On March 19, 2024 I took my 2017 Toyota Camry to Pep Boys in Savannah Georgia to get 4 new tires. When I picked up the vehicle, my wheel cover was put on incorrectly on my back passenger tire and the check tire pressure light was on. My tire light was not on prior to obtaining the new tires. The system read, check tire pressure and later read check tire pressure monitoring system. I assumed the light would go off because of the new tires but it did not.Wednesday, March 27, 2024 my light is still on. I then call Pep Boys to notify them of the light. I am asked to bring the car in for them to check the tire pressure. One of the workers in the back checks the pressure on all the tires and assures that the pressure is good in all 4 tires. He then states, they may have broken your sensor when they changed your tires because it was not picking up on his reader.Service manager Steven Henry then comes to my vehicle and checks behind the worker. He agrees something is not right and schedules for me to bring my vehicle back on Sunday March 31, 2024.After assessing my vehicle, it is determined that 1 of my 4 tire sensors need to be replaced. When I questioned Steven about the possibility of someone breaking it during the replacement of my tires, he responded no it is just coincidental. The sensor that is broken was the same sensor on the tire where the wheel cover was placed on incorrectly.Pep Boys (Steven Henry) stated that they could fix the sensor, but I would have to pay $169.55 for parts and labor. Why should I have to pay for something that was damaged in their care?I am not a mechanic, but I do pay attention to my vehicle. Why would 1 sensor go out and not any of the others. I truly believe that my sensor was damaged during the installment of my tires.

Very thankful for the staff at Pep Boys (Joe and Dominique) assisting me with a tire that was losing air due to a nail. I did not discover the problem with the tire until late on a Friday evening and they were getting ready to close within 30 minutes. However, they did not let that get in the way of repairing the tire and ensuring that it was safe to use. I was extremely grateful for their professionalism and that they went the extra mile to make certain all was back in fine working order before I left. I highly recommend them.

Took my car in on Friday for Saturday Lifetime alignment. Alignment machine was down for almost 2 months so local shop could not service my vehicle. I was informed to either go somewhere locally and pay them to do the work, wait for the repair or commute 2 hours to Charleston SC or Jacksonville Fl until repairs were made to the alignment machine. I picked up my vehicle on Sunday and still out of alignment as seen in the picture and pulled to the right instead of the left when I dropped it off. So along with excessive wear to my tires and vehicle from not being in proper alignment, I was have to make another appointment to have vehicle serviced for correction further adding more wear to my tires tread. Mr. Calvin has been great and very apologetic for the situation.

A week ago on Wednesday I called this location so that I could reschedule my original Friday morning appointment because of work. The next available appointment they had was Sunday afternoon which was fine. The associate on the phone also confirmed to me that the four tires I had ordered online were physically at the store and ready for install. I come in on Sunday for my appointment, and the associate working the desk checks in the back and comes out and says my tires are not there. I told him another associate confirmed the tires had arrived there the week prior. He asked if I remembered his name but I didn t. When I asked how it ended up that my tires were given away to someone else, he told me that the Black Friday sales have caused some fulfillment and processing issues. I don t understand how it s my problem if a company runs a promotion and then can t keep up with all of their orders. He offers me another set of similar Cooper tires for the same price and shows them to me and I got them installed instead because I had to get tires put on that day. Then before I give him the keys, he asked if I wanted to add the alignment to my receipt because it wasn t on it. I figured that in alignment was included in the installation process and if I m getting new tires, but it was actually another surprise $100 charge that I had to add on. Overall, I am entirely displeased with my experience as I payed more only to not even get the tires I ordered, and as I currently stand am not sure if I would use pep boys again

This was the best customer service experience we might have ever had! Got stranded while on vacation with a bad alternator and Joe and his team moved mountains to help us. They were kind, efficient, and made a bad day a lot better. I cannot recommend them enough!

Went by this morning because of my tire pressure keeps going low and Aaron did a great job with assisting me letting me know I may have a nail in the tire an can be checked and replaced at a reasonable price

I have always had amazing customer service and results from this pep boys! I was in a situation where I needed to replace my tire today and they were able to fit me into their busy schedule! Mr. Calvin has always been so helpful and today was no exception. I am truly grateful!

Horrible customer service. Guy that answered the phone told me I could place my order online when I tried explaining to him what I was told by a Bank/PepBoys Rep. He had the audacity to say your must be doing something wrong because you could just order your tires online. Never said I was having problems doing that he just assumed that because I called to place the order over the phone. You chose the job at Pepboys don't like it quit smh..

We had a tire loosing air. Joe was busy but helped us out of a major jam! I can't say enough about the stellar customer service and quick knowledgeable mechanical services we received. Would visit again!

I was driving back to North Carolina from Orlando Florida Saturday evening. I came off the interstate and Savannah and my back right we'll hit a pothole and blew the sidewall of my tire out. I called Pep Boys and they had a tire available but it was 15 minutes until closing time. I told them I was about 10 to 15 minutes away and that they were my only hope to get a tire changed and get back on my way home. When I arrived they went right to work and Calvin and Joe took great care of me. Calvin was so professional and Joe did the work so quickly. Because of these guys and their willingness to stay late and their hard work I am able to make it back home for Father's Day tomorrow! If you are in Savannah and you need any Tire work or anything else done please see the guys at Pep Boys!

We were on vacation and needed some brake work done, I made an appointment on line, was able to get in right away. Patricia and Butch at the front desk were amazingly helpful, found us the parts we needed to get us going. Antonio the service tech went over what we needed and what we could wait for until we get home, and was just a super nice person to deal with. If you are in Savannah and need automotive help, definitely give them a call. Great people and friendly service.

I stopped in to see if they would fix a leak in my 2010 Chevy truck. Evap code turned into a oder, then a drip. The truck is from Wisconsin, so the mechanic had an idea what he was facing. He declined as had other garages here in the south. Why 4 stars? Because he was honest, and I didn't want anyone taking on a project they couldn't handle. Rust sucks! I did find a garage with a former Yankee mechanic that took on the repair. If I were 1500 miles north, I could have done it myself. Again, I understand. Remember, proverbs, "God hates dishonest scales."

First of all, I was very disappointed in the time wait my appointment was at 10 o clock. I did not leave Pep Boys till about 4 o clock in the afternoon and all I wanted to do is change my two tires in the front that were bald and I bought it from a website to get it delivered. They re very unacceptable. If you make an appointment at 10 you should be in and out quickly not six hours later come on give me a break just to change two tires take six hours not acceptable Never will come here again in my life

This Pep Boys was recommended and booked through my fleet program. This is the review that I left for them after picking my car up today.They charged me for the Ride share Inspection, gave me the receipt, handed me the keys and said it was ready. I asked them where the inspection form that I provided was, and he wasn't even aware that I had requested and paid for the inspection. He asked for the keys back, but the car was right outside the door, so I went out to see if the technician - Ryan B.- had left it in the car. He did. Exactly where I left it, untouched. After another 30 minutes, they pulled my car back in because they had not actually done the work. 30 minutes later, they finally came out with the completed form. Secondly, based on the scrape marks on my wheel covers, and the fact that they seem to be in the same spot where I noted them before coming in, I am not confident that they actually rotated my tires, either. There is an inspection sticker for the oil change on my windshield. Hopefully they actually change the oil. I find this place to be untrustworthy, and show a complete lack of integrity in their work. I will not be returning here, and I would not advise any further Uber drivers to have their work completed here. Reading the Google reviews, it is one star after one star reviews for the past year or so. You might do a little more research on who you are endorsing to perform your services. I will tell everyone I know to avoid this Pep Boys.

The reason this was not a 5 start review was because of the appointment process and 3 hour wait for new tire installation. An appointment was made online for 10:00 am to get 4 new tires on my truck. I showed up 5-10 minutes early and was kindly greeted with a very warm and positive welcome by Mr. Calvin. In my experience and what I read online, a simple 4 tire replacement mounted and balanced should take roughly 1 hour. I scheduled my appointment for 10:00 am and my vehicle wasn t ready until 12:45ish (I was in my vehicle right around 1:00). I also had to ask for an update after 2 hours and at that point missed an important client lunch meeting. Mr. Calvin s attitude, along with the check in and check out process is why I didn t give 1 star. He was very kind and apologized for the wait but almost 3 hours for new tires with a scheduled appointment just doesn t make sense to me.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I've used this facility three times purely based on an auto warranty from Carvana. On multiple occasions they would pick up the phone and hang up just to keep it from continuing to ring. Kept my vehicle for 6 hours to balance tires, not answer the phone and when they finally answer the phone tell me, '"ya its been done for a while". Lastly, they failed to reinstall a brace after replacing my battery. Of course the bolts were lost on the way home.

Mechanic named Dave, he is a Mechanic in Savannah, Georgia to the Pep Boys on Abercorn Street, he was amazing. I was crying and so upset because I pay $7000 cash for this vehicle,and he made a list of everything that was wrong with the vehicle. I am currently talking to the person that I bought the vehicle from and he s going to try to make it right hopefully I ll get my money back and he can get his vehicle. Thank you Dave you are a wonderful.

This place was not very welcoming. It was extremely hot with dinghy chairs. Even though I had an appointment for 4:00, I was told my car would only be serviced if his 5:00 man showed up. I would have to wait 1 hour before I even knew if my car would be serviced. I only needed an oil change. Don't think I would go there again!

4:10pm 8/23/23. Waisted 15 minutes of my life I'll never get back waiting at the desk for someone to assist me for a flat tire. Lost my business walked out going to discount tire they're the best for tires.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. As all the previous reviews can show, they have terrible service. I booked a 4pm oil change appointment and wasn t even checked in until 4:25pm because there was no one at the counter. It s 5:10 and I was told it would be 40 more minutes. If you don t respect peoples time then don t accept appointments. If I hasn t paid in advance I would 100% leave. GENUINELY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS LOCATION IS STILL OPEN. On top of that, one of the mechanics buddies came in after I did and his car was serviced almost immediately. Absolutely RIDICULOUS.

Arrived at Pep Boys with an emergency low tire situation. Was checked in by April and serviced by James D. My scheduled appointment, which was made last night, was 9:30am. I checked in at 8:30am and was able to get my tires looked at and repaired in 1 hr. With the quick and efficient service, I was able to drop my family on time to their flight in Atlanta at 2pm! I appreciate the fast and efficient service! If I am ever in Savannah again and in need of car services, I will go to this location again!

had an appointment at 9am for tires, intallation and alignment. Dropped off the car and was promptly called when it was ready (around 4 hours later, they were extremely busy). Easy and friendly.

They made us waiting today , for 3 hrs, under the circumstances that the car stayed untouched in the shop, for at least half an hour. One of the workers, James, was not able to take down the tires or to put back the lug nuts! My husband saw it all from customer area. The equilibrium was made superficially, and corrected afterwards after huge discussion. They tried to say that they guarantee for their work, but dear Pep Boys, who guarantees for our lives when you make such mistakes? Secondly!The collegue of mr.James, the ' specialist' that gave us the warantee, put the front left tire on the clockwise direction, against the recommandation on the tire.Thirdly : they pulled out of the shop one car, a Wolkswagen Golf 5 and almost hit another car: a Hyundai. Good job!

The reason I m not rating 5 star due to the fact They switched out my brand new tires in put old tires on my car also the rotated my tires without my knowledge in they also buck me out of 110 cause they wasn t able to fix alignment by me being a female they tried to get over good thing my friend guy bought it to my attention if I would ve known or call they would ve kept my money THEY ARE BAD BUSINESS MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR TIRES BEFORE N AFTER be careful cause they will try to take advantage
