal clamp on the turbo charger assembly. (not on the inlet or outlet, but actually a part of the turbocharger). He took a picture of the damaged part and shared it with me. This was certainly not good news. It appeared that a total rebuild of the turbo would be required. Upon further inspection, David removed the broken spring clamp and tried, unsuccessfully, to get the spring clamp repaired at a local machine shop and reassemble the turbo to get us back in the road as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the spring clamp broke again on reinstalllation. We appreciated his above and beyond attempt to repair the turbo on site to potentially avoid the rebuild.He then removed the damaged part and took it to a local diesel repair shop that specializes in turbocharger and fuel injector repairs. He requested a full rebuild on our behalf.Since they were closed over the weekend, we were prepared to wait several days into the following week to receive the repaired part.. Since my wife's birthday was Tuesday, March 5th, we were disappointed at the prospect of possibly not reaching our destination on time to celebrate with friends. However, on Monday, March 4th, we were greeted by David around noon to let us know that the turbocharger had already been rebuilt and reprogrammed that morning. Although it was a very expensive rebuild, we were assured that it would be in like new condition based on David's past experience with the shop.We pre-paid the bill, and David returned within an hour to reinstall the turbocharger, which appeared to be in like new condition. The turbo performed great on our trip onward to Palmetto, Florida, our final destination. No check engine codes were experienced on the trip.David pointed out some weak areas on the turbo outlet pipe to me and recommended we get it replaced when we returned home to Dayton.I would highly recommend David's Diesel. He certainly went well above and beyond for us. He is personable, very professional, and performed excellent diagnostics and repair work on our coach.

We spend two days on shoulder and lose time with some junk mechanics before David come. He find problem and fix truck for normal rate per hour. One of the best mechanics you can find on road in USA. Best recommendation for this service.Service: Auto brake replacementService: Auto brake replacement
