Fantastic work! Staff is great and they definitely know what they are doing. I needed a starter built for a 2003 Harley, they knocked it out of the park. The cost was extremely affordable, especially when compared to the cost of a new one.I definitely recommend this business

I went to them after Yancey quoted me almost $1,000 for a Cat alternator. I dropped it off at DC just before 10am. I received a call around around 1pm telling me it was ready. I was impressed with them turning it around so fast. It looked like a new alternator and it was 1/4 the price that Yancey quoted. I would recommend them to anyone.

Cannot say enough good things about the fine people at DC Electric. I'm not a habitual reviewer, but this service was exceptional. We found ouselves at anchor many miles from civilization with a 40 lb dead starter on the main engine, pretty much immobilized. DC had one ready for pickup in under an hour and boat us picked it up and delivered it to our peaceful anchorage, the same day. I highly recommend these folks, they are 100% customer focused and were amazing to work with.

Absolutely amazing. Had an altenator go bad in my sailboat in Hilton head, through their resources they had it picked up for me and a new one brought to me. They know their stuff when it comes to altenators at least. Highly recommended, can't show my appreciation enough.

We were stranded in a boat on the Savannah River with a bad 45 year old starter. We were referred to these guys, and after bringing in the old starter, they fixed us up with a new starter in about 30 minutes. They had to change the nose to fit our bolt pattern. Which I doubt a regular auto parts store could. Super nice owner and manager.

Just drove down from Hampton SC over an hour and it's 430pm. Nobody home, Noone answers the phone. Had a starter to be rebuilt. Very disappointed!!

My favorite place to go honestly never new about it until I went to Napa auto parts for a brand new starter and they do there best to get it for you and takes only 25 minutes for a rebuilt assembly.

Had a 120 amp alternator on a diesel sailboat engine develop bad bearings, so brought it to DC Electric to repair. They changed out the bearings, but discovered the stator was burned and intermittent while testing it afterwards. Said don't worry, no charge! They found a new identical replacement for me, had it in less than 24 hours, set it up with the pulley from my bad alternator, and gave me a discount on the new one, as well. They also bench checked a pair of low output alternators I had as spares, and didn't charge me for that service, either. Really nice people there, both on the phone and in person. Good service!

Save your a$$ when you need an alternator or starter rebuilt for 18 wheelers or vehicles. I Highly recommend it if your in a bind.
