Cobb Galleria Automotive is my go-to for car maintenance, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly patient and attentive to my needs. I enjoy working on my autos, but when time or my skill level does not allow, this is my only choice. They do it right instead of on the cheap. They never tried to upsell me. They can actually diagnose instead of randomly replacing parts. Never had to fix anything after their work. Guess it has been 15 yrs of 5 star experiences.

I cannot mention enough just how great this team is and this place of business! My family and I have been taking our cars here for more than 20 years and they have consistently treated us with the utmost respect, kindness, and above all honesty with everything service. I moved to Dunwoody a few years ago and still take my Lincoln to them whenever anything goes wrong, even opting to have it towed all the way across town when needed. Jason, Waylon and all of their team are simply the best! Thank you for making it easy to recommend you to everyone I know!

Had one of the worst experiences ever, especially in light of having read so many glowing reviews. The employees were sullen and unfriendly, acting as if taking a look at my car was a bother.My car had an obvious coolant leak, and so they took it inside to take a look. A few minutes later, without even pointing out where on the car the parts needing repair/replacement were, I was simply told it would cost $3,800 to fix!! He didn't bother showing me a specific estimate breakdown, I had to specifically ask for it, again getting the feeling it was too much a chore for them.On top of that, they then asked for a hundred dollars for their diagnosis! I was stunned and pretty outraged, as I'd never before been charged for taking a look at an issue with my car, unless specifically pointed out, and agreed upon BEFORE anything is done. As if that wasn't wasn't bad enough, their diagnosis and estimate were way out of line, as a top mechanic ended up fixing it, for less than $500!And that included replacing a water pump, which wasn't even on their estimate, which if it were, would've put their estimate well over $4,000, for what actually was a fix nearly TEN TIMES less than their rip-off price! When I later requested a refund for the $100 I'd been inappropriately charged, they never bothered to respond. I'd rate this place zero stars if I could...

This is the only place my wife and I take our cars to. Very fair prices and incredibly friendly people. Twice now, our cars have broken down and needed immediate repairs, one day later they're back up and running. I called around to about 6 different shops in the area and these guys had the best estimate and best out the door price i've seen. Will continue to use them as long as i'm in the area.

This is the best mechanic shop EVER! I have brought my vehicle here on several occasions. Each time they were able to get it diagnosed while I was at work for the day. They are always honest and priced perfectly. I took my car here to get checked out as I was hearing a noise when going left. The man took my car in back and looked at it. He said I just needed new tires as the tread was low A few weeks later my entire driver side wheel popped off while my teen was driving resulting in $3700 in damages to the car. Will never go here again.

Spend 2k on getting new CV joints and Control Arm installed. They also installed a lovely tear in my leather seat and did not tell me. I leave for Colorado soon and its not worth my time/energy to have them fix this. I will have to eat the cost sadly which is another 350 that I dont have and worry. Wish they would have owned up to it in the first place. Aside from that they do okay work I guess. I will update if my car even makes it to Colorado after their work. It does feel good though drive with the new end.I made it but I need new alignment as when breaking at any speed the steering wheel violently shakes. Funny new front end did not last highway driving . Really choose any other shop than this one.

CGA saved my pocket and week... I went there for a second opinion on my transfer case being replaced and Sam Steed got me the right diagnosis. The first shop I went to wanted to replace the transfer case that would have ran me over a thousand bucks. Thanks to the great techs at CGA, that wasn't the problem. I just needed a new U joint. Sam tried 2 that were pre manufactured for my vehicle and neither one worked to his standards, so he had one made the same day bringing what would have cost me a lot down to 150$.. It is perfectly balanced and now rides smooth as glass. Thank you for your honesty and dedication in getting my Infiniti like new again.

My current mechanic is retiring very and I had hoped to find with CGA a good replacement, a good honest bunch that I could be with for years to come. Unfortunately, a recent incident has exposed a number of disturbing things about CGA. I had gotten my wheels aligned a month ago, but then notice my steering wheel was crooked and that the car was pulling to the side when I braked. I took it to CGA and they told me I needed pretty much everything in the front end steering replaced, bill $2,200 quote. They also charged me $120 for the quote while I was thinking what to do. I went back to my old mechanic, who within 5 minutes showed me that the original wheel alignment was done badly. So I went and got a new wheel alignment and it's driving as good as new. I went back to CGA to tell them and the head mechanic was very defensive, standing by his original evaluation. These guys have no idea what they are talking about, or worse they are careless and happy to gouge you. They come across as confident of their opinion but it's a smoke screen. I'm still looking for a decent honest mechanic in the area and if you are wise you will (like me) steer clear (pardon the pun) of CGA.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Absolutely love this place! Great staff, great service. Agree with the positive reviews! These folks are awesome. I dealt with Whalen who was very professional and timely with communications. Long story short -- Needed diagnostics run on a vehicle that had severe engine shaking and engine light on at idle. Called two different dealers of this make and was told they could not get me in until APRIL (over 2 months)!Called and spoke with Whalen on Friday afternoon, and he stated they could run diagnostics on Monday. Received a call around 9am - they had already performed the diagnostics. Completed a repair and picked up vehicle that afternoon. Will definitely use this team in the future!

Very transparent! Much appreciated.I went in because a mechanic at Auto Service Unlimited told me that the control arms and bushings on my car were completely dead and needed to be replaced immediately. (And told me that it was likely that my tires would fall off my car while I was on the highway.) This was suspicious to me because I wasn't having any issues with pulling or groggy driving. So I went and got a second opinion.The employees at Cobb Galleria were super efficient, it took them less than 15 min to give my car a full once over. They informed me that my control arms were FINE and my bushings were cracked and beat up but not enough to warrant essential replacement. They also informed me that my tires were getting a little low and I should probably replace them in the next few months. They didn't try to pressure me into a single service.I've never experienced such a level of honesty at a mechanic, and I greatly appreciate it. They've definitely earned my loyalty.

This place was such a blessing for me. My car started breaking down, on the way to work a few days ago. My prayers were answered when, instead of being stuck on the side of the road I found this place less than two miles away. I pulled into the parking lot just as they were opening up and was greeted by Whalen the minute I walked into the door. He was really kind and professional. He had someone looking at my car within minutes! They did a great job diagnosing the problem and even told me that they could fix my air conditioner. I had been trying for find a shop that specialized in that kind of work for months and was so grateful for the price that Whalen quoted me for the repairs. I really want to thank him for the wonderful job he did making sure that I was completely satisfied. He deserves it.

Excellent customer service!!! When I pulled up someone came right out to help me and with a very friendly attitude. He was honest about when he would be able to get to my car and fix it. My car was fixed before the projected date. They were super quick and even kept me updated on where they were with the process. A week after I had my car back they even called to make sure everything was great! I m EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with their service!!!!

What great service! I was in town for a baseball tournament and on the last day of our stay my car wouldn't start. Cobb was able to get my car in an hour before closing and fixed it fast and easy. Courteous staff. Good price. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A few times I thought I was going to pay more and they told me it ended up being less because I did not need everything I thought I did.A couple of times ago I was doing work on my laptop in the waiting area using my lap as a desk. They brought over a small portable desk for me to use. That tells me that they really do think and care about their customers. I can t see what they are doing in their bays, but I can see what they are doing in the lobby and I like it.Fair prices, great service, and reliable... it is hard to find that in a mechanic. This place is great, I just brought my car here for the second time. This time for brakes and once again I felt like I was getting a fair deal. They treat you well, and were able to fit me in within a day of calling the office. I ve been searching for a while and now I think I found my new mechanic. Works out well too because it s within walking distance of my Apartment.

I m blown away by how honest and transparent they are! Took my car here after some other place tried to charge you 1200 for fixing an issue I knew my car didn t have. As soon as I called them for a quote and told them my issue they said it didn t sound like I had the major issue the other shop was saying. After examining my car they found out it was a very minor issue and I ended up paying less than 20 dollars to fix it. They were so honest and upfront, didn t try to sell me services I didn t need or anything like that. Needless to say they have all my business now!

I have been to Cobb Galleria Automotive twice now and both were great experiences. Recently, I took my car in because I thought I needed a part replaced - instead of just taking my word for it, the mechanic inspected the part and recommended that I wait to replace it because I could still get some good use out of it. I appreciated that honesty! Needless to say, once the part needs replaced, I will be taking it to Cobb Galleria Automotive and entrusting it into their hands!

It took me a long time to find an automotive repair place that I trusted. I was glad to find Cobb Galleria Automotive. They are friendly, professional and reasonably priced. They have changed my oil for years. I've had my breaks done there and had a tune up. They NEVER TRY TO GET ME TO HAVE WORK DONE THAT I DON'T NEED! That means the world to me. I love their service and will be back!

I recently moved here from out of state, and had some serious car troubles about 4 months after my move. I looked for a mechanic/garage close to where I lived and came across Cobb Galleria Automotive. After reading some great reviews, I figured it was worth checking out. They were extremely helpful and nice - one of the employees even drove me across the street to Enterprise so I could pick up a rental car while mine was being worked on. To my surprise, the were able to order the parts and get my car repaired the same day! I was very impressed with their fast service - and they gave me a good and fair deal! So glad I checked this place out - will certainly be using it as my main garage!

I heard great things, called, was told they could see me at 1pm. I cancelled my appointment elsewhere, showed up, waited over an hour and was then told I was going to be seen AFTER they finished everyone else, whenever that may be. I left, obviously. --- I then ended up on that side of town 30 minutes before their posted closing time and called again, hoping to be seen and was told they were closed already. Idk... great family, poor service. I wish them continued success, but they will never lie to me or waste my time again. --- No worries, my brakes were completed by a lovely family that understood customer service the following morning.
