0/10!! I do not recommend this place! I made reservations for a rental car on Monday, March 18th to be picked up on Thursday evening. I arrived at this location just for the guys to tell me they had no cars available!!! I did not receive a phone call (the guy claimed he called but I didn t have ANY missed calls from them), voicemail, or email stating that it wouldn t be any cars available!! The sales guys, didn t even apologize or anything. The white guy just stood there talking about well tomorrow we ll have 29 cars in and tomorrow that no remorse, no reimbursement for my Uber ride or anything!!!! TRUST THE REVIEWS PEOPLE!!!!

The Hertz team took care of me. I had to rent a car because my car was in the shop. With very short notice Khaaliq was able to put me in a vehicle within no time. This is an awesome team and I will be back I appreciate their service.

My husband and I reserved a car online, our reservation was confirmed, and when we got there they had no cars for us. Absolutely unacceptable way to run a business. Definitely steer clear.

It s soooo freaking sad how lazy ppl have become!!! Workers and customers are inside the building, but no one working wants to answer the phone!!! Every hertz is so very unprofessional, moves slow! Extra lazy!!

I recently rented a care from them and the costumer service was amazing. The car was clean and a gas saver. No issues at all I would definitely recommend renting from this location.

They never answer the phone. They also never have a car ready. A reservation means nothing here and staff just confirmed that to me.

The owner and his service desk member were took a bad situation that wasn't their fault at all and turned it around for me. Saved not only my bad rental experience, but also probably a larger issue overall with Hertz. Thanks guys!

The lady that was there yesterday by herself needs to do better I've been booked my reservations I pre-paid and use my credit card online now my reservation was for 1230 but I showed up a little early like at 10:30. She asked me do I have a reservation I gave her my information she looked me up she said oh you're all good but can you please come back at 12:30? Everything will be ready for you I said OK no problem I reservations for that anyway, I just thought that I would come early to make sure that everything was good and sit in ready and that you guys had a car she said yes we do you're good. I saw the Impala parked up before I drove off came back at 12:30 and she started pacing the room panicking then she's like we hold on. She went to the back Mira call came back and she's like oh we don't have any cars right now. I don't know when my manager is gonna be in, so I can't even go get you one. It pissed me off because when I went to the other location in Lawrenceville, the lady told me that that was poor customer service and poor business because you guys know when you come in you see who made reservations and you should be able to know what's your inventory like and if you know you don't have enough when people book go ahead and make a call to them informing them that you don't have rental she made me waste the entire day. I called all day yesterday she told me come back in the afternoon I said I'm gonna come back at 2:30. She said perfect. Nobody called nobody answer the phone because I didn't wanna drive the next 45 nobody answer the phone. I think they had called Lady so they kept see my number and they just refuse to answer I will never use this location again, but the one in Lawrenceville was over the top. It literally took me five minutes the whole process I think it was even less than that.

This was really a poor experience. They were late to open, and then made a remark to insinuate that it was funny (and frustrating) that people were waiting at the door. We already had a reservation, so the process should have taken all of 5 minutes, but they were in no hurry. They ignored us to spend time talking and laughing up this and that with another customer, whom I am guessing they already knew. The vehicle had a huge stain in it and a gross odor. It was obvious that it had not been cleaned. Would suggest you try a different Hertz nearby if you can.

This HLE does not offer pickup or drop off service as Hertz promises for these types of locations. This should not be considered a HLE if it's not going to offer the services advertised.

Horrible experience. Having a reservation here means nothing. They may or may not have cars to give you regardless. I had a reservation for a one-way vehicle to drop off at the airport and after waiting in line over 20 minutes, they tell me they do have cars but can't rent them to me because those are "their cars", only to be rented for round trips. Instead of figuring out a way to help us, they just offered us the number for another Hertz location to see if they could give us a car. So now we are having to find transportation to that other location and might not get on time to the airport as planned.

Worst place to get a rental , had a reservation through eExpediawhen we showed up to pick upthey did not have a car available for us , we had to wait for them to get it ready about 45 minutes .Was offer insurance and of course we said yes , we didn t want toUser our car insurance so next thing you know we got charged from Hertz for is insurance and fromExpedia as well , when I contacted Expedia they told me that they shouldHave never offer me insurance because it was already added on the reservation.I was advice to call and get a refund but when I called a women answer the phone very rude , I ask to speak to management and she said ok and left me on hold for about 30 minutes until I hung up. Totally unprofessionalWould never come back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone one

This location is close by my home and used to have a great staff. I needed to cancel a reservation today called the location, the young lady with the BIG butterfly eyelashes answered. I told her what I needed she said call the 800 number and hung up on me. Now I m mad, because I m dealing with a family emergency and this rude employee has the audacity to hang up on me. I looked for 800 number, got frustrated and called back to this location. When the lady answered I told her how rude it was for her to have hung up on me, and if she did it again, I would see them in person to handle the matter. She then proceeds to over talk me while I m speaking and ask abt the reservation and rudely tells me that I need to call hertz b/c it was an online reservation and they can t cancel it. I told her that s all you had to say the first time and she said it wasn t her, I told her I couldn t tell because they both were rude while taking the call. But I would be calling to cancel my reservation. They don t greet you when you come into the store or speak back especially the one with the BIG butterfly eyelashes. I ll go to another location if I have to battle it out with employees.

The location was a little difficult to find. The service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and caring! Because they didn't have the vehicle I requested, they graciously upgraded me to a larger vehicle. It worked out to be better than the vehicle I reserved.

We were getting ready to leave town that day and we made a reservation a month prior. We came to hertz for pickup after getting confirmation everything was good to go and when we get there, we re told there are no cars? Why make a reservation then? We were told we were third in line to receive and they d call us when a car got there- IF it got there - but that does us no good when we have a vacation and a hotel booked for that day and need to be there by a certain time. Were we really expected to sit around until they MAYBE got a car? This place cost us 4 hours in our travel timeline. Hertz, do better. If you have reservations, you should have cars for that day or have the courtesy to let bookers know PRIOR that their reservations cannot be met- it s as bad as overbooking flights! To make it worse too, we were told no hertz in the CITY had cars, or any competitors. I can t even imagine people coming into the airport looking for rentals if that s the case. As stated, an email to your customers prior to tell them so they don t waste time coming up there should have been an absolute must. I felt bad for the receptionist who had to deal with everyone who had reservations that day and no cars and 0 notifications for those who had reserved. Horrible service.

Really disappointing experience. Didn t choose to be in situation and it was very difficult getting to this location because after work all the other Hertz locations closed. Got there 30 min before facility closed and they d shut down early. I called the number and the employee stated she d left to get an oil change . I patiently waited for her to return. She was very nice, picked a car, and stated she ll give it to me at good daily rate. In retrospect I felt like all was a CYA for her for leaving work early. Due to a crazy work schedule I needed the car longer than insurance covered. They began harassing me even after I stated I was trying to return it as fast as I could via text and reasoning why. I then re-confirmed the daily rate. Finally, the original employee called and nicely inquired when car would be returned long after Id stated via text I was battling health issues and the incessant calls and texts. Finally found another car and returned rental. After all confirmation of daily rate, they charge $1700.00 on top of that, which I will be disputing. Fortunately I take pictures of all rentals before-hand. I just don t recommend this facility, or Hertz in general, unless you want to be kicked and taken advantage of when you re already down.Also, be careful with additional charges because the company claimed bankruptcy 2020.

I made my reservation through Expedia & my car was ready & waiting when I arrived. Great friendly & efficient service by the staff during both pick up & drop off, will definitely use them again over any other rental agency. My only wish is the Hertz would spend a little money to upgrade the location.. otherwise it was a fantastic experience! The customer service is superb!

I cannot say enough good things about Hertz Smyrna. Specifically Staci and Tom who are the best! They are so busy, yet they went above and beyond to get me a rental car. My car had problems in Atlanta and I could not get back home, but these two made it happen. Staci stayed in touch with me and when I showed up for my reservation everything went smoothly. I am now a Hertz customer because of these two. I hope the Hertz company reads and gives them a raise!! Thank you both so much!

Customer service? Try no service. I arrived at 4:30 p.m. for a reserved car at 5:00 p.m. I was told that a car was unavailable and I should return at 5:00. Upon arrival at 5:00, I was told there were no cars available and no drop offs had been made. Tom said, "If I have any drop offs I will call you." Guess what? No call from Tom by 6 (which is closing time). The point of making a reservation is to RESERVE a car. Good customer service would have been to call and let me know that there were no cars available. I could have found another rental with another company before closing. I would have expected Tom to call other Hertzes to see if they had cars or use a car from the airport. No apology, nothing. I was left high and dry with no transportation. I would not recommend this Hertz unless you are a gambling individual. 50/50 and the odds are not in your favor.

They are so nice here! And helpful! I really appreciated how they made sure I was taken care of and even helped entertain my 5 year old son as we waited for the car return process to complete.They both had such great personalities and made it just an overall nice experience in a very stressful time in my life. I will be returning here for future rentals!

Do not rent from this location, they are horrible. I was given a rental that was not clean and was not mechanically safe to travel in. I tried calling this location and did not receive a response any of the 3 separate times I tried to call. Safe yourself time and money and rent from the airport...

I have used this Hertz location twice in the last year. My experience has been wonderful in every way. The rental is always ready as requested and the check in and return is super easy and fast. The customer service is fantastic! The manager Tom makes sure everything is A+ and the employees are wonderful as well, especially Regina. I am thankful to have this Hertz so close to my location and wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly Recommended!

This had been my go-to car rental place for years. I rented a red Altima last week. When I returned it on Thursday, 12/30/21 in the afternoon, I accidentally left my sunglasses in the car's glasses holder. I realized it in Friday afternoon, and I went right to the rental office. The red Altima was still there, cleaned up, but my sunglasses was gone. I talked to the owner Tom. He said the cleaning guy was gone, and he'd look into it... After the new year weekend, I went back first thing on Monday, 1/4/22 and talked to Tom again. He asked the cleaning guy and people who worked there. All said no one saw and took any sunglasses...it wasn't in the car nor in the lost and found bucket...The sunglasses was in the car for just one day. Someone worked there took it out of the glasses holder from the car! Worse yet, no one care enough to investigate to see who had gone into the car on that Friday.True that it's my fault forgetting to take it when I returned the car. But it's so disappointing that they just don't care about their customer's valuable left in the car. When I called Hertz customer service, all they could tell me was to file a lost and found on their website... No more Hertz rental!!

This used to be my favorite rental location when Ms. Regina and Luis worked there. The customer service went from exceptional to horrible. The owner, Tom does not like to help his customers and has smelled like alcohol on several occasions. Also, It s been multiple times that he was rude and dismissive. He cares nothing about his customers, only money. I m a presidential gold member, I spend over a thousand dollars a month. The service is so bad at that location, that I drive an hour to the airport to get cars rather than dealing with him.

Regina called me on the morning of my rental to let me know that they did not have any cars in but she would let me know when it has arrived. I completely understand that the National customer service extends rentals without telling the actual location. I got my car within the hour of my reservation and it was upgraded to an SUV. I will be renting from this location because of Regina!!

Reserved a car with this location. Called them an hour and a half ahead of time and was informed that they had no cars available. Now on the day I need to leave there are no cars available at any rental locations around Atlanta. 1st and last time I will ever try to rent with Hertz.

The lady that was on shift on the morning of 02/13/21 was so rude and should not have a job. I made a reservation 2 days before and she called me that morning i was to pick up the rental that there was no more available cars. I told her i was in uber to pick up the car that how come she was calling me few minutes to my pick up time that there are no more cars and she responded in a very rude way and even hanged up on me. I called back to ask her why she was rude and she hanged up again. I got a car that morning at enterprise and the customer service was just so good. It might be more expensive but its worth it and they are very professional. Stay away from HERTZ

This was one of the best rental car experiences I ve had. When I arrived at the location Gina was super friendly and made it a smooth process. The car was being cleaned and sanitized, which during these times made me feel so comfortable and safe renting from you guys. I will only now rent from this location because of the amazing service Gina provided, thank you Gina!!

I had to get a rental not once, but twice with this location, for the same car accident repair situation (the other insurance "missed" some repairs the first round).Staci M., Le'Sonne B., and Tom M. (Manager), were above and beyond. Staci was who worked with me the most through both rounds, and she was great, explaining how things would go and putting my mind at ease in an already stressful situation. Tom and Le'Sonne also helped me at points, and were also great. I'd be happy to use them again in the future.
