Back in November I brought in my 2016 Chevy Cruze in for a MAF light that 3 other shops couldn t figure out. I had to get this problem fixed because emissions testing was approaching. I say after 30 minutes they did diagnostic, fixed tire sensor, cleaned throttle body, cleaned fuel injection, and had me back on the road! Less than $500 but I didn t mind as long as I received quality work. I was a little skeptical at first after seeing some distasteful reviews but at that point I had to roll the dice. These wonderful people never tried to nickel and dime me. They never tried to upsell me. They literally provided me with grade A services and made me a believer. 2 months later my vehicle is still running perfectly. Even the mechanics were in great spirits, it was like they were happy to fix vehicles and that s very rare. They were straight forward with me and didn t cut corners. Give these folks a try!

These guys are trustworthy, have affordable prices, and they do such an amazing job that you more than likely won't have to return for the same work twice. They also have a credit card with great financing options, in case you require unexpected maintenance.

They deserve zero stars!This location is not in it for the people. Please take your business elsewhere. Please go to a corporate owned Goodyear location such as the nearest one. I guarantee if you get a quote from this place and take that quote anywhere, they will be in shock how much you are getting ripped off. I am reporting this place to the BBB and so many other places for their unethical treatment towards me and my vehicle. The one in McDonough is exceptional and the location is much safer and cleaner. The owner and his son were so unprofessional and problematic and I am so sad they did business with me they way they did. They lost me as a customer. I will never bring my car here even if it s the last place with the last drop of oil on the planet and I need one drop of oil to keep to earth from exploding! Not really but that s funny.Seriously, this place is ripping people off!I showed another Goodyear the quote and they were able to perform the work for 570 cheaper!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Went there three times to do an alignment first time they told me my control arm was bad went and got them replaced second time they told me my upper control arm was bad they wanted to charge me 2000 to replace when the parts are worth like 300 so prices are not the best my third time they aligned my front but when I look at the rear the left tire was not aligned they said my camber bolt was maxed out. Went to the pep boys next to quick trip and they got the tire into regs and explained to me that my bolt was maxed out but still inside regs THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND THE EXTRA MONEY SPENT

I bought 4 new (so called new tires) for my 2017 tires, 6 months later 1 tire blew out due too tired were used or defective, owner Tim came up with every lie to justify charging me $1800 for used or faulty tires, #1 racist, this white man stated to me that my ca wasn t aligned but they charged me for an alignment when installing tire, then he came back with I spin my tires or donughs, I m 58 years old what I look like driving my Camaro like a 20 year old racist statement, black people do not patronize this business, when to Michelin tires, confirmed tires were used or defective when purchased, still working on getting my money refunded, bc now got to purchase new tires Six months after purchasing Good Year tires from Tim, head of the KKK, black people do not give this racist man your money I ll post pictures of my tires six month after purchasing I live by reviews, hope this review help someone else from getting scammed by Tim and his other good ole boys that work for him

4/1/24 *update* emissions testing is still $14.99 with efficiency and top-notch customer service.3/3/23 *update*Emissions are now $14.993/22Always friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. Great pricing of $10.99 for emissions testing. Went above and beyond to get my 23 year old vehicle to connect by checking fuses and wiring. I definitely recommend for cost efficient emissions testing.

UPDATE YOUR HOURS!Says they close at 2PM on Saturdays. I drove there (before 2) for an emissions test only to see that they actually closed at 1. Quite annoying when inconsistencies like this happen.

A $60 oil change turned into $200 bill I came here last year to have my oil change its been parked for awhile so I decided to get an oil change i went out if town for the holidays so on the way down i decided to get an oil change i know it didn't have the miles on it i been driving my other car but drove this one out of town I went to another place to have my oil change come to find out they put the strength of Zeus into tightend up my drain plug and rounded the head and didn't say anything if I was still in Georgia I would have went back and went the F off on Everyone you shouldn't have tightend up a drain plug that tight

If I could give 0 stars I would. I wasn t going to leave this review because several cars were broken into including the actual building but 1. My car was left wide open to be broken into on THEIR lot. That s right no broken window or anything but my car was ransacked and several items were taken from my car and trunk. What did the owner say? Call the cops my building was broken into as well! Nothing for the customers who had damaged or stolen goods. 2. Fast forward my girlfriend brings her car to get serviced here and has for the last 7 years. She needed a new battery upon picking up the vehicle (that was parked in the church parking lot so we know they drove it) none of the signals or lights were working. We take it back they say oh well the other battery is dead says they can fix it $800 later they call to say we need to take it to the Mercedes dealer for them to reprogram because they can t do it. WHEN I TELL YOU RUN!!! So that s another $300 when they originally said they could fix it! Do you know what the owner says? I understand . They are racist and only want to take your money without properly fixing your vehicle! They don t care if you pull off their lot and your car stops in the middle of traffic! Do NOT take your vehicles to THIS location!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair, Battery

Their posted closing time is 6:00 but they stop offering oil changes at 5:00 and emission testing 5:30. I didn t know this from their posted information and arrived at 5:33 for emission testing and was turned away. They said they have to be able to leave by 6. If that s the case their posted closing time should allow for that it shouldn t put the customer at a disadvantage. The rep was blatantly rude about the situation.

Never will I attend this place EVER AGAIN, even if my car breaks down right next the stop light!Charged me $200.00 to replace a $45.00 serpentine belt just for me to get 7 miles down the road for it to pop off again! Then when I called to see if they can replace it or give me a credit towards additional services- The owner proceeds to say, we said there was something else wrong with your car ! Well if there wasn t a guarantee my serpentine belt wouldn t pop off again 15 minutes into my drive, say that and allow me to decide if I want to continue with the maintenance instead of trying to get the next dollar out of a new customer! I Don t recommend this place to anyone who doesn t know much about cars because they will charge you whatever they sue fit, especially since they are an independent company. Good luck!

I called to schedule an appointment for an alignment, they don't do appointments. I went on 8-11-23 to get it done and was told they couldn't get to it but bring it back the next day and they could. The next morning (Saturday) I went. They open up at 8am, I was 6th in line before the doors opened. I get to the counter tell him what I need and I was told they can do it but it would be around 1:30 before I leave. I feel this was an awful display of service because he should have told me on Friday it would be a long wait instead of telling me to bring it back Saturday morning. Be honest with people, let them know you're short staff and then the customer can decide if they want to wait or not. This location SUCKS in my opinion!

Expected and good service for a tire and small mechanical issue shop. The always answer the phone (which is rare at many of these types of shops) and guys working front desk are typically accommodating. My experience with them was fairly poor. I did get 4 new tires that have been running great. I ve had my truck for 7 years and they advised I change rotors front barring arms etc. had everything replaced and 6 months after with only 9k miles of driving the rotors warped. And I was told that it was due to the way I drive. Which is completely false because keep in mind I am the same driver from 7 years ago nothings changed. They didn t want to take responsibility nor be accountable for a possible bad part.

the guy at the front desk this morning needs to go home and start over and come back with a better attitude. not friendly AT ALL! we have our days i fet it but you are making money from the people coming through your doors at least fake it and put a smile on that face and be a bit more approachable and grateful you have customers! I will go elsewhere and spend my hard earned coins

So thankful for your help! My family was traveling home from Kentucky to Florida. During our 1000 mile trip we incurred a flat tire. We were thankfully able to inflate it enough to get it to your location. And while we hD lunch next door, you worked us in and repaired the tire in an hour or so, getting us back on the road. I cannot thank you enough!

I brought a vehicle there for a wheel alignment and I got a call from them saying they couldn t do the wheel alignment because of a bad control arm. They charged me $24 for an inspection I did not ask for and I was not told about this fee when I dropped off the car. I used to be a mechanic so I m not your typical customer that you can fool. Please stay away from this shop they will always tell you your gonna need more repairs that s how they make money.Service: Wheel alignment

The Good Year in Stockbridge Ga is one of the best shops around. Some of the technicians are not the friendliest but the quality of work and the fair prices are what keeps me going back. They open up at 730 am. If you ve been there before then you know to go before 645am in order to get in on that day. Your wait is guaranteed to be quite lengthy regardless of what you are getting done, except for emissions, that s usually in and out. But the wait is because they be so busy that in-spite of the early comers, they usually always have cars from previous days that has to get out first. But the quantity of cars they always have let s you know that they are trusted by many. The prices have gone up, like everything else but they are still fair. Especially compared to other shops and dealerships.

I've been going to this place for over 10 years so it saddens my heart to have to say this but it must be said because consumers need to know. This place has gone to the crapper. The staff is rude as you know what, unless you encounter the owner or his son. First let me say, don't take your car there for nothing more than the regular oil change and maybe just maybe an emission test, and that's if the machine isn't down. Lately everytime I take my car in for the synthetic oil change, one, the price goes up everytime and two the mechanic doesn't even care to change out the sticker that reminds you of your next oil change. On my last visit, I was there because I bursted my front tire and since I bought the tires there as well and purchased the insurance for the tires. I took the car back to get the tire replaced and asked them to check and make sure I didn't knock the car out of alignment. I was never told when I got there at 8 that they couldn't check my car for the alignment. After 2 oclock, with the owner's son clearly out of the shop and the owner nowhere in sight, one of the rude customer service guys said we can't check your alignment today you'll have to come back Monday. And I was fine with that until I got in my car. No sticker AGAIN. The air pressure for all tire were off drastically off, two reading in the 30s the other two in the mid 40s. And let's not mention how my spare tire was just thrown in my truck, like a 16 year on child serviced my car. Also, when I checked out I was overcharged $25 and when I tried to ask the so called customer service guy why my bill was so high, he was so rude just not to stand and argue with him over MY MONEY, I paid and left. Ladies if you're single like me don't take your car up there!!!! Those ppl have zero respect for us and talk to us like dogs. They half service our cars, that we transport our families in and overcharge at will. I've seen this place go from a very nicely ran family establishment to a poorly performing business. Now it seems one can expect less service and a Full Service of Horrible Customer Service. And it seems to be reserved for certain customers of certain skin types. I'm a local business owner so I tend to support other small local businesses but I can no longer support this place. And I'm sure most people only go there because of the Goodyear name, which we think is symbol for good service, this is not the case.

Had purchased a new gas cap from Dealer after Check engine light appeared, Informed Goodyear that the check engine light was still coming on with a gas cap msg. Was charged $342.29 to service this issue including the diagnostic test and R&R Leak Detection pump. Same issue appeared the next week was told they had to do a hard reset and to make sure I kept the gas cap tight.. Light came back on 3 days later and the owner says there is nothing they can do that I need to take it to the dealer when asked for an adjustment in the amount paid he refused stating that he had did what was asked and that it must be a computer issue that the dealer will need to fix. $342.29 down the drain along with dropping the car off and catching an Uber bc they said they were booked. The man providing our service, Denny, was exactly what you hope for when getting auto service. Intelligent, kind, well spoken, and honest. CUSTOMERS (especially LADIES BEWARE) OF PRICING $$$I brought my car to be serviced at Goodyear because the engine light was on. This was my second time using Goodyear (Stockbridge, GA) for my 2000 SS Chevy Monte Carlo.A diagnostic test was supposedly performed and Josh gave me a price of over $460.00 for car repair which I paid. Upon picking up my car on a Friday 10/21/22, there was an empty Sprite bottle, dirty paper mat and key chain left inside.Within two days (Sunday 10/23/22), the engine light came back on. On Monday, I took my car back and showed Josh that the check engine light was back on. He seemed annoyed and suggested that I bring my car back the next day,Tuesday because they were busy. I dropped off my vehicle on Tues.Wednesday 10/26/22, he called me and informed me of additional problems. A week prior, he failed to disclose these issues after completing the diagnostic censor test. Instead of fixing my initial concerns "chech engine light", he called me with more charges to get more money: over $200 for the check engine light and $800 for transmission service which I was aware of.I WAS CHARGED A SECOND TIME FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR.When I went to pick up my car, I discussed with Jack being charged again for the same service. He basically justified the additional $96.00 but it was less than the $200 that Josh quoted. In my opinion, there should not have been a second charge at all. Typically, I would have stood my grounds and refused to pay additional cost for a service already paid for.However, I have chose to not argue and allow Karma to run it's course in this matter!!!!FYI: To Future customers especially ladies, I recommend that you get pricing in writing along with pictures/videos before and after car repair. WILL NOT BE BACK

I sent my son to this location to get my mom s emissions done on Saturday January 2, 2021. Because I took my vehicle about three weeks ago and I had good service. But on Saturday January 2, 2021 wasn t the same for my son and my mother s car. My son went into to get the emissions and ended up going outside because the owner of this location could not open my mom s vehicle with her key fob/clicker. So, of course he made the alarm go off on the car because he had press the car fob/ clicker so hard he broke it. Now, he calls my son outside because he tried to distract him from what the main issue is. When my son had already seen him hassling with the key fob/ clicker while sitting in the glass waiting room watching him. Instead of coming inside to ask to assist, he was showing signs of getting frustrating and slammed his notebook/ clipboard on my mom s car. Furthermore after the situation was brought to my attention, I called back to the Good Year location to speak with the manager about theordeal and the manager informed me that it was the owner that broke my mothers key fob/clicker. So the manager placed me on a brief hold and put the owner of this Goodyear location on the phone. So once he got on the phone I am formed him of who I was and why I was calling. I explain to him that I had sent my son there to get a emissions on my mothers 2011 Buick lacrosse and her key fob / clicker ended up getting broke. He knew exactly what I was talking about and came off really arrogant and rude. He going to tell me ma am all I was trying to do is open the car door but had to use the key to open the car door because I couldn t get it to work. I told him that it was working before it was brought there to get a simple emissions. He didn t try to show any type of good customer service or offer to replace the key fob/ clicker. He told me over the phone he wasn t going pay anything and got really rude with me. I politely told him, that s not good customer service for your business and a least you could have owned up to his mistake but he didn t. Great customer service goes along way and some people don t get that. I will not be patronizing with this business again or sending my family & customers there. I guess I ll have to file a lawsuit with my mom in small claims court. Making it right is better that being rude and arrogant to your customers who help you stay in business. I see why his emissions are $10.99 at this Good Year location. What away to start the second day of 2021?.....

As we prepared to leave Jonesboro recently for the trip back to Kentucky, we noticed that our tailpipe/muffler was hanging too low for comfort. My hope was that we could find a shop that would be willing to quickly place a clamp or otherwise raise our tail pipe higher so we could get on the road without worrying about it snagging on something in the road.After stopping at another place that said we would have to wait several hours for this simple repair, we found this Goodyear store. Although the place was slammed, the owner, Jim, was friendly and promised to do what he could. Our vehicle was on the rack within about 40 minutes, and another 30 minutes after that they had strapped the tailpipe up and we were on our way. They did this even though we are not prior customers and had no appointment. It was obvious they just wanted to help, and they did exactly that! Every member of the staff we encountered was courteous, friendly and professional. The waiting room was packed, and it's no wonder. Seems like a well-run, honest business. Highly recommended! Thanks to Jim and his team for helping us out when we needed it!
