Our 2013 LR4 started acting up on the way between FL and SC on 95. After calling 1/2 dozen different auto repair shops that were either closed, didn t work on exotics , or couldn t help us until next week, we found Kyle at Autosport of Savannah. Kyle was great and really knew his way around the car. Within an hour he had replaced a spark plug and coil, filled us up with oil and had us on our way. If you need someone who knows his way around a wrench - go see Kyle.

I have taken my Volvos to Autosport specifically, Ted for 20 years. I took my daughter's car last summer. KYLE, Ted no longer owns Autosport, was paid to replace the timing belt, head gasket, and serpentine belt and arm. He had the car for a month. He charged me $2700. Within a week of getting the car back, it started squealing again. I took it back he had it for another two weeks. The car broke down a few weeks ago. Took it to Eurotech in Midway, highly recommend. Kyle used the wrong sealant on the head, which by the way, has no gasket which he charged me for. This caused oil to leak fouling out the spark plugs and engine coils, $2000 repair. It was also discovered that the bolts were broken that held the serpentine belt in place which Kyle said he repaired twice! That will cost me another $500. Autosport is no longer a reputable business. He refuses to communicate with us or offer a reasonable solution to the problems his lack of knowledge and honesty have caused. I plan to take Kyle to court to recoup my losses and file a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!! I took my car over summer, waited nearly a month to have it "fixed". He put the wrong sealant on the head gasket which has caused me more issues than I had before and MORE MONEY. He also claimed he replaced my belt, that also never happened. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!!!!

My wife was visiting our daughter from Idaho when she had a problem with our Porsche Cayenne. Before we took it here, my son, an ASE master mechanic, diagnosed the problem as a bad PCV valve. This is not an easy fix on a Cayenne as it involves taking off and replacing a valve cover and you have to remove a lot of other parts to make that happen. My wife was in a time crunch and needed the car fixed quickly, I'm glad we found Kyle and his team. He confirmed my son's diagnosis and worked us in and was very sympathetic to our dilemma. Even during a hurricane he worked late after hours to get my wife back on the road and his invoice was very reasonable! I would highly recommend his shop for work on your European vehicle, he's a good guy, and knows what he's doing. If I could give six stars I would, thanks Kyle!

They are thieves and very unprofessional. They charged me over $1100.00 for new replacement parts which I paid for up front. They never delivered the parts and after investigation, my Range Rover simply required $10.00 to clean my existing part. I would never refer nor attempt to use their services again. Surely Savannah can do better.

I have only dealt with the shop portion briefly, but this is about the actual dealer down the street. HORRIBLE! I purchased a vehicle from there for my son to drive to school and home and apparently it was sold to the dealer and sold to me as a private owner. I have yet to get a receipt of purchase, I provided money orders and let them keep the receipts as they asked too, the car is no longer working and it s only been about 3 months. The timing belt and a variety of other issues was bad when the car was sold to me and that s unfortunate! The owner and I got into a disagreement but he didn t actually sell me the car. I just think that they shouldn t take on private seller vehicles that they can t vouch for and then resell them! Bad for business and I will never buy a car on Montgomery street again. I should of known better! Now I m out of 6 grand and have to purchase a new vehicle all in the course of 3 months... sad and bad for business and integrity!

Taking my vehicle to Autosport was probably the worst experience I ever had with a auto repair business. The error codes in my vehicle came back about an hour after I left and he told me I'll need to pay more money to get it resolved. Why would I pay more money when you couldn't fix it or diagnose the problem the first time? It was a most definitely a waste of time and hard earned money. The owner is very disrespectful, unprofessional, and impatient and the environment is dark and tense. I would never go back nor recommend this "Take The Money and Run" operation to my worst enemy!

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE EVEN IF IT IS FREE.I took my VW for a transmission replacement. Kyle the owner promised he ll fix my car under a week. I paid $1600 down payment, after a couple of weeks running me around I found out he has not ordered any transmission for me and instead claimed he worked on my engine (I DID NOT ASK FOR ENGINE WORK) engine didn t need any work done. He stopped answering the phone and when I showed up at his workshop he flashed his gun and yelled at me to no show at his workshop until he calls me.I called the COPs on him, I was surprised to know that COPs knew him by name and they get called on him at least once a week.I have an ongoing civil case against AUTOSPORT OF SAVANNAH. Save yourselves from this grifter and con artist.Service: Transmission replacement

Absolutely the best shop I have ever dealt with. He is a great guy and knows his stuff!! I was from out of town and was in serious need of help, and he took care of me right away. I was able to leave town without skipping a beat with my car running flawlessly. They kept me updated during the repair process and where very easy to contact. He gave me future suggestions and genuinely cared about my car. Best shop in the world, will be staying in touch for future suggestions!!

Love these guys. They do quality work at fair prices. Did all the control arms and water pump on my BMW in a day. Wouldn't trust my car to anyone else. They never keep you waiting and it makes routine maintenance a breeze. Highly recommended if you have the German car disease.

THIS IS THE WORST SHOP EVER! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM!!!!!!! It took 8 months to fix our car and cost us $20,000 which nothing is fixed!!! He even played drama just because he doesn t want to fix the car!! Everything is insane and now I learned a lesson.

Experienced technicians that know how to diagnose problems and repair them. They also have the right equipment to complete the job with. I was very satisfied with the engine put in my mercedes-benz. It surprised me that they put the engine in my car in 3 days. And with the price I was most satisfied.

Great business. I drive a MINI Cooper, and having work done at Autosport by far beats the cost of towing to the dealership and the high dealership service rates. I've had them work on several areas of my car, from something as small as reading and clearing fault codes to something as big as swapping the turbocharger. Every experience I have had with them has been excellent; the work is always done very well and quickly, and they never try to sell me anything I don't need. Also, the personal customer service is great; I've been able to clarify any questions or concerns I had directly with the technicians. They even gave me a ride back downtown when I dropped the car off for service! I would recommend this place to anyone.

It was truly a blessing for me to have them be able to fix my 2005 Jaguar 4.2 S-type. But of course like most foreign vehicles, parts are expensive and because of European automobile craftsmanship. The labor is very expensive. The owner and service staff were very pleasant to do business with. I will am

My husband and I have taken our VW GTI here several times. Always happy with the outcome, the staff are friendly and the mechanics are transparent and informative. On one occasion we were very happy to have come here for a second opinion after having the dealership tell us we needed a several thousand dollar repair for an oil leak, which we found out was basically non-existent and could be addressed with some preventative measures and regular maintenance. Highly recommend.

Took my f30 in for a oil leak I was told it was fixed and they also charged me for a oil change I didn t want or need after Telling them I didn t want it done. Checked the engine after driving it home, some oil residue figured it might ve been old. Nope still leaking oil fairly heavily. it s like they charged me 700$ just for a oil change.....

My 2007 328xi started to make strange noises 700 miles from home the day before I had to leave Savannah.Autosport not only diagnosed the problem correctly (worn serpentine belt tensioner), and fixed it the same day for a reasonable price.Ted, the owner, then went above and beyond, making a few calls to find me a good independent shop back home in NJ.When talking to him, it was clear that he has great knowledge and passion for his business - I can highly recommend it to anybody.

I would recommend anyone with a BMW to come here! my car was repaired in less than 5hrs, he had the part on hand and I didn't have to go broke trying to pay. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicles they service and not just about taking your money like some of the others.

Terrible experience, brought BMW to have starter replaced, upon picking car up there were error lights illuminated that were not lit when the car was dropped at the shop--- the tech DID not offer to recheck his work but rather sought to deflect the mistakes made by citing other issues caused by what was at best careless work that caused the crank position sensor to be unseated. THIS created five error codes. After my son and I literally wasted several hours of our time searching the web to figure the nature of the problem, my son decided to drop the splash pan and troubleshoot the work himself. Surprisingly, the problem, as we figured, was the loose crank sensor--- we resolved it-- all of this could have been resolved if the shop had offered to put the car back on the lift and retrace the steps taken. NO EFFORT WAS MADE TO CHECK THE WORK.......do not take your car to this shop. Ted, the owner, is very understanding and pleasant, the work performed at the shop, however, needs to be done in a more professional manner.

Had my car serviced at Autosport, and because the price to fix it was so expensive, it sat there from September 2017-January 2018, when I finally picked it up, it had a vibration that progressively got worse while driving.I thought it was flat spots on the tires, or wheel bearings going bad, but once I had someone watch the wheels while I moved the car, they saw that the wheels moved on their hubs.It turns out that the mechanic at Autosport did not tighten any of the lug nuts!I m lucky I didn t lose a wheel. When I tried to get in touch with the owner, he was never available and none of my (many) messages were returned.

I moved to Savannah in December of 2012 with my 2008 BMW 530. Coming from Atlanta where it was sometimes hard to find a trustworthy repair facility it was a sigh of relief to find Ted and the "gang" at Autosport of Savannah. Ted was very helpful with questions I had and even made suggestions over the phone! Truly one of Savannah's gems - Autosport is a great place to have work done.Did I mention they work on British stuff too?!

Inspected a vehicle I had considered buying and did a great job. They gave me the news that was contrary to what was advertised and kept me from making an expensive mistake, and even gave me a break on the inspection price because they found a couple big problems very quickly and easily. Thank you so much folks!

I really can't say enough good things about the guys at AutoSport.Today I was driving down Montgomery and my engine shut off, rendering my brakes completely useless. This was HORRIFYING so I pulled off and realized, hey I was across from a mechanic. Bad but good luck? I walked in and immediately Ted informed me of some potential issues. He picked up a gas can and walked across the street to my car to help me.Ted not only gave me what gas the shop had, but he drove me to get more and then proceeded to give me a vehicle diagnosis for free (I have been charged $75 for this at Savannah Auto...).The folks at AutoSport EXEMPLIFY helpfulness. I really could not believe how far they went out of their way to help me in such a stressful situation. I am a student and as someone who isn't local I have felt taken advantage of by a number of dealerships and other local mechanics.I have found my new go-to car mechanic and would send anyone I know to AutoSport in a heartbeat

spent over $10,000 to get my son's BMW fixed. every time i got it back from them, something else went wrong. seemed like NOONE knew what was wrong or even how to fix. last time in, it was the fuse panel. 2 weeks later the car caught on fire. under the dash at the fuse panel. have told many and still do, not to carry it there. sorry, but thanks for nothing.
