Collected $2,789 from insurance back in August 20222, car still not complete, items on the insurance claim never done, complete lie, car can't even be driven due to all the issues. I am contacting an attorney, BBB and the Attorney General. Their reputation is for exactly this, including using stolen car parts, not sure why State Farm sent us there. I should have read the real reviews, not the ones they have planted. I will be posting pictures of their "completed: work" everywhere I can.Service: Auto body & trim repair

If I could give this place no stars I would. I wish I have read all the reviews. The bad reviews about this company is TRUE. They are a rip off. My husband took his car to them in May to have the body work and Suspension work done on it. This is September. The car still sound and drive the same way the day I took it in there. They will lie to you have you bring your car up there and let it sit. When we got it back because they said it was finished. They lied and it was full of ants. My black truck has been yet to be fix. But they made sure they collected there money from the insurance company. We have a truck that we can t drive after they said the fixed on 3 occasion .. please please please please don t take your vehicle to this shop. They should be out of business Ed s with the scamming they are doing. Don t believe the good reviews , you do know family and friends will put in good reviews for their company. Read all the bad comments they saying the same-thing. I m contacting my insurance company to see how I can proceed with getting g a refund or do I need to call a lawyer to get my truck fixed.. concern black ford truck owner!?!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair

I was referred to this shop by very reputable people but my experience was by far very different from theirs. I spoke with Mr Pinkston in November of 2020 about a project I was working on. We discussed the things that I wanted and agreed on a price to have the work completed. Mr Pinkston kept my vehicle for almost two months and when I picked it up yesterday I was so disappointed. The paint job was terrible. It had run marks and dried bugs in the paint. It was awful. The only saving grace was he refunded half of my money back. I feel like I was lied to on multiple occasions regarding my repairs and I was highly disappointed. I don t recommend at all.Service: Painting

Mr. Pinkston is a noble man and very knowledgeable about cars. He's been my mechanic for some years now and I trust him. I'm a single woman and don't have anyone to take care of car issues when they arise, but he helps me by not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge related to cars and I know his prices are pretty fair. I am very thankful for him! A hard working, honest Black man running a great business!

My car is fabulous when he is done he makes sure everything is the way you want and even due to covd I still got my car back in a reasonable amount of time I love it thank you and his clerk is the best as well.

I took my vehicle to Pinkston Automotive because someone referred him to me. I had some dents that needed to removed. Not only did he repair the dents, he painted both doors as well as the hood to ensure that everything matched. Excellent service and a reasonable price. I am extremely happy with how my car turned out. I highly recommend Pinkston Automotive for any car repairs or paint job.

Pinkston Automotive repaired my vehicle on 3 different occasions. Every single time their care & attention to detail was unmatched. Took three months to attempt to repair. After the owner states car was ready for pick up. Then calls back an hour later stating more transmission issues. And mentions the battery is dead and I need to pay for replacement. After paying for replacement battery. Then states transmission is not repaired and has my insurance company total vehicle out to get my $1000 deductible smh scam artist.Services: Transmission replacement, Transmission repair, Auto battery maintenance, Auto body & trim replacement

I really wish I read the reviews before taking my car to these people. I ve had my car for 5 years and never had any issues. I have been back and forth with this man . He said he replaced parts on my car and he didn t. I took it back to him because I paid him over $300 to fix a problem. He said he repaired it the second time -same problem from the first time I took it to him. In the midst of the repairs he painted a part of my car and left overspray all over my car. My car feels like sandpaper is on it and it looks horrible. Do not take your car to this man. He s nice but either he s incompetent or a scammer. Either way pay the extra money because cutting costs is not worth all of this.Services: Tires, Body & Trim, Brakes

Bad experience they give you some quotes and when you agree to pay and right before you pick up your car after agreed quote they charge more than what they told you... please pay attention to all negative reviews because that's true...never come back again.

I was referred to Pinkston Automotive and Collision Repair, Inc. by a friend . I needed help with my rear view mirror that came off , Mr. Pinkston had one of his workers look and assess the mirror, he immediately knew how to resolve and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. As a single female I was truly grateful to meet hardworking honest God fearing individuals. This will be my new mechanic! Thanks for all that you do and I will see you guys soon. Peace and Blessings

Been coming here for years. When I'm in town I go to Pinkston Automotive. Rod knows his cars and he runs things well. They get a lot of traffic so you may have a little longer return if you have major work done, but it's always been to satisfaction.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone!!! At first I thought my car was unrepairable because the mechanic kept telling me he had repaired my vehicle yet it was still running rough. Not knowing at the time I recommended 4 other people and each and every one of them stated their car was running worse after taking it to this shop. So, I decided to take my car to another mechanic, and after diagnosing my car it was discovered that ALL the parts that I payed over $1000.00 to get repaired were either NEVER replaced or were used!!! Don't see how he's still in business. It's shameful that people entrust this man with their cars, yet he can sleep at night knowing he's ripping people off. BEWARE!!! #shadetreeCar running like new now!!

This was one of the coolest repair shops I've ever been to! The staff is gold, cute nicknames being shouted over walkie talkies; the most at-home feeling lobby ever, with fresh scents and decorated with love. Definitely will recommend and return!

Used this company for collision repair and very disappointed at my results ,if you're looking to get out of your deductible they'll help but I promise you won't be happy with the work. My bumper is off shade ,paint runs where they didn't blend in ,entire backend offline ,took car back to get bumper fixed where it came loose from quarter panel but they only put sealant in the gap which made my car look even worse,missing clips in trunk ,didn't attach my wires back to body ,put some kind of adhesive on my taillight screws ,also cut hole where the taillight goes I guess couldn't put it back in .I tried calling back a entire week but no answer to let him know wasn't satisfied, but now I have to pay 2500 to get my car back to where I'm not disgusted when I look at it..

I have yet to have them paint my vehicle but just from the finished vehicles I've seen & going thru an estimate process for myself I am pleased & will be bringing my vehicle here...I will update when it's done

AFTER HAVING TWO CARS REPAIRED BY THIS BUSINESS, I'M NOW DISCOVERING THAT THEY HAVE STOLEN PARTS FROM MY CARS AND RETURNED THE PARTS TO THE LOCAL AUTO PART STORE FOR THE MONEY. I HAD TWO BATTERIES UNDER WARRANTY ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH OUT OF WARRANTY PARTS. I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW ALTERNATOR THAT WAS UNDER WARRANTY ONLY TO HAVE IT GO BAD A YEAR LATER. TOOK THE OLD PART BACK ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WAS NOT THE NEW ALTERNATOR I PURCHASED THE YEAR PRIOR... ITS SAD HOW WE TRUST OUR CARS TO MECHANICS ONLY TO HAVE THEM RIP OFF HARD WORKING PEOPLE.....
