**Update**Since this review John has reached out to me regarding my concerns and we have resolved this issue. Thank you***This company does NOT do business with dignity in mind and you should NOT trust these people with your vehicle. I originally took my car to be serviced on 2/22 staying that I was having cranking issues when I put gas in my vehicle which made the check engine light come on. Most companies will do a full diagnostic to determine the issue. My first red flag was that they determined the issue by doing an $88 smoke test. That sounded really antiquated but figured they knew something I didn t as I am not a mechanic. They said the issue was that I needed a new throttle body hose, which they charged me $159 (I checked a few weeks after I already paid them, that part only costs between $25-$35) they said I also needed a top engine cleaning. I didn t. I ended up paying $520.23 to resolve my issue. The next three weeks would be a nightmare as after giving my vehicle back, I STILL had issues at cranking when I put gas in my car and the check engine light came back on. In three weeks I had been to their facility nearly 11 times, 5 of those times to get the issue resolved, two of the five times my car sat in their lot for over 8 hours and was never touched. At the fourth visit they actually caused a NEW issue where my car would start rapidly ticking and almost shut off while driving. I had never had that happen before. After weeks of dropping my vehicle off, walking back and forth to their facility to get my vehicle that STILL WASNT REPAIRED, taking off work to get service done, paying for Uber and Lyft to get to work while they had my car and did NOTHING, I finally told them I was interested in a refund so I could take my car to the dealership and get it done right. The owner John, not wanting to give me a dime, suggested that I take my vehicle to Superior Chevrolet on their account to get a diagnostic done and that Dignity would fix whatever the dealership said was wrong. WHAT!?! I just paid you $520 to diagnosis and fix my car and three weeks later, you re telling me to go SOMEWHERE ELSE to do what I JUST paid YOU to do??? Who DOES that? Dignity Star Tire does. Ultimately the dealership diagnosed and fix the issue for ONE HUNDRED AND 50 DOLLARS ($150) NOT $520.23. They severely over charged me while not fixing the issue. The problem I m having now is that the check engine light will not go off because apparently Dignity broke the NEW throttle body hose I paid for and attempted to hide it by GLUING the sensor back on. Chevy showed me the broken/glued piece before they started work so it was not the dealership who did it. They warned that the check engine light may not go off because Dignity glued the sensor. Dignity denies everything yet I m left to suffer. I have demanded my money back and John continues to ignore me so I have to go about it another way.

What a nice group of people working there , I think I interacted with 3 of them, and they're all excellent human beings, very nice people, they helped me and got me on my way, definitely recomendable, when you need a mechanic or tires check them out

This is now my go-to shop! These guys have been in the business longer than I've been alive and have been able to problem solve many issues that I've brought in. They are the best in Stone Mountain, hands down. They were awesome replaced my rims, brakes, rotors , fixed the rattling , fixed my ac, and added an external cooler to my transmission. Very courteous with Southern manners. If they say they are going to do something they do it. I've had bad experiences elsewhere. I'm very happy with their service and the repairs made on my vehicle. These are my go to mechanics now.

Brian and John are great owners. If you are in a tight situation and you need car help immediately, this is place to go to!! They are funny friendly and fast . I got two brand new tires and mount and balance on my other two tires for a great price. I am so grateful I came to this tire shop. I will be driving 35 minutes just to come to this place. Thank you Brian you have a new loyal customer

I really liked this shop. They were courteous, professional, and fast. They worked with me to get my Jeep driving like new again! Their rates are reasonable. Although i do not agree with extra charge if paying with credit card plus a "shop fee". I will definitely be back!

I ve had a few bad experiences dealing with previous auto shops, but at Dignity Star Tire it was nothing but wonderful. The owner/manager (I believe his name is Bryan) was extremely polite and personable. No one tried to up-sell or overcharge me for services & the honesty about what did and did not to be done to my car was truly appreciated. I definitely will be bringing my other vehicles to get serviced here. I highly recommend this business. Thank you again!

This is a revision to the review left under Jane doe, I actually had no idea I wasn't signed in when I left the review. I gave the manager of Dignity to give some sort of reparation for the issues that I had on my last visit. He handled it with the utmost professionalism, and gained back my business. They do good work, and for the most part have great turn around times.

I'm never coming back here they did a horrible job on my brakes once. My car shook when I stopped. I gave them a second chance because of an emergency and I needed my brakes done again. The break special on the side of the building says $99 some how I got charged $400. But the worst part is it took so long to get it done. I was told I probably wouldn't be able to retrieve my car until Monday after dropping it off Friday afternoon. Needless to say I can not allow myself or anyone else that I know to support this business.

Bryan Skelton is the absolute BEST !!! I caught a flat tire when they closed and had to leave my car here over night ( no one messed with my car ) and I m not from GA so this is the first shop I had to put my trust in . From the greeting down to the service and me walking out was the absolute best . His personality and sense of humor will welcome anyone , his good heart will Make you believe in him , the wait time will have you coming back . I m for sure making this my problem solver shop . Whole entire staff is PHENOMENAL!!! If you re ever in need of any type of service trust me come here , not only is the prices are within anyone budget , the way they listen to their customers and want to work with you will have you blown away .

They were absolutely amazing .. they got the job done fast and easy. I went to a couple different spots & they couldn t find the problem. I even paid 400 dollars for a job that they thought was the problem & wasnt. When I came to dignity they caught on to the problem pretty fast & did the job right away. Honesty & trust is their logo & that s why they will forever be my mechanics.

Competent and dependable, Brian (the owner) is very thorough and honest. He and his staff treat every customer ( I've seen there) with respect. Before I found Brian and his team I've had some truly awful mechanic experiences in the past couple years from paying for work that was never done , to overcharging me astronomically. It is truly assuring to have found a mechanic thats not only honest and that wont up sell you on some work that doesnt even need to be done, but is reasonable and timely. I could go on further but the point is these people are great and they have gone above and beyond for me, and I will go no where else for car care.

I love this place and I love Mr. Bryan! I know my car is great hands when I bring it here and he's always quick to let me know if anything might need a repair or an tune up. Customer service is great! Finally found a dependable and great mechanic!

I literally just pulled in to get an inspection and they gave me one quickly. He came back and told me what needed to be done and the service was excellent and timely. Thank you for the excellent superb service on short notice. I recommend him to everyone. You won t be disappointed.

I went into Dignity Star Tire with two blown front tires. i was completely lost as to what i needed to repair my car. the receptionist was very pleasant and knowledgeable about cars, and made me feel at ease. The manager came out to personally answer any further questions i had to get the job done. the service was very fast. i left my car there at 11:00 am and it was ready by 11:30am. i give this place 5 stars for great customer service!

Had an amazing experience here at Dignity Star. Bryan and John went above and beyond, considering I had a busted tire and financially was not able to buy a new tire at that moment. Bryan and John Replaced my busted tire free of charge, which released a lot of stress from that day. I would definitely consider Dignity Star above any other Tire place. Thank you guys for a memorable experience.

Bryan and the staff here are beyond amazing!!! As a woman who knows nothing about cars I felt very comfortable coming here alone and never felt like they were trying to up sale me. They have amazing prices and provide excellent customer service.

I took my vehicle in to get two tires mounted and an alignment. My vehicle was there from 9:30 until 5:20. I called at 10 to speak to the manager because he was not there when I arrived at 9. I asked how much the things I needed done would cost and about how long it would take. He stated that he needed to get back to me and so I agreed to let him call me back. I called the shop two hours later because I had not heard from him yet. He still was not able to tell me the cost of the services I brought it in for. After waiting on a call back, I finally received a call at 1:30 to let me know the cost. After receiving that information I was then told he would have to call back again to let me know how long, because they were still waiting for the tires to be delivered. I waited and at 3:00 I called back and asked when the vehicle might be ready, because I have to pick it up on my lunch break. He then stated it would be ready around 4:00-4:20, so I left work at 4:20 to pick up the vehicle. Unfortunately the vehicle was still not ready and they needed to do the alignment, so I asked to pay so that I could have someone else pick it up. I waited and the manager continued t handle other shop business while I was trying to pay so that I could get back to work on time. I left the shop without being able to pay and came back at 5:20, my vehicle was ready. The manager has no regard for time, and I believe he handled other vehicles ahead of mine because I was not sitting in the shop waiting on my vehicle. I will never do business with them again, and I hope no one has a similar experience with them in the future.

This place is the place to go for great customer service. I came here today after work with a Negative mindset that my car couldn t be fix,but the owner was there to relax me and give me understanding about my car and assured me that my car was in good hands. The price was affordable and the time of me being there was quick. I will go back here again!!!

Good service. I've been to them several times. My biggest issue is how inconsistent they are with being open. They are supposed to be open at 8am but the reality is they get there when they feel like it. Some days there is nobody in the front until after 10am. This is VERY unprofessional and inconvenient to customers....................................................................Update.John didn't take customer dissatisfaction lightly. He apologized and made the situation right. I'll continue to do business with them.

I actually like the quality of work done here. The receptionist, should not be a receptionist though. She is not personable at all and it kills the customer experience. The technicians are great though. I've gotten a tire replaced and an oil change, reasonable prices.

They were the cheapest I could fine which is a relief seeing how I needed a synthetic blend! They were friendly and were happy to answer my questions. Wait time was also short which is a big plus for me. Will 100% come back and would recommend to any one.

Got an oil change, but had to go back because the wrong oil was put in my car. They remedied it by putting an additive in it. My oil light is still coming on not only because it is over filled (which he claimed he took out a quart), but it still has the wrong viscosity oil in it. Not only did I waste money, but I am doing my own oil change which I was trying to avoid. I did not have any issues with my oil warning light till immediately after "this" oil change. Pro: The owner John was very cordial and gave great customer service which is why I gave 1 star. Unfortunately I will not be returning or recommending this shop at least for oil changes. Very disappointed because there were such good reviews.

Dignity Star Tire mechanic shop is the best!!! The owner and staff are wonderful, you will receive A+ Auto service and customer care. If you want your Auto mobile done right the first time,come here!!!! For me and my family this is the only place for us.
