Upon driving from New Hampshire to Florida, I blew a tire on I-95 South on Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2024, at 3:30. After pulling off the highway at Love's Truck Stop, Richmond Hill, I called Mavis Tire, about a mile away, and was told that although they had the tire I needed, they would not take on my job so late in the day because they closed at 5. I then found this Walmart 8 miles away, and I drove on a sad donut, hoping for the best. I was so thankful when the guys in Walmart Automotive said they would take care of my tire without a problem. I cashed out from Walmart at 4:50 and continued my journey to Florida. Thank you to all the guys at Walmart Automotive who handled my tire issue and got me back on the road. People complain about Walmart stealing local companies' business away, but Mavis Tire handed this sale directly to them. Thanks Walmart!

Worst place ever incompetent techs that dont know anything about cars a simple balance and what do i receive more problems and they make every excuse to blame you for why and hows look at how many weights is on this tire stay far away from this place i cant even drive past 40mph 2nd picture with less weights is after napa balanced them

The best place in town to get a battery! I needed a H6 AMG battery 179.84 and a 4 year free replacement. Advanced Auto 245.00 and 3 year free replacement. Charlie was friendly, and the service was excellent.

Oil change, RUDE mechanics yelling from across the shop, as if they thought I could hear them. I asked them what did they say, yelling again. You can not park there. Maybe if the door wasn't closed on the first bay, it would have made more sense to me to park there! Also maybe next time, instead of yelling, work on your customer service and walk to the customer to let them know. You has music playing and you were yelling at the other side! Really triggered a bad vibe!Service: Auto maintenance

Why have a 7am open time when you won't let anyone in until 730? I was literally the second person to be there. 1...ONE single tire change took 2hrs 30 mins. Almost THREE HOURS for ONE tire. insane. hire and pay people with experience.

I have had excellent experiences here before but this one was just okay. The tech was a nice guy, for sure and they got my truck in quickly. Not the fastest swap of 2 tires but not the slowest, either. Decent, overall.

Charles and his kind demeanor were the only reason I gave this shop two stars. The manager in the plaid shirt needs to get his act together. I asked the supervisor if they did Apple Pay (there is a sign on the door, but there was no support on the antiquated keypad), we made eye contact, and he walked right by me without acknowledging his customer. They falsify the service description, which is a huge red flag. I did not get any washer fluid filled (marked), so I think they are not checking levels correctly or identifying safety hazards. Expect Walmart service. They are just checking boxes, not servicing your vehicle. I hope my oil filter is on the right way.

I showed up to this Walmart at 5:20 I asked the gentleman in the Automotive service department if they charge batteries. He told me that they indeed do & it free of charge but they're in the process of closing at 6:00 he wouldn't be able to do it now. I know from experience that it does not take more then 20 minutes to charge a battery but he refused to take a custom as he's just standing there doing absolutely nothing. As i walk way two more people were arriving.I choose not to say his name but yet wanted to just leave a review to let Walmart know they need to do a little better in their hiring process.Service: Auto battery maintenance

If you need oil change or tire work then this is a very affordable location. If you order the tires online and get them delivered there for the install then you will save a bunch of money that way. However, it does take a good bit of time to get the work done when they are busy since this is not a "quick lube" location. If you are able to leave the car while you shop then that is the best way of doing it.So for the price and savings it's worth the wait.

Took tire in to get mounted, they offered to put the new tire on. Came back cross-threaded and tried blame Mavis Tire Shop. Employees were rude and unhelpful. Maintenance tech first tried to get out of mounting the tire then out of putting the tire on. Charged for a tire we did not buy then had to argue after exposing we brought our own tire to get a refund. Was harassed by employees while trying to put the tire on ourselves.Service: Tires

I visited the Walmart tire and lube center on a ogeechee road, upon my visit the associate Linda did a great job. It seemed like after I walked up to the counter a large quantity of customers came up behind me within seconds. I asked for tires that did not need to be mounted I was going to take them with me so she went back to check to see if y'all had my tires. Meanwhile the customers were getting a little agitated having to wait when she came back to let me know that they had the tires. Afterwards I noticed a few of the customers are very rude and disrespectful towards her. But I was impressed with how Miss Linda handle the situation calmly never raising her voice and not becoming rude back. It's my opinion that Miss Linda deserves recognition but that's just my opinion.

Called and was told they have my tires in stock. 12 of one brand, and four an another brand. Called back because my tires are under warranty. Needed to buy a new tire at a prorated price, and would get someone else to put it on. Pooler Walmart promptly told me they have no tires in my size. So in 5 minutes they sold over a dozen large tires? Or maybe they just lied because they SUCK! Not a problem I'll pay more for better service elsewhere!

Warning, go somewhere else. Was going in to have tires put on a truck. I explained what I wanted, they said they had a goodyear tire which was what I requested. I asked what the DOT number was so I could be sure it matches. They said that doesn't matter(Wrong) as long as the size matches. I looked up what they were about to put on, requested they show me the tire first. They were about to put on tires meant for a minivan not at all meant for a truck. I had good service in the past, but these new guys have no idea what they are doing.

Took 2 and 1/2 hours to get a tire plug. A 20-minute job. The guys were short-staffed so not their fault. The waiting room TV needs work on because nothing comes in I had to make it work. The guys back there look so hot. there was no reason for the big big big doors to be open so they could have AC back there. They do a good job, cool them off CEO in the ac office!

Bought a battery & installation 1:31pm on 11/05/2021 & was told it would be a few minutes & never asked for my name or number (had 2 cars in front of me) so i came back an hour later to check on my car & it was moved to a parking space & they said THEN they asked me for my name & number & told me it would be a few minutes again well i waited another hour & 15 minutes & i finally asked what was up with my car & why it was taking so long & then they said they lost my keys & then after 5 minutes of looking they finally found them & told me it would be ready in 15 minutes . 45 minutes later & it s still not done . Needless to say . Don t get your battery installed here go to Mavis instead.Service: Battery

Needed some new tires on a Sunday as one of mine was separating. Place was super busy and I was told 2&1/2 hrs to complete. Had no choice needed the tires. Crews got me in and out in 1 hr and 10 mins. Thank YOU VERY much.

Negative stars....don't trust them with your vehicles at richmond hill, GA Walmart.They ruined my rim lock key and didn't take responsibility. I knew better than to take my vehicle to Walmart car center. Please save yourself the headache. Manager is so unprofessional, but what do you expect. Hard lesson learned.

Dont go here, staff is completley incompetent. Went in at 12 for oil change and tire roation. Was told it would be 1.5 hours, no big deal. Checked back at 130 and was told oil was done but still waiting on rotation. Get a call at 1:45 saying vehicle is done. Price seemed too low, turned out they never had me down for a rotation. They then said I would have to wait behind a few others for a roation. Meanwhile all the staff is just smoking and joking with no sense of urgency. Final receipt said oil change was done at 12:54. I will never go here again.

I waited 4 hours for a flat change on 1 tire. Woke up the next day my brand new tire was flat again. Waited over 2 hrs for them to fix it again and had to get the store manager involved just to be seen. The automotive manager here is a joke. Her and all the employees here in the automotive department have no idea what they re doing. My husband is in the army and not here I had no one else to help me. Do not go here for any of your car needs go somewhere else! The whole department is a joke and the lady In line in front of me was bawling her eyes out because one of the mechanics stole a credit card out her car!!!

Had 4 new Goodyear Assurance tires installed w/road hazard & lifetime rotation on wife's Lexus for less $. Excellent ride. Only took 2hrs. Great service from all. Thanks Wal-Mart. Recommend these tires!

Slow , the people working here do not acknowledge you even if your standing in a line of 6 people. Everyone seems annoyed when you ask them for help with anything, have any questions, or even just want to pay for services and leave. The manager of the tire and lube is hardly ever there so there is no one to express concerns to. This is mainly about desk people the Guys In the back are ok I am assuming they are just do their jobs.

Rolled up at 4:45pm to get a tire rotation and balance and was told I would not be serviced because they had too many cars. There were two cars in the bay, no one in line, and the tire machine bay was wide open. Oh, and they closed at 6pm. Car center staff was very rude.

So I went to the Pooler Walmart and I've received two different times they were out of my certain tire so I came to the one on a beach they informed me that in order for me to get a new tire I have to get all four new tires of the same type I understand the size but are we running a racket here. Something don't smell right to me

Orders the tires online to pick-up at the store. First the tires arrived days ago but the status didn't change until I talked to customer service. I was advice to go to the store to pick them up. My wifw went pick them up and they wouldn't give up becaise the status didn't said ready for pick, a technicality on their end not the customer. When i came home and check the tires I notice all that whoever installed the tires scratch all the rims. Stay away.

HORRIBLE! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN.It's ridiculous to come to the car center...they don't want the business. They are lazy and slow and can't think of enough reasons NOT TO DO ANY WORK. There was one car in the stall getting an oil change ...All I needed was a couple tires. Was told it would be hours AND they wouldn't even look at the car for tire size.SORRY FOR TRYING TO USE YOUR CAR CARE CENTER!GO BACK TO SLEEP!NO STARS. IF I COULD GIVE YOU MINUS STARS I WOULD
