Great selection on products. Prices are not so great. I found what needed almost 50% less at another store.

Excellent customer service! I came in intending to purchase items for a new battery I just had purchased from another advance auto and had installed yesterday and the manager Shan was very welcoming, professional and informative. She gave me more information on battery maintenance than anyone in any auto parts store had ever given. Even more than my mechanic. In addition she went above and beyond to help me even offering to clean the connectors from residual corrosion and install the pads and lubricant. She started and then she went to get Juan to come help and finish. He was professional and very helpful. He cleaned the connectors and parts and all this while it was raining. I was not expecting this at all. I came in to purchase items I thought I was going to have to get someone else to do for me and instead the team at advance auto on Rockbridge Road treated me like they were my mechanic and provided customer service you rarely see these days. I had never been to this location before, but because I was passing by I figured I would stop rather than driving back to the original location from yesterday. Now that I know the staff and manager at this location are professional and know what they are doing and talking about, I will come here from now on for my auto needs.

So it s my birthday yet I had to stop everything and come into this Advance Auto due to missing screws off my license plate and immediately the guy Lee was extremely helpful meanwhile the darker younger guy who I guess was the manager immediately started begging for my birthday money that was pinned on my shirt and Lee said man you re not supposed to be asking customers let alone women for money and he replied well she s advertising it all on her shirt and Lee said it s her birthday and the other guy carried on and on so we just ignored him and went about our business and although none of the screws were a match for my BMW X5 Lee never gave up trying until he ran out of possible options and finally gave me a return and apologized for none of the screws being a good fit, so I thanked him dearly and went outside were the other guy came to put my one screw back in. I noticed the screw wasn t screwed in all the way so I asked him extremely nicely about it and he became rude and walked away while I was trying to ask him about the looseness of the screw. Appalled, I just got into my vehicle and drove away. While speaking with my sister about the situation I decided to reward Lee for his kindness and leave a review of the situation so I returned from my restaurant with a complimentary Strawberry lemonade for the guy Lee and as I returned to my vehicle the other guy followed me out yelling what appeared to be vulgar obscenities at me while shooting a bird with his middle finger. I ignored him as I noticed Lee telling him to stop. I was going to stop and record him but I remembered that the cameras has it all on video. This review is followed by an email to corporate as well. To further validate this review below is my PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE.

Mahad help me today he put air in my tire when he seen me at the air machine filled it right up even though he was busy he took care of other customers as him and his co-worker were closing he was quick and the service was wonderful

I want to leave this place of five star I called a hundred Advance Auto Parts this is the only one that knew what they were talking about there was a nice woman and a nice gentleman who helped me with all my knowledge and everything I needed the other Advance Auto Part people seem like they're working there just to get the money at the other stores they didn't have any knowledge thank you to this Advance Auto Parts

Great customer service and efficient. Jamal was especially helpful and offered excellent customer service. I also met Juan, John and Tia when I made a return, they are all very pleasant and I was very satisfied to see the quality people this owner is hiring.. please give Kudos to your staff for jobs well done. I'm now switching to advanced auto for all of my automotive needs. Please let your staff know I'm writing this review. A pizza party is in order

Went to pick up a UPS package. The employee cleaning the parking lot said good morning before I had a chance to and the woman at the counter was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be using this store for my auto parts needs from now on. Great job hiring the right people manager!!!!

I love the store and they ALWAYS have the parts I need but today's visit was well below THE STANDARD. During a Peak Hour of the afternoon there was ONE Customer Service Representative in the store ALONE for about 20 minutes. Because of the lines getting backed up I saw three customers behind me put items back on the shelf and leave. Advance usually gets 5 stars but this visit was unsatisfactory.

I came to have my battery checked and had to purchase a new battery. I came into the store and they were very professional. They checked the status of my original battery and determine that I needed a new one. I purchased a Diehard Platinum and I'm very satisfied indeed. I was able to be in-and-out in under 20 minutes. I appreciate the swift attention and the service excellence experienced. Additionally, I was able to use my military discount. Thank you very much.

So I just pulled up and asked for help and John told me to pull down my f'n mask and then proceeded to tell me I needed to grow muscles. He then said he don't know what's wrong but I need to eat my wheaties. He was very rude! Will never do service with this company again

Awesome, awesome customer service! Gentlemen with the glasses and the paperwork in his back pocket that comes out to put your windshield wipers on really makes the store run! We drove past another another auto place just to come and receive great service. I wish I remembered his name. But go to this location, he will take care of you.

Antwon B. Was wonderful. He greeted me as soon as he saw me unlike his fellow associate. Not only did he help me recharge my car battery, he also helped me to buy jumper cables & antifreeze. He was very knowledgeable and friendly! Advance auto parts need more associates like him.

Always polite, friendly and helpful. I like it that they have both males and females employed there.The other day, my Check Battery light showed up. Not only did they change the battery for me, they showed me why I needed a new one (the old one was bulging at the sides and could have burst open if they hadn't caught it). Today, my car put up a Mystery check engine light out of the blue, and they checked the car for codes (6 of them showed up!) and printed it all out at no charge.Not long ago, I ordered a part on line and, for various reasons, had to return it. They took it back and refunded my money with no problems.Plus, the Speed Perks mean I get $5 or $10 discounts every time I buy stuff. Gotta love that!!

well I had called in to get some prices on parts and labor. they were not able to give me quotes on labor and told me to call a guy named mike.... well I called mike and he texted me saying he could t talk and to use text.... well I guess texting wasnt good too he never responded and never answered back even the next day. I ended up going to Mavis on Lavista and they took great care of me ... I wont be returning to advance

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!INACCURATE ONLINE STORE!!!WASTE OF TIME AND MISLEADING SALE!!!Went online to place an order for a 3-ton jack stand. The website had two options: 1) AutoCraft (part# AC938) & 2) TEQ Correct (part# TQ938). Both $39.99.I placed the order for the AutoCraft because I liked the color better. Seemed to be the only major difference between the products. The in-store pickup option showed the closest AutoCraft was at this Stone Mtn store. About 15 min further than the nearest location to my house. That location had the TEQ Correct in stock but not the AutoCraft. Seemed worth making the drive for the nicer looking one.I called ahead to make sure they had my order there waiting and the guy on the phone said they did. When I get to the Stone Mountain location the person helping started off with a poor attitude but that s whatever. His rude tone wasn t the issue. Nor his impatience at my needing to retrieve the order number from my email. (Figured calling ahead was sufficient; my bad).The issue was that the product I was being handed was the TEQ Correct model. I pointed out that there may be a mixup. The employee told me they no longer carry the AutoCraft model. I showed him my online receipt that allowed me to purchase the AutoCraft model telling me it was In Stock at this location. He pointed at the part number and rudely said it s the same thing.After the confusion, I walked to my car and took a moment to look deeper at my online receipt. When I noticed the difference in part number, I went back in to clarify. The employee who had just helped me, rolled his eyes as I came back in. Then was incredibly sarcastic with me regarding the confusion. He called over the other employee to back him up and he too was sarcastic as well and no help.Don t place online order for pick up here. If possible, avoid going here in general.

Waited my turn to purchase my items, but was ignored when another person came in while I was waiting and the clerk waited on that person as if I was not there...and let me wait until he was finished with the person that had just walked in...that customer ended up not even making a purchase!! Bad Customer Service!

Parts show in stock but they aren't, and the only guy working there ron or jon has the worst attitude ever. Not even a "thank you" or "you are a welcome" after I said thank you. Just looks at you as he chews gum like he's doing you a favor and the world owes him something. I'll stick with AutoZone from now on.

The staff are respectful and willing to help with whatever you need, be it car services or an item to purchase. I went for a battery test and the guy was very professional!. This is my go to car parts store.

I came here at 830 yesterday evening because my grandmother's check engine light came on and I didn't wanna risk being broken down in the rain and cold with her in the car. They said they don't do them this late because they're about to close. I work for a mechanic an hour away. I know how to look up codes so it would have only taken them 5 minutes with the reader, which would have left plenty of time for them to close on time at 9pm. Won't be back.
