Absolutely fabulous! 10/10 would recommend and go again. Scott was our guide and he pointed out lots of spots along the way that we should plan to come back to, like a state park and another trail that led to waterfalls. I thought it was nice that he was sharing with us recommendations of things to do in the area once the wine tour was over. As for the actual tour, we went to four wineries, each was awesome and a little different than the last. We loved being able to visit our friends and not be worried about the drive.

We had a lovely, seamless experience using the VIP Southern Tours service for my friend's bachelorette party!The transportation and our driver were great! Scott was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of at each location.The lunch options were also great and delicious!I'd highly recommend using this company.

It was an amazing experience. We did the private VIP tour , the driver was great and knowledgeable, picked us up on time , even help out our wine bottles we purchased in the car and opened our doors for us to get in and out the car , felt like a true VIPs .The service. The wine selection. The views. The tours were the best we ve ever had. Would definitely be back and bring friends.

We splurged for a two person private wine tour and it was worth every penny. Our tour guide has an encyclopedic knowledge of the area and we got to see some sites off the beaten path we would have never known to look for. It was planned out perfectly, our guide was extremely personable, the day was planned out meticulously, and we can't wait to go again!

I had previously booked a exceptional wine tour from their N Ga locations. Based on that experience I booked wine tour they now offer pick up from Canton/Woodstock area. Unfortunately it was not at all like my previous experience. The guides are a retired husband and wife pair. While they are very nice the way they run their tour felt to all of us like a grade school field trip and they were our teachers. I would say that they would be great tour guides for people their age. Our group ages varied from late 20 s to early 60 s. It s not the type of tour we wanted or expected. Thankfully the wineries were superb and we all made the best of it.

Outstanding experience from booking through the tour. Customer service is a priority for this company and it shows. Charles was very informative right after booking. Our driver for the day was John and he was very knowledgeable and provided a great atmosphere for the day. I would highly recommend going on one of their tours.

Oh my goodness! You are in for a treat if you are booking a wine tour with VIP Southern Tours!!! The experience was surreal!! Eddie was a our tour guide and we had a perfect day!!! I highly recommend this tour company! The gourmet Gluten-free lunch was superb and all 3 vineyards were beautiful and offered amazing wines and wine slushies that I did not know we had in Georgia!

Went twice with VIP - once with the girlfriends and once with my husband and our friends for his birthday. Soooooo awesome! They picked us up from the cabin in Cleveland and dropped us off at the end of the day-NO DRIVING FOR US! I thought the box lunch was going to be a boring dry sandwich but it was delicious! We had lunch on the beautiful grounds at CeNita winery and the views are so pretty! The more wineries that we visited, the more fun we had! Kudos to the driver who was not only very knowledgeable but put up with us with a smile. I have used many wine tour companies before and this one was by far the best! :-D

VIP Southern Tours provided an exceptional experience for our sister s weekend together! We celebrated two big birthdays over the weekend. My sister who turned 60 and niece who is now 21! Eddie, our tour guide and driver provided exceptional care with attention to detail! Eddie had packed our picnic lunch, cooled drinks of water and soda and was so polite! My niece has special needs, and at each vineyard Eddie went above and beyond to provide extra care with Sophia s safety and accommodations. He was extremely thoughtful of all us which only enriched our day and experience at each vineyard we visited! We had the very best experience and were able to create memories that will last a lifetime. I booked VIP Southern Tours for a private tour for my wife and myself for her birthday and it was amazing. We spent the day touring two wineries and went on a short hike to a beautiful waterfall. The entire day was so special and our guide could not have been better. Charles was entertaining he was patient and extremely helpful.I'd absolutely go on another tour with this group.

I went for my birthday and Scott plus the whole staff was amazing from beginning to end! I lost my phone at one point and Scott even drove back to the previous winery to try and find it. They even called all of the wineries the next day to try and locate it for me. We finally found it with their help! Truly felt like a VIP! We will definitely be using them again. Customer for life!

The tour it self was okay as Rusty, our tour guide was such a kind gentleman and even went out of his way to capture some beautiful photos for us. My biggest reason for the 2 stars is because I made it very aware to the company when placing our lunch order ahead of time that a person in our group had a nut allergy and I was told that it would be handled and when we got our lunch on the tour she had macadamia nut cookies for her dessert. When we asked Rusty if he was aware he had no idea and had to call and to make sure the rest of her food was even safe to eat and I would imagine it made her feel very uncomfortable.Second thing, at two of the wineries we toured we were seated in overflow in the warehouse areas and missed out on all the gorgeous views and live music which is half of the experience. I could have saved 600 dollars and just went to the winery my self and enjoyed it more. Seemed awfully unplanned for a reservation I booked months in advance and payed good money for.All in all the wineries were fantastic with great customer service and we made the best of our trip,I will be returning to them. I was just really disappointed with the tour company. UPDATE: The owner personally reached out to me and apologized about the whole situation and invited me to come back to give them another chance. I thought that was very generous of her and I appreciate them taking accountability and reaching out. No one is perfect and I understand people make mistakes. Their customer service has been great. Will update again in June after the tour.Service: Group tours

We had such an amazing experience with VIP. Charlie went above and beyond with making us comfortable and have such an amazing experience. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the different wineries. Very fun, knowledgeable, and personable! Would highly recommend VIP and Charlie to anyone!

Our group had a blast tasting wines at three wineries. Our driver, Jim was very nice and accommodating. He kept a constant watch over our group and anticipated our needs by offering to take pictures, serve us water and/or snacks and playing great music on the bus. Overall, we loved the experience and we plan to do it again. That being said, the consensus our group was that our first winery was the classiest and provided the best experience. The subsequent wineries were progressively less enjoyable. We understood the crowds were an issue because of the holiday weekend so we made the best of those lesser appealing wineries. Take a group of 8 to 10 and you will not be disappointed!Services: Private tours, Group tours

VIP Southern Tours deserves 10 stars, we had a great experience from the reservation process with Tabitha, transportation with Rusty, to the Winery tours. I highly recommend you to request a tour to Serenity Cellars, Eduardo's education about wine is unforgettable. Rusty (tour bus driver) was on-time for pickup and provided excellent customer service. The bus was very clean and comfortable. Tabitha communication through the reservation and scheduling process was excellent.Services: Private tours, Group tours

My husband and I scheduled a public wine tour for our honeymoon. When there wasn't enough people signed up, Christina and Charles worked with us so we could still experience the wine tour for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time on the tour; the vineyards were beautiful and the wine was wonderful! What made this tour so pleasant was our guide Kevin! He knew so much about the area and the vineyards, and was awesome to talk to! Christina and Charles also gave us a handwritten note and deserts to congratulate us on our wedding! We did a 40th Birthday wine tour for my husband. We really enjoyed our guide, Eduardo! he was punctual and knowledgeable and shared fun stories with us throughout the tour. I loved all the local vineyards and the brewery that we checked out. Everyone is so laid back and the scenery is spectacular! Thanks to VIP Tours for making it a great time!Service: Private tours

We booked a wine tasting with this company for my bachelorette party and it was AMAZING! They picked us up at our AirBnb and we loved our driver Rusty. He was such a safe driver and so helpful and friendly the entire trip. He also helped make sure the wine bottles we purchased were secured in the van and helped us offload them when we got back to our rental. The food provided for lunch and the charcuterie boards we ordered were also super delicious and filling. We also had bottles of water provided to keep us hydrated.Each winery we went to had an amazing selection and the views were awesome! The staff at the wineries was knowledgeable and really helped make the experience so much fun.Could not recommend this tour enough!

Overall an amazing experience!! Our driver, Scott, was AWESOME and very attentive. The lunch provided, especially the sandwiches, was delicious. The views at The Cottage we're absolutely breathtaking.

This was my first wine tour and I absolutely loved it! The tour bus was so comfortable and luxurious. Our tour guide did a great job explaining the wineries to us and then he personally came by and chatted with us during the wine tasting. The wineries themselves each had their own style and charm. I found some wine I really love, and will have to visit again soon. Overall, a truly wonderful experience.

VIP Southern Tours is the most sought after wine tour in the North Georgia wine country and it shows! We even booked a wine tour for my in-laws to loosen them up and have a little fun. They enjoyed themselves thoroughly and had a great time on the bus! From start to finish I'm extremely satisfied with VIP and recommend Christina and any of her drivers!

Great company to work with! We had 13 girls for a wine tour in Dahlonega and all the coordination help & suggestions leading up to the tour was fantastic. And our driver, Chuck, was top notch! It was so nice having a day out with friends and having everything taken care of for you! Will definitely use again.

OMG, where do I begin! We enjoyed our wine tour so much. Charles was our tour guide, we visited 4 local wineries and we were in awe with them all! Each winery had it s own sweet charm! Charles was so accommodating and he shared so much information with us regarding the area and the wineries! There were 5 in our party and we had so much fun making our latest memory together! From having our gourmet lunch @ The Cottage while taking in views of the mountains, to listening to the best music on our van, too much fun!If you want to treat family or friends to a beautiful experience, contact VIP Southern Tours immediately! VIP Tours provides very luxurious Mercedes vehicles for these wonderful wine tours. This is the second one that I have been on and thoroughly enjoyed both. Our driver Eddie was courteous and very "wine" knowledgeable; not only about wine but the history of wine in Georgia. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon or any afternoon! Thank you everyone

This was worth every penny! My group of 11 girls had an absolutely fantastic time with VIP Southern Tours. Our driver, "Santa Lou" was the highlight of the day and went out of his way to make the day special. (Also, it was really fun to watch people ask for his photograph. He is THE Santa Claus of the area!) Please do yourself a favor if you are heading up in the Helen/Cleveland/N.GA area. and book one of their tours.

I just wanted to take the time to write a review. We had the BEST TIME thanks to Stacy for organizing this for us and Aaron's chauffeuring. I booked a tour for my best friend's Bachelorette. We wanted a full on winery day and one of the places I chose was actually a tasting room. Stacy went ahead and switched it out to her favorite winery and at the end of the day, it was everyone's FAVORITE! She made the booking and planning so easy for us! Aaron picked us up at our cabin doorstep, cooler ready to go, stopped at the store for us, drove us around for the very long day we dragged out, and even gave us a little history tour through the woods and waterfalls before taking us home. Exceptional service and one of the best days we could have imagined for the wine tour. The wineries we went to were all amazing: Cavander Creek (the best), The Cottage, Yonah Mountain, and Kaya Vineyards in that order! Thank you guys for the amazing trip! Definitely will be back and recommend your company.

This was a super disappointing customer service experience. The ticket information had the name of a business that did not match the address. I did not check. I just put the name into Google Maps and off we went. Turns out that address is 30 minutes from the start and was an hour from our starting point. I called the business and she said that had never happened before. We were too tired to drive another 30 minutes. She said she would take care of it. We were at a lovely tasting room so we decided to stay. The owner told us this happens ALL the time! I assumed that we would be able to resolve it but after several emails and calls later I am having to take this up with my credit card company. There is no reason to have the name of a business that does not match the address. The correct name or a link to the starting point is all that it would take. Then to lie about it and not be willing to take responsibility is super disappointing. So I am not sure if the tour would have been good, but I know that I will not be doing business with this company again.
