If you drive a Volvo, these guys are hands-down the best mechanics in the area, if not metropolitan Atlanta. I have a 2011 C70 convertible that needs regular maintenance. Most repair shops won't touch it b/c the car is old, Volvo is moving toward all electric, the parts are not readily available, they don't know how to fix it, on and on. After living in Vinings for two years, I finally found Ed's. They are always helpful, friendly, competent, and patient. (I ask a lot of questions.). Thank you, thank you.

I can t express in words how grateful I am for this place. I have two Mercedes trucks that they service. These guys go out of their way to troubleshoot and solve issues. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and cost conscious.Often times when I pick up my vehicle I ll ask are you sure you charged me for everything you did? Worth every penny. Very fair pricing.Book in advance because they are in high demand.I wouldn t take a Benz anywhere else.Services: Engine repair, Brakes, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

This is the only place you need for your Mercedes-Benz repairs. Reasonably priced and great service. They are knowledgeable and will get the job done.I've had three of my Mercedes vehicles serviced there. For once I can say there was nothing they could have done better. Everything was right on time including when when vehicle would be ready. When other places gave me quotes of $2k -3k to service my air shocks, Jason said we will get you in and on the road in no time.The best thing about the whole thing was it was $900 -$1800 bucks cheaper.I'll drive that 40 minutes for Ed's shop anytime.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I was dealing with an AC compressor that was no longer producing cool air - needless to say it was uncomfortable. In addition, one of my major engine belts had excessive wear. I drive a Volvo XC 90 and was preparing to travel.Jason instructed on when to bring it in. Needless to say my car is not only running smoothly and quieter, but the AC now will have a Polar Bear needing a jacket!Thank you Jason and team! All is well!Jon

We came from Canada, this is the first time to repaired in Atlanta, this repair experience has left a impression, Jason is very friendly and professional. We are satisfied with the result and feel that the waiting time of 3 weeks for an appointment is worthwhile. We are very grateful to their staff. Here will be our first choice for repairing Mercedes.

I had to stop and leave a 5 star review of Ed s Mercedes shop. This was my first time ever visiting them and although they were so backed up they fit me in to keep my worn down brake pads from causing damage to my rotors which would leave me with a much higher bill. So nice to work together with people that really care about their customers and not just their bottom line. I will definitely continue being my car to these folks.Service: Brakes

The customer service from Ed's MB Medics is unreal (in a great way) and is above anywhere else I have been. Jason was very professional, very detailed in notifying me of the issue, what it will take to resolve and pricing breakdown. In addition, since they are closed on the weekends and knew I needed my car, they stayed past closing to complete my repair. These Guys are the most honest and through in the business. I've used the dealerships...rip off!! They inform you of what needed and what's not, keep you in the loop every step of the process. Very courteous knowledgable and approachable. I've been going to Ed's for over 5 years and as long as I'm in Atlanta, I won't even consider going anywhere else! I have a 2001 C240 with just under 200K miles and the crew here has kept me on the road due to impeccable repairs and 5 star customer service. I've never questioned any diagnosis as I'm always kept in the loop on the details and given a thorough understanding of what's being done to my vehicle. Ed is a fair and honest business owner who treats his customers with respect and kindness. I look forward to many more years of exemplary service from him, Amy in the front office and all of the expert technicians on staff!

Our MB had a strong gas vapor outside and inside our car after the vehicle was driven. Even though we could not get an immediate appointment to get it checked during the holidays, Jason kindly and quickly worked us in after a cancelled appointment. They resolved the gas smell issue promptly and professionally while finding a broken tube to the fuel filter. MB Medic made our holidays merry and bright! They are a great, trustworthy company with an awesome staff that my wife and I will go absolutely nowhere else to have our MB serviced!

The customer service is unmatched by most of the shops I've been to in the past. Very few places, have a owner come out to explain the issues, the repair and stand by their work. Prior to going to Ed's, I went to 2 other mechanics, which they suggested that I go to a dealership. Major compliments to ED's for fixing an issue, many others believed to be a computer issue. They are busy, and you may have to schedule an appointment, but the end result you will be pleased with. Thumbs UP for my experience ! !

I just had a B service and the cost was $174 (01/2021). I completely trust this shop and they are one of two shops that in my 40 years of owning autos has never tried to sell me an unnecessary repair. The owner is an honest straight-shooter, and that's unusual, imo, to find in this type of business. The bays in the garage are cleaner than most home garages, and I feel that shows how they treat your auto when working on it. The shop is a good distance from my home, but it is completely worth the drive! Another thing that I really appreciate is they schedule their appointments so there is no waiting to be seen. If my appointment is at 2:15, my car will be taken back at 2:15 -- my doctor's office could use their guidance! I can 100% recommend Ed's MB Medics.

Amazing customer service! Ken was super helpful and knowledgeable and most of all honest. I called them the day before NYE for a battery replacement and they were able to squeeze me in the next day despite their already packed schedule on NYE. It was a positive experience overall! Will be taking my car there for all future services!

We have been going to Ed s since moving to Atlanta 13 years ago, and even though we are no longer in the Smyrna area we still drive across town for their honesty, excellent work and reasonable prices! We have had a Volvo S40 T5, a MB E320, a MB ML350 Diesel, and will soon be maintaining a MB E400 wagon with Ed s. We have actually leaned away from purchasing other than used Mercedes and Volvos, because we want to have our cars serviced by Ed s MB medics!

air compressor on the air suspension went out in my 2008 s550. the guys noted there was a filter and line missing from the last mechanic that replaced the part. car drives better than it did before. Has free WIFI. Large location that is fully stocked with inventory. The mechanics are impressively skillful. The only issue might be the extremely high prices.

Very happy with my experience here.Jason was very thorough explaining the diagnosis. He explained what had to be repaired now and what to expectwith a time line for the future.Ms. Amy was very knowledgeable as well. She made me feel very comfortable with her answers explaining exactly the repairs and the service preformed on the 2008 MB.

As a single woman, it is so great to know I can take my vehicle to be repairs and know I will be treated with honesty, fair price and exceptional service. The vehicle I took to Ed's for over 4-years was totaled in an accident, however, as soon as my new vehicle needs to be serviced I will return to Ed's.

Fantastic! Somehow I managed to cripple the turn signals and wiper in my CLK 320 while repairing the exterior driver side mirror. We're leaving on a 10 hour road trip and clearly would have safety issues with no wiper or signals.I called Ed's at about 8:15, explained the situation. Although they were overbooked for the day, I was invited to visit so they could take a quick look and determine if this would be a 10 minute or 2 hour repair.I was outta there at 9:15 with a replaced fuse and working accessories for an incredibly reasonable cost.5 bays, friendly staff, clean appearing facility and at least 40 MBs and Volvos in the pen. If you need service, Ed's is the place to go. Thanks folks for bailing me out, You're the best.

I have driven Mercedes for the last 25 years and have had them serviced by both dealerships as well as independent Mercedes certified shops. During all that time, I was never truly satisfied. That all changed this past Monday when I brought my 2006 SLK350 to Ed's MB Medics. Ed & Jason, as well as the rest of the team diagnosed and fixed the problem I have been dealing with for about a year. They are professional, experienced snd knowledgeable. Finally, and I believe most importantly, they are honest!

Above and beyond service. Some of the nicest people in the automotive industry. Amazingly knowledgeable. Extremely thorough. I am a customer for life.I found Ed s MB Medics after researching for days about why my car would sometimes not start. Someone online correctly diagnosed my issue as being a faulty ESL system on a 2009 C300. They linked a company, Pressertech, who makes emulators that will forever fix this faulty design. If you go to MB, they ll just fix it with the same parts that will eventually go bad again. And charge you $1,500 for it.After confirming the ELS system was going bad and that an emulator would be the best fix. I had my car dropped off at Ed s. The tow truck left it at the wrong business down the street. Ed s had no problems walking down the street to pick up my car to begin working. I dropped my car off and was told not to worry that everything would be taken care of and they would work with Pressertech to install the emulator. I just can t get over the amazing customer service and how Ed s so willingly went above and beyond for me when I truly needed it. They were communicative and had my car good as new within a day. The repair was literally a fraction of the price if I were to go to MB and they thoroughly checked my car for any other issues free of charge and spoke with me when I went to pick up my car about any services or anything I should be considering in the future. I will be returning to Ed s for all my servicing and any other issues I hopefully don t ever have again. They made me feel very comfortable with owning a MB and that they are always there if I need them. Will recommend all my friends and family who drive MB to come here. If you wonder how an automotive shop as 5-stars this is why.
