I took my car to the shop and the mechanic said that he could do the job at his house the next day at 8:30am since they were closed on sundays (I didn't think it was weird, plenty of mechanics do that). Sunday comes and he pushes the appointment to 1pm, which is still fine. but 1pm comes and I hear nothing ...he didn't respond until the next day. I can't come the next day because I have work, so he say's come next sunday. So I wait a week and then when I get to his house he says, its raining, can you come back another time. Why didn't he tell me before I drove over there?! This was a complete waste of my time.

There was screw on my tire and they fixed it, but it wasn t fixed completely. Tire s air was leaking and pressure kept going down after night.

Became aware of this business through reviews. They didn't disappoint. Finally found me an honest, great working, reasonably priced shop. Charged me half the price of three different shops to install assembled struts with springs. Then did an old school trick and picked me up in my whip as a courtesy and to test drive his own work. Amazing!

My vehicle was put on the sidewalk instead of in the garage where I left it. It incurred a ticket of $40 and the business hit the ticket under my front seat till it was two months late.

We had a Problem with our vw Bus on a Saturday night. Erick helped us out of this Problem and fixed our car to best conditions. Really good mechanic, thanks a lot for you and your teams help and managing all.Best wishes Wolfi :-)

This was hands down the best experience I have ever had at a mechanic!My boyfriend and I drove 18hrs down to savannah from Chicago. During our drive our back wheel started to make this scraping noise. We were struggling to find a reliable mechanic since we were from out of town, not to mention it was 3pm on a Friday. I called 6 different places and they all said they were closing soon and couldn t help. We finally came across Auto Works Unlimited. They were so sweet and told us it was no problem and to come in right away. Within 5 minutes Eric was able to diagnose the problem. We thought he would tell us to pick up the car in a day or two, but he started working on it right away. He was able to find the parts we needed and switched out my rotor and break pads in an hour! You can tell he is very intelligent and passionate about his work. His 40 years of experience shows that for sure!I ve had a family mechanic all my life, and they have never taken as good of care for me as Auto Works Unlimited did. We felt at home as they worked on our car. They have the BEST SERVICE! Not to mention their pricing was fantastic! You will not be disappointed here.This place is great people doing great work!Service: Brake service & repair

Had two of my cars for over 5 months. They sat in the street gathering tickets and getting filthy. He repaired one issue on one car that had several issues, he never got around to the other car at all. I saw people come in and get same day service. I just don't get it. Another day another broken promise. Incredible. Cannot and would not recommend to anyone for any reason.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Had a transmission replaced by Eric. Fairly fast service, they answer the phone, and everybody at the shop is friendly. The job was done correctly and for almost half the labor cost as my normal mechanic. Experience shows when you can do a job nearly twice as fast and not miss any details.No drama, just got good service for a good price.Service: Transmission

While my family and I were in Savannah from Cary, NC, for just the weekend, on Saturday morning, before I had to leave on Sunday morning, the brake fluid line/hose on my truck broke. After Eric called more than eight places that didn't have the hose, he found one place that was able to overnight it. On Sunday morning, the following day when the shop supposed to be closed, he came in to replace the hose for me. Eric and the other guys in the shop are very knowledgeable and professional. Eric is also a remarkable person with an amazing heart that moves/motivates me to be a better person in this world. A side note, this is the first time I write a review about a business.Service: Brake service & repair

Amazing! My car s alternator and battery terminals were busted. Eric picked up immeadietly and got my car in right away and I was shocked that it was ready so soon! Everyone was so kind at the shop and I felt really welcomed and cared for. Totally going back again!

Excellent shop and I will be back. Responsive to phone calls, took me in that morning without an appointment even though they looked very busy. They replaced my headlights for a reasonable price after some damage to the bumper, and were kind and helpful!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I came here because of a batter issue and instantly Erick knew what was wrong! He was so kind to me the entire time and got me in right away!! I will now be using this shop every time. I highly recommend them for your car needs!!

Came in a clutch. Fixed my mirror in not even 40 minutes and worked day of. Wonderful guys, great price too. Would definitely recommend if you have a Lexus or a Toyota

I was told with confidence from a mutual friendthis was place to go! Hmmm The owner is (Eric) very fresh, flirtatious and unprofessional. The issue with my was that it would get stuck in park. He had my car all DAY.... He informed he could return my money, however he " didn't have time" to put my car back in it's original state. So I had drive my car hom,e leave it ON (in park with the key ignition. This caused my battery to die in addition to hitching an expensive ride to work.I would NOT recommend this business, for any reason not even to pump air in a tire.

Never will I use another mechanic Eric is the best and told me exactly what was wrong with my car and had me in and out in 5 minutes that someone told me it would be something other than it was saved me some money

Fair prices always they know what they are doing. All under the guidance of Eric the owner. Very friendly place and people. He's very smart and kind. But always busy but will always fit you in with great diagnoses. Great place to take your vehicle.

Came to Savannah for a quick trip and started leaking coolant. Looked like a bad radiator but Eric took a look and found a bad hose. He had it fixed by the next morning. Great work, highly recommend.

I took my car to auto works for a clutch and rack and pinion job. They did a good job there was kind of a hiccups on my part because I got the wrong Parts but they were willing to work with me. Whenever I got my car back the steering wheel was crooked from the rack and pinion and there was no transmission fluid in my transmission, they told me this and I had to drive from Savannah all the way to Hardeeville with no transmission fluid or maybe a cup of transmission fluid in my car. But it took four and a half quarts of transmission fluid. And then I had to take it to get an alignment at Firestone which cost me $200. So all in all my clutch and rack and pinion cost $750 which was great but if they would have finished it all the way through that would have been better. I still would take my vehicle to Auto works but not to expect too much extra but all in all they did what I asked them to do put on my rack and pinion and change my clutch anything extra that's on you LOL but overall I'm satisfied

Cheap repair fees to attract customers, but for a 4 hours repair time to change a part of my car, they kept it for 4 damn weeks. Once they finished it, they told me more fees that didn't exist. I took my car and all DANGER lights in the dashboard were ON. I ignored those lights because i was broke and i didn't want to return to this damn repair shop. Today 7/9/2018, my car's engine caught on fire. If i had money, i would've taken my case to court. If you really care about your car, don't go there.

TERRIBLE is not even the word. This is my first time EVER doing a Google review. I just had to. I had my car towed to Auto Works as I was referred by a friend of the family. When the tow truck arrived, the driver was told to just put my car on the side of the street in front of the shop. In the beginning Eric Riley told me it was the fuel pump and he should have it ready by the next day. The next day came and I was told he didn t have a chance to get to it yet and they wouldn t be open again until Tuesday which would be 2 days later. Tuesday came and he still had not fixed anything. Told me it wasn t the fuel pump after all and he was trying to figure out what it was. He said he needed a couple of days to run tests because he thought it was the wiring. I called back every few days for a few weeks and EVERYTIME I spoke to him he needed a couple more days. No one ever called to give me any updates. A whole month had passed and I received a letter in the mail stating that I had a parking ticket placed on my car because it was in a street sweeping zone. NO ONE from the shop notified me of the ticket. I left my car there on May 17th. The ticket had been there since May 23rd. When i found out about it, it was June 16th. I called and spoke to Eric to ask about it and he said it MAY have a ticket on it because my lot is full. I was LIVID at this point because not only has my car not been diagnosed or fixed but it had a ticket on it from where he wanted it to be put and no one at the shop had the decency to notify me nor offer to pay the ticket that included late fees. I immediately had my car towed back to my apartment complex. When I saw my car later that night when I got off of work, it looked like it has been ripped apart. It was not how it was when I left it at the shop. I have a 4-door Chrysler Sebring. My backseat had been ripped up and the under body of the car was exposed. The top to the engine was under the backseat. Not under the hood where it belonged. Underneath the hood was dirty rags, bottles, little boxes that car parts came in and parts that had been taken off and were not put back on, along with tools that were just lying there.This is only half of my frustration. I wouldn t recommend them to my worst enemy. Save yourselves the pisstivity.

Eric is MY mechanic...bottom line. To the Street Committee... STOP spreading rumors about MY car being at AutoWorks. My frustration was with the rebuild and shipping of my motor... cross country.. MY mechanic cannot do anything without the part. I refuse to let folks destroy a relationship without addressing it. When you see me rollin know that the engine was replaced at a fair price by ERIC at AutoWorks!!!

Eric is a very kind man who saved a couple of comedic WI gals from the Savannah heat. He worked quickly for a fair price. He even had his friend, Tator be our Uber driver. Thanks for keeping us cool.

Paid for a oil change new coil pack for a cylinder 3 misfire and they changed the number 5 instead .they didn't do the oil change or replace the spark plugs but I was charged. I asked them to put in a new knock sensor which also wasn't done. I contacted the owner and he threw me and was very racial to me. I am now suing him and the business.
