I have used Cooper Lake Car Care and it's predecessor Cooper Lake Chevron for roughly 35 years. I trust Jimmy, Mike, Tyler, and the other mechanics because they do what is best for my vehicles, and make recommendations that I also trust. Easy to work with. I even have tires purchased online drop shipped there for installation. It is a family owned business, and reputation is important.

They were friendly. They did many of the items on the list. They discovered a new problem so we will go back to have that taken care of and then the other items can get finished. This was a great first experience.

I m a single young woman and this place never intimidates me or deceives me. I ve even asked them to look at things and they ve looked, and told me they re okay instead of making up problems to fix. I only take my car here

I needed to know if my car was safe to drive (and I drive to work) after the check engine light came on. I had an apt at a different shop, but called to see if this shop could do what I needed. This gentlemen was able to quickly do a basic check to see how urgent my issue was. He saved me a $160+ headache and two days lost work from the other place I made an apt. He gave me real advice that I felt was honest and I felt very taken care of. Thank you!

I work in construction and turning a wrench gives me a headache. Jeremy and his team fixed my work truck headache free. I was referred to them by my client who assured me they were the go to guys, did great work, and were honest. Tom was right! They had me fixed up promptly and were great to interact with. Jimmy is an honest and fair guy. He doesn t play games and always tells me exactly what I need nothing more. And Jeremy is very nice and always helpful. It s always a pleasant experience when I bring my car for service, which is really important as a single woman who is responsible for the family car.

I don't leave a lot of google reviews but this one seems necessary. As a woman, I used to dread going to the mechanic. I always felt like I was being taken advantage of, and being charged way more than I should. I'm so thankful I stumbled upon Cooper Lake Chevron. They were straightforward with me from the beginning of the process, and kept me informed with exactly what was wrong with my car, as well as the total cost of repairs. Their prices are fair, and they don't add on any unnecessary services. I love these folks. I bring my Fiesta ST and F-150 in for everything, and will bring my Subaru I just bought here as well. I'll be calling Monday morning on that.I think a lot of folks have unrealistic expectations for mechanics. If you're going to a mechanic, it's usually because something is wrong. Cars are complex and expensive to maintain. The folks that work here are no nonsense but they're trustworthy and know what they're doing and talking about. That's exactly what I'm looking for, personally. I've never felt like I've been upcharged for anything here - when they call with a suggestion on something that should be fixed, it feels honest. I feel the prices are reasonable, especially given the quality of work.Long story short, I'm a happy customer and will keep returning.

If you are looking for a place to take your car, where you won t be taken advantage of- this is it! Jimmy and the other mechanics are great! They always do what you ask and NEVER add on any extras. They always call you about the estimate before they do anything and they take the time to explain what is going on with your car. Jimmy will also call after a couple of days to check and make sure that the repair worked and that there aren t any issues! I am so impressed with their communication, their reliability, and their integrity.

Jeremy is always helpful and timely. The whole garage is helpful and takes the time to explain what's wrong with our cars and takes the time figure it out when other auto shops shrugged us off. Never going anywhere else!

I've taken my car to Cooper Lake Chevron for major repairs, and I am very happy with my experience. Admittedly I don't know much about fixing cars, so I am at the mercy of professional mechanics when it comes to fixing things. They could tell me I need to fix anything and I would be none the wiser.After dealing with the dealership which gave me a massive list of things that I needed to fix, and then going to Cooper Lake Chevron and getting their list of things that needed to be fixed, I feel like Cooper Lake is very honest about telling you only the things that you absolutely need to fix. That's a very valuable thing in these times, when buying a car and paying for car repairs are both subject to extreme inflation. I feel that going to Cooper Lake for repairs saved me thousands of dollars, and got my car to the condition I needed it to be in.Jeremy is very knowledgable and easy to deal with, a very nice guy. I can tell these guys take pride in doing things the right way, and that is nice to see, especially these days.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. It broke down in Sandy Springs. Oil cooler broke, mixed oil with coolant, engine stopped. AAA tow to one of their shops. Next morning they call and say, "engine is seized, starter is out, radiator is ruined", $8000 est, no itemized list, no discussion. I smelled a rat. If the starter is out, how can you really test the engine? Called Jimmy. He had it towed to him, took a look the next day. Engine is fine, cleaned it up, replaced the radiator and hoses, and I'm out the door at a reasonable price. Great work, speedy work, friendly. #real mechanics #customer service. I've been a customer for 10+ years. Jimmy and Mike have always done an excellent job fixing my vehicles and they're always honest. While I now live on the other side of Cobb, they're worth the drive!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Save yourself the Headache and go elsewhere. My car sat on the spot for 2 months. Whenever I called and spoke to Jimmy who is the owner/manager he would have a new story for me all the time. Either his mechanic is on a vacation, or he has not had the time and will check it later, later which never came. I went personally there to check on the car and he told me that they had been slammed with work, well if you cannot handle the work, dont waste your customers time. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THERE. There are plenty of mechanics in the area who are very professional and keep their word when they say some thing. SHAME ON YOU JIMMY ! ! ! ! !

We called to ask if they would give a free quote for a repair. They said yes and we made an appointment to bring the truck in. They asked if we wanted an optional diagnostic test and we said no because we already had that done and just wanted a 2nd quote on the repair. When we brought the truck in they again asked about the diagnostics and we said no. We clearly said we didn t want to run any tests or pay for the quote and if they couldn t do that we didn t want to leave the truck. They said ok and then called a few hours later to pick up the truck and charged us $133. They ran the diagnostics anyway AND still never gave us the quote for the repair. I spoke to someone named Jennifer who said we are in the business to make money . I emailed the company and never heard a response. We will not go there again.

This place is great. If you have any vehicle repair needs don't hesitate to give Jimmy (owner) and his crew a call. Prices are reasonable and they don't take forever with your vehicle.

I did my cars emission testing 4 times so far at Cooper Lake Chevron. Staff is very friendly and efficient. You can just drop by to get your vehicle tested. No appointment needed.

Needed my AC system evacuated before working on it myself; they recovered the freon for me, no charge. Looks like they do other good work by how busy they are!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! TERRIBLE pricesThe Management and Crew only want to Work on Easy work, things you can get done for cheap at a lube express company for less Money, after lying to me about doing service to my car, which sat unfenced for 3 WEEKS !!! They lied to me, and told me problems were wrong that weren't wrong, they lack Intergrity and worksmanship... The manager JIMMY was very rude and lies directly to me on several occasions... After my car sat in the same spot 3 weeks!!! Jimmy told told me Rudely, " I ain't touchin it!" DO NOT waste your time or money here... I'd hate to even give this hole in the wall 1 star... Save yourself the Headache and go elsewhere

No frills gas station for those who care about the quality of the gas. Being Chevron, it comes with Techron, which keeps the injectors in decent shape. The pumps are old and hard to read the LCD displays if the Sun is right behind you. A big plus: It's traditional style, so they have light maintenance and repair services.
