My neighbor recommended T&G Automotive to me, and he's a car dude. My experiences with them have been great, I'm a repeat customer, from major repair to regular maintenance. Our current project is to keep my 2003 Toyota Tundra running to 450,000 miles. I'm sure they can help you, too!

I was sent here by Discount Tire down the street for something they couldn't do, but said they contracted with T&G. Jason was so nice, and got me in/out as fast as possible. I really appreciate him fitting me in and showing superior customer service which this world seems to be lacking lately. I would recommend this business to others and ask for Jason.Service: Tires

Ladies, Be Still My Heart as I'm Very Protective of It... My Son referred T&G to me a couple of years ago - I'm so appreciative of their reputable service. I trust them and their superb genuine care and concern. They are not a price gouging Automotive Service and have given me honest, personable service. This means a lot to me as a female that has been taken advantage of in the past... I am a loyal customer and grateful!!

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new mechanic for an oil change and spark plug replacement. After reading reviews and researching the company, I decided on T & G Automotive. I made the right choice. They were kind, courteous, and did not repeatedly call me with more issues they "discovered" while my Honda was in their care (That was a first with auto repair). The quote given at drop off was the price I paid. Upon pick up, they did point out a repair that I might want to have done in the future, but assured me that it was just an annoyance and would not affect my car's performance, so I could wait. Such honesty is quite refreshing. I am happy to have found a new car mechanic that I can and will continue to use and highly recommend to others. Thanks, T&G!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My car unexpectedly had a steering issue while at work and a quick google search led me to T & G. After a brief call ,Jason assured me he can take a look at my car and I towed it over at the earliest date possible to have it checked out. T&G diagnosed the problem and Jason was very good at communicating with me to let me know the situation and the possible outcome while providing an estimate on cost and time to complete the job. A few days later I reviewed a call from Jason letting me that my car was ready for pick up and that I ll be saving $500 on repair cost!!! The team at T&G is very honest and provide quality service at a reasonable price. Thank you T&G for getting my Prius back on the road. I had a great experience. Everyone I spoke to was polite. I was able to drop my car off for repair and get it back the next day. The cost for the work was reasonable and my car is running great. I will be coming here from now on for all my car repairs. I highly recommend them.5/31/17I've been going here for over a year now, and have had work done to both my cars. Two of the visits were to fix mistakes made by other places. Recently, Mr. Tire next door told me that my belts were cracked and needed changing immediately during an oil change visit. I called up T&G auto and asked if I could get a second opinion from them. Jason told me to drive the car over and he would take a quick look. He was able to immediately tell that the belts were fine and didn't need changing. He pointed out that there were no cracks in my belts. I appreciate the honesty and will continue to use them for my automotive repairs.

I love the work T&G does. I take my truck to them any time I need work done, major or minor. Their service is impeccable, their pricing is beyond fair, and they have always been done with the work when they said they would. Planning to use them for years to come!Update 7/19/18We had an alternator go out on my wife's car. Jason and his team got our car up and running the following morning. It is always a pleasure doing business with them.

I took my granddaughter s car in to T&G for a loud popping noise coming from the right front area of the car. I told Jason I thought it may have been the strut making the noise but I wasn t sure. He test drove the car, put it on the lift, and immediately found the problem which was a loose nut holding the sway bar end link in place. He tightened the nut and the noise went away! I truly appreciate his honesty because he could have very well told me the strut was bad and charged for an unnecessary repair! Thank you Jason and T&D Automotive! I've been a client at T&G for 12 years--they've worked on every car I've owned during this time, including some very aged ones. They are honest and diligent, doing only the work that needs to be done and doing it with the highest level of competency. I trust them on every level, which is invaluable.

Time for me to sing these guys' praises again. I've known Jason and Steve now for very close to nineteen years. Having owned my own shop with several wizards (I'm not one) for a while when I got bored with grad school, I became VERY picky about how a shop does business. When I moved to Lilburn in 2000, I began my hunt for a shop that met my standards. There were several possibles, but these guys seemed "rightest."They still are. Rick and John, the original (thirty years ago) owners, have retired, Jason, who started there way back as a kid fresh out of school, bought the shop from them - wow, maybe six years ago?? He got taught by the best, not only for skill, but for ethics and honesty. Steve's been there since at least my beginning, and he's every bit the wizard John was. Keith runs the desk for Jason a couple days a week so Jason can wrench; he meets their standards for honesty and knows his stuff.I'm sure there are other shops around here that are just as crazy competent and honest as they are. But as we all know, there are WAY too many independents and chains and dealers that are, um, less so.Now, let's understand something. They don't do cheap. Whenever possible, they do factory parts, not aftermarket. When they charge you for Honda brake pads, THEY BOUGHT YOU HONDA PADS FROM THE DEALER AND USED THEM ON YOUR CAR. There are some makes they do NOT work on. Two reasons. First, the factories don't support independents (like, with training). Second, they don't help when you're cornered with a problem. Most makes do a great job of this.Bottom line. When Jason says they can take care of your car, they will. Period. It won't be cheap, but it will be fair and honest, and it will be with the best parts available (almost always factory), and they actually FIX the issue, not just throw parts at it. These guys are real mechanics. And, yes, it'll likely be less cost than the the dealer.Been with 'em for nineteen years. Staying put.

I couldnt afford a repair at the time... they agreed to let me do a payment plan. Thats UNHEARD OF at the mechanics Im used to. I drive a lemon and they have always been willing to work with me to fix the issues.I should have gotten rid of this car 5 years ago, but theyve been repairing it for a fair price for over a decade now :)The ONE time there was a really expensive fix, they actually recommended a different auto shop that could do that specific repair for FAR cheaper, when they could have just charged me 3x the price for the same specialty repair. Theyre honest and not out for your wallet.

I talked to Jason and told him about my problems with my car. Everything I wanted done was done within an hour. Very reasonable price to fix the leak in my car. He was friendly and professional. I recommend his shop to anyone that is looking for a good mechanic.

My real name is not the name above. I am Doug Ehrlich with a service that works strictly for the buyer, to help the buyer find the highest quality, lowest mileage vehicles that fit a customer's budget.I thought I found a great vehicle at a favorable price. But as is my habit, I always run multiple VIN histories, and if all looks good, require that the seller allow an independent 3rd party inspect the vehicle. I ask that they treat it like it was for their best friend's kid going off to college 1500 miles from home, or as if it were for their own family.Jason did all that I could ever expect from any shop, and did exactly what needed to be done to protect us from making a terrible decision to buy a vehicle that -- despite looking favorable with Carfax and other services -- proved to be a terrible vehicle.I cannot express how much we appreciated Jason taking my call and fitting me in for this pre-purchase inspection on the same day, NO LESS doing this on a Friday (which I really did not expect).I don't know about the bad review of this business. All I can say is that my personal litmus test that I've honed over 31 years of serving car buyers, this is one of the most ethical and competent shops I've used. Certainly on the top tier in my book.Every business has the occasional bad customer. No business is perfect, doing everything right all of the time. But so far as I am concerned, T & G Automotive deserves your trust at this time, with Jason at the helm. I wholeheartedly recommend them to you.

Went here to get my alternator and starter fixed! They got me a new one and barely charged me extra even though my rusty car gave them a hard time + installed my starter! She drives like a dream! Thanks Guys

Actually trustworthy shop! I m very happy with the service I received here. Full diagnostic was not too much and work was priced out affordably. They even helped me by securing my sun viser for free. I ll be back when my car needs more work (more than likely very soon). Thanks T&G!

Top notch repairs and honesty are found here! They have known how to zero in on each of our car issues and provide what is needed. A family member even had her car to a mechanic twice to fix a certain issue without success. She brought it here, and they knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it perfectly! Also, if you are considering purchasing a used vehicle, I highly recommend you bring it here to be looked over first (for a fee). We have been spared the pain of purchasing a couple of lemons. Everyone I have referred here has been very pleased.

I've been going here for 25 yrs, the staff here is friendly, honest, and professional. I had a 6 yr respite from needing any repairs or major services because of a new car purchase and was so thrilled that when I went back, everything was as great as when I left. I can't recommend them enough.

T & G is the most honest and trustworthy automotive business I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.T & G doesn't charge to diagnose your problem, just for any work they perform. They also give you options and let you know whether you really need to have the work done.I recommend them highly.

Waste of money. Every single repair done minimally & has had to be redone. They charged for brakes but forgot to check rotors. Have to pay for labor again on brakes. Only replace a single spark plug. Charged 4xs cost of sensor. Their partial repairs damaged our car. These guys are not honest. Not a good shop. We gave them many chances & they continue to operate dishonestly. I only had 1 other auto shop that was honest about my car's needs, now T &G (Jason) is now the other honest shop, that doesn't take advantage of the customer. Great service.

I have been doing business with T & G for over 25 years. When my daughters and son has car problem, I send them to T & G. I trust them and they immediately find the problem and fix it. I have no worries when our cars leave their shop. They fixed my headlights in my 2013 Honda Accord and also have replaced my catalytic converter in my mint condition Mercury Grand Marquis!

Cant be beat. Went in for rotor, master cylinder, and break pad replacement. Recieved same day service. Fair price and very professional. Bonus: have had an issue that for the life of me could not figure out. Recieved many professional recommendations on the matter with no success. Jason gave me the proper diagnosis instantly. This was a clear indicator of the thorough inspection and care A&G Automotive has for their clients. So impressed it makes me emotional. Thank you Jason at A&G Automotive!
