The most detailed explanations. PRICE IS PHENOMENAL. They are hard workers and very nice people. They took me in like their own. I truly felt like family with them. They honor our veterans. My car was taken care of with love and precision. With such a complicated transmission, 2014 Toyota Highlander, they not only found us the best deal considering time but they were even ABLE to REBUILD it. That is rare around the south. The warranty is the best out there. Walter, Greg and the whole team, Thank You and God bless you all!

While traveling for vacation we had unexpected transmission trouble. We had to take our vehicle to a completely unknown mechanic 10 hours from home, and was worried about the outcome for many reasons. That being said we could not have been better taken care or have received better service. We were only in town for a limited number of days but the shop in Savannah went above and beyond to diagnose the issue, locate and obtain the parts needed, and install them in time for us to return home. We were kept well informed of the status of our vehicle throughout our trip so we could still enjoy our vacation. If I could give them 10 stars I would! If you are in the area, and need transmission work done USE THEM!

Mr. Transmission/Akins and Bobb did a horrible job repairing my husband's Dodge Durango. Brad was his point of contact he called every week. This vehicle had to repaired two more times after they didn't repair it correctly the first time. In February of 2023, this was the 3rd time this vehicle went down. He told my husband they were waiting on a part for the vehicle to be repaired. Two months went by no part...two more months went by and no part. I told my husband he's selling you wolf tickets. Mr. Transmission/Brad finally decides to order another transmission. Mr. Transmission/Brad had my husband's vehicle for nearly 6 months. We spent over $7,000 in rental car and Uber fees due to not having a 2nd vehicle living in Port Wentworth. We both barely received any sleep due to figuring out how my husband was going to get back and forth to work because we exhausted our credit cards. The credit card expenses affected our credit. We had to put off looking for a house. We also had two seniors in high school, and we couldn't get them vehicles for college due to the financial bind Mr. Transmission placed upon us. He didn't care how this was affecting our household negatively. They did a horrible job repairing the Dodge Durango and caused us additional expenses we are now still paying. I would not recommend anyone using Mr. Transmission services. They do not repair vehicles with fidelity, and they allow customers to linger for months without a vehicle.

I was in town on vacation and had a minor transmission issue. After 2 other shops turned me away, I brought it to Mr. Transmission. I have never had better customer service than what I received from Brandt. He got me in and out within 20 minutes. Had a great conversation with him while waiting and thoroughly enjoyed the wait. I highly recommend this shop for any of your auto needs.

I was on vacation when my transmission went out. Called several places in the area who would not even look at it for a week. I called Mr. Transmission they looked at it that day. Great communication and amazing service. Would absolutely recommend them.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I highly recommend the professionals at Mr. Transmission in Savannah. On a recent trip my Tahoe decided to leave me stranded .Mr. Transmission was not my first call as I wasn t aware of them. I called the local dealership & was told it would be a month before they could look at it. Who goes a month waiting for a dealer to look at their car??????????I started searching near my location & found Mr. Transmission. They provided a tow to the shop & gave me a diagnosis the next day. As I suspected, I needed a new transmission. After an extensive search they could not locate one so they said they would rebuild mine. All this was on a Friday & I really needed to get back on the road. Brant said he would get me out by Thursday of the next week which really helped me tremendously. They did not try to oversell me on a part I did not need. Said mine was fine, much appreciated.The following Monday I arrived back in Savannah to pick up the car All finished and ready to go.I have driven several hundred miles this week and all is well.THANK YOU to Brant & his team for your professionalism & great work!Service: Transmission

Mr. Transmission was the best place to have my transmission fixed. The staff is very friendly and honest. During the repair, the mechanic found an issue with my CV Joint and corrected it on the spot! That's the kind-of service I like. The manager called me every step of the way during the repair. I would recommend having your transmission repaired here if you are in need. I will tell everyone to come here. Also, the manager is a character and very funny! He tells very funny jokes.Service: Transmission

This is above and beyond service. We were traveling from NC down to FL when our transmission failed at the border of SC and GA. We called about 4 or so other places and were told they couldn't help and didn't offer to point us in the right direction. We called Mr. Transmission and talked with Bryant (Smurf). He was so kind and told us he understood our situation and would be willing to help us out. We explained that we needed to be back home Monday. He said he would try his best, and sure enough, he was able to get us back on the road before 2pm on Monday. He even called Tuesday to make sure we had made it home safe and sound. I will gladly recommend anyone who needs transmission help to look here first before speaking with anyone else. I can not thank them enough.

Not only did they manager give us ride back to our hotel but he promised us done the next day and it was.. We didn't have to change our vacation plans at all... Definitely hands down best place to get work done without stress worrying about everything...Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
