They are the best Muffler shop around. They are dependable, hardworking and very knowledgeable. Their service is unmatched. It s hard to find a company like this one anywhere, they are the only ones I trust. They honestly care about cars and they do a great job.

Tim and the crew here at Barry s are excellent. Had an exhaust roaring on me and was fearing the worst but thankfully Tim took care of it. I ve done 1500 miles since and it s still purring beautifully. For the convenience, price and quality of work I was happy. Cheers Tim.

These guys deserve every bit of recognition in the entire state of Georgia. I left Barry s Exhaust and Brake Center with a smile ear to ear. They cut my muffler off and put a dual tip exhaust on the side of my truck. It sounds way better and feels amazing. They are extremely friendly and have amazing prices. Whatever you do come down there and do yourself a favor by getting your vehicle ready at Barry s.

Best experience! I came in at 8am and was out at 10am with a new muffler and dual tailpipes on an old 1988 Chevy pickup. They immediately took my truck and inspected it and gave me an estimate. I couldn't have been happier with the result. Great service, friendly folks. I highly recommend.

Best value custom exhaust in Chatham CountyBarry's beat everyone else's price for a muffler delete and had my car on the rack 5 minutes after I pulled into the parking lot.Doesn't leak, fairly well mounted, and the people were super nice and accommodating.

Barry personally did some welding on my 2020 Mustang Gt. He was able to fit me in for some exhaust work and I was extremely happy with the work. He s personable and prices are very reasonable. I ll definitely be back again, and I drove an hour to see him. Two other shops in Savannah recommended him and I can see why!

I want to give a shout out to Barry, Tim and Chris I took my Audi Coupe GT for an exhaust replacement. They did a fantastic job. The system is on its original hanging system ( new rubber holders of course) the sound is exactly what I wanted, the exhaust tip coming on the rear is perfectly aligned. And everyone was so professional, helpful and made sure to understand want I wanted.If you are looking the perfect exhaust system this is the place.Thank you guys. This place was recommended to me for an exhaust noise. It was spot-on! Within 10 minutes of me walking in my vehicle was on the rack and diagnosed. They were able to replace a rusted flange in about 90 minutes and I was on my way. Friendly, efficient, reasonable folks.

Great service, had a self supplied Valved Mufflers put on my car here. Barry and his crew were able to turn the work around same day at a very reasonable price.I wish more shops in Savannah were like this! Ill be going here for any and all exhaust work.

I chose this place based off my initial conversation. My brakes were squealing. I spoke with Timmy. Very friendly and accommodating with being seen. Plus I like the fact that charge for the work, not for a glance. My distrust came when he told me he didn't hear any squealing. Inquired if the rotors had been changed. They had not, Just pads. 1st brake job and the rotors were in good condition. Told me the squealing was due to rotors needing to be changed out, cheap pads, or the weather and it's okay if they squeal. I knew that wasn't right. Left and took it to another. They no longer squeal. My vehicle is important to me. It wasn't to him. 1 star.

My exhaust got extremely loud seemingly overnight. Called at 4:15pm on a Friday, and they told me to bring it in and they would take a look. I had a rusted out pipe that needed to be replaced. They didn't have time to fix it that day as it was already twenty minutes after close, but he did a temporary fix for me (at no cost) and told me to bring it in on Monday. Brought it back, they had it fixed in 2 hours. Good, quick work at a good price. Would recommend.Service: Exhaust

Wonderful, I love Mr. Barry, Timmy and staff . He has changed my exhaust converter, some manifold leak and currently my brakes and rotors... These guys work on my complicated car every time I have a problem and takes great care of her. The price is right, reasonable and worth paying for.. I wish he could do it all bcuz I'd never take my car anywhere else .. I thank yall very very much.

Barry's was awesome! I went in with a minor repair to a muffler installed 16 years ago. Their work, both then and now, allows me to give them 5 stars. And to top it off, they did the work at not charge! The only thing that I could do was to buy lunch for the staff. Best muffler service I've found.

Excellent work on my accords exhaust, took it in to have a really loud aftermarket exhaust removed, had Barry install and weld a kit I had and did phenomenal work. Car sounds and runs great with no exhaust leaks, Barry and his crew were extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The service at Barry's Muffler & Brake Center was phenomenal! I went in thinking that I needed a new Muffler, but I was informed that I needed a new flex pipe. Elizabeth and Murray make you feel like you've known them for years! They were truly the sweetest. I went in for an evaluation to see how much it would cost and got my car fixed instead! I had class at 2 and needed to get back to ASU and Elizabeth personally drove me from Barry's and back. They had by far the best service I have ever experience when it comes to car maintenance. Thank you so much Barry, Elizabeth, and the rest of Barry's Muffler & Brake center!

Barry's Muffler and Brake is where I take all of my families vehicles for anything mechanical and for all maintenance. His staff are knowledgeable and professional. They do what they tell you they are gonna do when they tell you they are gonna do it. My wife recently had an emergency and her car needed a quick repair before she could take care of her mom. Barry and his crew dropped what they were doing to immediately take care of her. For that alone they truly earned five stars! Definitely one of best auto repair shops in the low country. Barry has a great reputation with the local hot rod community as well and some of the cars he has built are phenomenal! Trust them with all of your automotive needs, they will take care of you!

Background: Engine failed early last year and had it replaced under warranty at the Chevy dealership, but the new engine was very sluggish and car would take forever to get up to speed. Didn't bother bringing it back to the dealership because we were going nowhere due to COVID and was too busy at work. A few weeks ago I drove over a plastic traffic cone and a couple of days later noticed that the exhaust was noisy and hanging low. Brought my car to Barry's to fix that problem. Barry replaced the flex pipe but also examined the entire system and found lots of debris in the catalytic converter. He replaced that too and that solved the engine problem. Car is driving better than ever. Thanks a lot!!! Great service and very professional!Service: Exhaust

I was given personal service by Barry and after leaving my vehicle and the problem diagnosed I received a phone call with an explanation and estimate of what it would take to make my car safe to drive. After I authorized the work I was put on the schedule. I expected it would take a week but had my car back in 2-days. I received an explanation of care when I picked up the car and paid when work was done.

Great shop! I had Barry's do a cat-back duel exhaust with an H-Pipe on my 96 Mustang Gt and it looks and sounds great. They did the work a couple of years ago and I have not had a single problem. They have a great shop and you will get your money's worth. We send all of our customers who are looking for custom exhaust or just repairs over to Barry's because we know they will do it right.

After dropping my Nissan Maxima off to Barry's Muffler shop nearly a month ago, it took them a week just to tell me I need new mufflers which would cost me $350. After waiting 2 more weeks for a muffler to be delivered, I again was reminded that my cost will be $350. Finally, once my car was finished I had to keep calling Barry's because no one can find my ticket information anymore and when I got to the shop to pick my car up, I was now being told I owe them $508. This place is very unprofessional and they're lack of respect for your time and money is unprecedented. Will not recommend to anyone.Service: Exhaust

I went here because of the strong positive reviews. Don t fall for the internet profile. The people, including Barry, are very nice. However, the work is poor. I came in with a straightforward issue. It was half addressed, but two new problems followed. After leaving my car for days, they sent me on my way without fixing the problem they created and the one they discovered .Service: Exhaust

These guys know what they're doing. I got a Magnaflow with dual tailpipes on my 2006 Honda Pilot (It's unusual but it sounds and looks great). Barry had it finished within 3 hours after dropping it off, not to mention the price was a steal too! I'm very satisfied with their work and highly recommend Barry's for any custom exhaust work. You won't be disappointed!

This shop was referred to me. The people are very nice but the service is poor. I came in to get my thermostat replaced, but a few more new problems followed when leaving the shop. I returned my car the next day so they can fix the problems they created. After leaving my car for days, they sent me on my way without fixing the problems. They replaced parts that had nothing to do with my car issue and charged more than needed for the service.

I think this place only specializes in exhaust work. The last 3 years after having a brake and rotor job. Every year to date I have had them to replace rotors and pads. An on going squealing from brakes. Either the parts are used or work isn t quality. I recommend them for exhaust only.
