I can't say enough good things about this shop!! They took care of my car that had rodent damaged to it. Took to a Hyundai Service center and they asked for $6k to repair a engine harness which of course I didn't believe. I turned to Garmons for help through recommendations from Jody. Garmons shop team located the needed wire repair and it wasn't even the engine harness. Rodents had chewed electrical under one of my side panels near the rear headliner. They took the time and care no one else would. They didn't rip me off like a lot of shops can do. I'd given them more stars if I could. They will now be my go to auto shop whenever needed!!

Rick and his staff are very knowledgeable about cars. The professionalism and service is top notch. As a corvette owner, I recommend taking your corvette there at least once, and then you'll understand why Garmon Auto Services is a great place.

New ownership is horrible. I would never recommend this place anymore. I lived in Parkview district for 15 years, and I would never ever go back to this place. I recommend my friend to take her car there for either a battery issue or an alternator. Previous owners checked for me without any problem. Today, they checked my friends car and said it needed a new battery. They told her $500 for a new battery!!! I told her no way, just go to the auto zone. But the guy told her she needed to pay $60 or they were not giving her the car keys!!! Just checking to see if she needed a battery or if it was the alternator!!! She went to Auto Zone, and they installed a new battery for $150. I'm not sure if it's greed or the people are crooks.

I had a vibration during acceleration when I pulled my boat with my Toyota Tundra. They found the rear u-joint was bad. I asked to go ahead and replace all three of them so I don t have to worry about them again. They completed the work in about 5 hours. Now everything runs perfectly, no more vibration. Very reasonably priced too.

My daughter has been going here for years and singing their praises. So when our truck needed servicing we obviously chose to go to Garmin. We weren't disappointed. Gus is so friendly and helpful and their technicians are knowledgeable, fast extremely capable, and thorough. They use only OEM parts so you are not guessing if parts will work or last. And to top it all off, pricing is very reasonable. They have DEFINATELY won new customers for life!

I brought my vehicle here to address a misfire issue and an oil leak. I expressed upfront I knew it was giving misfire and catalytic codes. They charged $120 to run the codes, didn't notify me of this upfront, and didn't provide the itemized invoice before running my card. Not thrilled with this customer experience.

NOPE!!!! Brought my vehicle in for a transmission leak. I can tell the difference between oil and transmission fluid. Was told that I had a rear main seal oil leak. Guess what? My car NOW LEAKS OIL! It had never leaked oil before I brought it to them. They absolutely damaged my car and wanted 900.00 to fix a problem that they caused. Unscrupulous at best, maybe criminal. My only hope is that Karma will take care of them. You would be foolish to even trust them with an oil change. Crooks.

My 2010 Mazda 3 check engine light was on, so I took it to Garmin Auto for a diagnostic service. They recommended replacing the TCM, transmission, radiator, transmission cooler for a total of ~ $9500. I laughed at the absurdity of the price and told them the Blue Book value of my car is only $3300. I paid my $124 diagnostic fee and left. I then took it to the Mazda dealer because the diagnosis and recommender repair seemed ridiculous. The Mazda Dealer told me I needed a TCM ONLY and that would be around $1300.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Shout out to Garmon Auto Services. I brought my Hyundai Tucson in for same day service after having it shipped back from overseas. I had the oil changed and replaced the air and cabin filters. Ricky informed me the car was in overall good condition and we developed a long-term, affordable maintenance plan moving forward. As I sat in the waiting area I saw many long-time customers come and go, all happy with their service. Honest, reliable and professional.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I had my car towed to Garmon automotive because I had a flat tire and I needed a radiator cap. Besides that, the car was fine. As soon as I got my car back, it overheated. My son took a look under the hood and found that MY RADIATOR HOSE HAD BEEN CUT! Garmon automotive absolutely did this to my car!!! Of course when I called no one had a clue what I was talking about. My car has not ran all summer because of what they did to it. The hose didn't split clean like this(see photo). That is definitely a cut made witha razor or something similar. Don't give these people your business. They are down right crooked.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Shamelessly greedy.I work on cars myself but only took my cars to Garmon Auto occasionally when I was too busy or the job was too involved, because they are close to where I lived.I don't like to haggle either. So I paid what they asked for each time. But each time they overcharged me several hundred dollars. Nowadays, one can google the labor cost on each job and get very accurate estimates. They always charged me double of the prevailing labor cost. If there's an easy way to fix a problem, they made sure they took the hard way.

Very friendly service, the nature of my visit was my truck and the counter guy was very detailed in explaining the work that needs to be done and why the cost of the work, it's hard to find people that tell you things for what they are not for what sounds for them. I definitely recommend, can't wait to get truck back.

I took a car over here to get a used car inspection for a sale. I don't know what there aim was but they seem like they can't stay in their lane. Meaning if you're asked to do a diagnostic for a used car, that doesn't mean you give your input as to whether to buy the car or not. Not knowing a full story of what has been discussed, history and specifics of a vehicle and giving input is a neglected act. I completely understand you want to tell all that may be wrong with the car and that is correct, but you don't know how the words your saying can impact a sale.If your going to say don't buy a car then you better know everything about the deal. This rating is for those that are looking to get your car checked for some one else. I wouldn't do it because it seems like they haven't figured that the words they say can change someone's perception, just like a Google rating.

I am beside myself. Please know that I am not a person who would complain or say something bad about a person trying to operate a business. BUT PLEASE KNOW THIS SHOP IS A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING. I WAS JUST BLACKMAILED AND RIPPED OFF IN A SPAN OF 8 HOURS WITH THIS SHOP TO THE POINT WHERE I CALLED THE POLICE TO HAVE THEM HELP RESOLVE. I also heard the same thing from neighbors that they may be over priced but they are good mechanics. Well they are deceiptful from my experience. My wife and I moved to Lilburn last summer and was hoping to find a local honest mechanic so I chose to go to this shop as it is right down the street. I brought our car in to them at @ 10am to get a complete service including an oil change and coolant check and flush. These two items I knew I needed. I also mentioned to them that my check engine light was on and if they could help me just take a look at that. I was told no problem and that I would need to leave the car and they would be able to get to the car in the afternoon. I was not asked to sign anything nor was given any advance warning for what was about to happen. I get a call at @ 3:30pm from Gus telling me that they checked the car and hooked it up to check the code for what was wrong. They said they found the problem. It was an emission related part failure and it will cost $218 to repair. I said Geesh thats a lot of money to sink into this car right now as I have 160,000 miles on the car and did not feel I wanted to invest that type of money as they said the part did not effect the driving of the car and I could get away with it. I said great and thanks and asked if the car was ready with the other items and I could come pick up the car. The guy Gus said "NO...we did not get to the other items yet. we just checked the emission problem. It will be $95 for a diagnostic charge before we proceed. I said that sounded odd because I brought the car in for other services that were the prioroty and I am willing to pay for those services and that I felt that $95 is out of line as I am getting work done. it was not like I asked them to check my car and then I take my car and leave. So in order to try to save the money I figure let me go ahead and fix the car presuming that the $95 would come off the back end as a credit if I get the car fixed which I know the auto dealer does do that when you go for service there. They will charge you a diagnistic charge but credit you towards the repair. Well, they basically said they are not proceeding to do the other requested work until i pay the $95. Now combine that with that they did not even touch my car for the other things I started to get an eerie feeling you get when someone is taking advantage of you. I was never told up front that there was a charge for them to look at my car. I was never asked to sign any estimate for any potential charges. Shame on me but Gus made me feel with a wink wink of his eye that "he was taking care of me". I asked to speak with the owner and thats when this guy Rick comes out and I never met anyone as angry, rude and cranky and unwilling to understand or see or even listen when I got the car dealer and another mechanic on the phone to let him see that his practice is a bit unheard of. He was rude, belligerent and I EVEN OFFERED TO SETTLE AND STILL GET THE CAR OIL CHANGE SERVICE AND COOLANT FLUSH performed which was priced at about $130 worth of work if he would be willing to drop the $95 diagnostic fee. He said he refused to move on his decsion. I called the police to help mediate and resolve and again even the police asked me what I would be willing to do to help resolve this disagreement. He still would not budge. The police advised me with what I already thought I would do which is take him to small claims court for the principle. Thanks for letting me vent. I wish i could tell you if they are good mechanics or not but they didnt do anything to my car that was asked.

I have a 1963 Thunderbird, and needed some brake work done. Parts aren't easy to find for older cars, and I had already tracked down what I needed, but didn't have the time or space to do this job in my garage/driveway. I had stumbled across Garmon's by accident, and gave them a call. Gus set me up with a drop off time, and we discussed a price range. Dropped car off Wednesday night, picked up a VASTLY improved car Thursday afternoon. Price was as agreed on, with a slight upcharge for fluids and shops supplies (brake cleaner). Could not be more pleased. I'm going out cruisin with my baby today thanks to Garmon's.

I had the worst experience with this place! Would not recommend. Tried this place out because I was in the area. Unprofessional, and I honestly felt like I was being racially profiled.

I am a do it yourselfer but this time, time was not on my side and I needed quick help. I was referred to Garmon's by a friend (thanks Kevin). The repairs I needed were done quickly and I don't think they took advantage of my desperate situation. I had conversations with both Rick and Gus, both were always polite and very helpful.

Took my truck in for a check engine light. They quoted me $3000 to replace my catalytic converters. Since the cats were less than a year old I took the truck back to the shop that installed them. The actual problem was a $15 gasket.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic
