We recently had our wedding at Stovall House, and stayed at the inn all weekend long. We can't say enough what a wonderful experience it was. Jeff, Erin, and Drayton took amazing care of us, and the event was wonderful and exactly what we hoped. We look forward to returning to Stovall House again and again to revisit this beautiful inn and our memories, and highly recommend Stovall House for either a relaxing getaway or a big event!

My wife and I just got married there. Our experience was phenomenal! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Jeff, Erin and Drayton went above and beyond to make sure we had the best weekend. Erin's cooking was delicious! The rooms were amazing, and the overall vibe was everything we wanted. We couldn't be happier! We definitely plan on coming back!

We couldn't have picked a better place to escape the big city for our wedding anniversary! Jeff, Erin and Draton exceeded our expectations in service, the historic home was beautiful and the setting is perfect. The breakfasts were exceptional. A deep wraparound porch with rocking chairs, chirping birds with a view of mountains and perfect rooms.

This place is a gem tucked away in the hills of GA. From the moment we arrived they made us feel at home. From the little extras like a map of the area where they circled the things that we said we liked to do, bonfires at night with s mores, to the amazing breakfasts; they ve thought of everything! They are surrounded by beautiful farmland it would be a perfect place for a wedding!Nearby activities: So much to see and do! There is a pottery museum, hiking trails, walking trails, local pottery shops, antique stores and the city of Helen itself.

My Husband & I just stayed at the Stovall House - we were both first timers in a bed & breakfast. Wow were we pleasantly surprised. The home is just so quaint, historic, clean and cozy. The property and views were breathtaking. Not only was the house just perfect but the service and the kindness of Erin, Jeff and Drayton made it superb. We loved our stay so much we plan to bring the family back in October.

Wife and I had an incredible time at the Stovall House. First of all, the property is absolutely beautiful, and photos do not do it justice. The house is well-maintained and has a lot of character. At first I thought the skylight in the room would be a little bit of a nuisance, but we ended up loving it! You can open it and get that fresh air with all the sounds of nature. Peeking out of the window, you have a spectacular view, and we even saw a Scarlett Tanager (gorgeous bird, not common to see) on a tree just a few yards away. Highly recommend spending your evenings at their firepit and get a great view of the sky full of stars and fog roaming by the mountains. Sunrise was also beautiful and worth experiencing even if you just return to bed after and later return for the top-notch breakfast that Erin prepares. Jeff is the consummate host, warm and full of great recommendations tailored to your vibe and what you want to get out of your stay in the North Georgia mountains. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway, and I can't recommend this place enough!

My husband and I recently spent an evening at The Stovall House Inn during a brief visit to Helen, GA. It is a beautiful home with lots of rich history. Erin and Jeff were such wonderful hosts and gave great suggestions for things to do around the area.We really enjoyed ourselves and were able to rest and just disconnect from the crazy for a bit.Thank you so much Jeff, Erin, and your staff. We will most definitely be back.

My family stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. I was looking for an affordable place that allowed pets and The Stovall House exceeded my expectations. The owners, Jeff and Erin, were very welcoming, the property is gorgeous, and the breakfast was killer! I would love to stay here again. It was the perfect retreat away from the crowded downtown Helen, yet only short drive away from all the attractions.

My Wife and I had the pleasure of hosting our destination wedding weekend at The Stovall House in September. When I say wedding weekend, I mean a full weekend! We hosted our rehearsal dinner and a welcome party for all of our guests. To say that the experience exceeded our expectations would be a huge understatement. In fact, we had originally only planned to host our rehearsal dinner there, but about 5 weeks before our big day, our other lodging accommodations fell through. We had to scramble to figure out where we'd stay and host this other event. This scheduling problem turned out to be the biggest and best blessing. We could not have asked for a better time at the Stovall House! Not only was the setting and scenery idyllic. But Jeff, Erin, and the rest of the staff were incredibly warm and gracious. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and the morning breakfasts were a culinary delight. Our guests were blown away with how perfect everything went. Jeff and Erin both worked tirelessly to make sure every little detail that my Wife had worked so hard to plan, came to fruition without a hitch. With this being our first stay and a Bed and Breakfast, the bar has been set incredibly high. The memories we made at The Stovall House will last a lifetime. Jeff and Erin and the rest of the staff truly know how to provide a world class experience and I cannot recommend The Stovall House highly enough. We most definitely look forward to going back and enjoying the wonderful hospitality they provide.

We felt pampered from the minute we arrived. The house is beautiful and a perfect balance of updated and vintage. We enjoyed the swing in the yard overlooking the mountains and the fire pit at night. Jeff was so friendly and made sure to suggest places to see and foods to eat. Breakfast was delicious and served on a porch with a beautiful view! Close to hiking and great shopping in the Sautee area.

We found the Stovall House by accident and it was our best find. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The view is outstanding! It felt like home. Jeff and Erin were great! They both came out after breakfast and the conversation was pleasant and fun. Jeff helped plan our days and suggested eateries. We weren't disappointed. Erin's breakfast was out of this world. It was all organic and we looked forward to it everyday. Delicious!! We didn't want to leave. It was the highlight of our vacation and we will definitely be back soon even though were from NJ. This place deserves more then 5 stars and we recommend it highly.David and Pat

Our stay at the Stovall House was exceptional. It was our first stay in a B&B setting and we now know what the fuss is all about!! Jeff and Erin were the most consummate hosts they made us feel at home, and provided a true concierge experience. Each day began with the most amazing, freshly-prepared organic breakfasts, which we enjoyed on the enormous wraparound porch. When we left to visit the surrounding areas (Including Helen, Lake Burton, and some fabulous hiking locations), Jeff took time to help us plan our journey and make sure we availed ourselves of some of the lesser known treasures of the area as well. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. The outside areas provided plenty of opportunities to socialize or to find a quiet spot to enjoy alone depending on your mood. It was one of the most relaxing weekends we ve ever spent traveling/vacationing. We will absolutely be returning to this gem soon!

My husband and I spent a total of 5 amazing days at the Stovall House. Both Jeff and Erin are great hosts, and Jeff is super helpful with trip recommendations within the area to make the most of your day. You are also welcomed on arrival by a very good boy and good girl lol (honestly their dogs are very friendly and very well behaved). The house itself is very close to Helen, about 5 min drive. Very cute old home, with all the vintage charm you would expect. We stayed at the Yellow room (note all 4 bedrooms in the second floor have a sky light/ window). Our room also has a window that opens to the front of the house. Breakfast was always delicious, they have on location laying hens so you get to eat fresh eggs. We will definitely be coming back again!

I recently stayed at the Stovall House with my family! We stayed in the blue room, the green room and the sleeping porch in between. The house it beautifully restored and fully functional space for families or groups to come together and be able to hang out together at the house. It felt like home! Jeff was so helpful for us in planning our outings each day. He was able to help us pick different hikes, wineries or restaurants according to what we felt like each day. Erin was also absolutely incredible in the kitchen! I am vegan and gluten free and she was 100% accommodating and didn t make me feel like it was a burden at all. Anyone who can accommodate my special dietary preferences and make the food so delicious and healthy gets an A+ from me!!! I will definitely be returning the the Stovall House someday when I m in need of a little R&R. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have stayed in numerous B&Bs and Jeff and Erin at the Stovall House deserve 10 stars instead of 5! From the moment we arrived, we felt as if they were old friends. Although we ve often visited the area, Jeff steered us toward wineries, bakeries & restaurants we had missed. (Be sure to make a stop at the Jumping Goat - fabulous mead wines - and the Country Bake Shop in Cleveland.) And those breakfasts prepared by Erin! You won t need lunch! Fresh fruit each morning - strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, peaches, grapes, apples tasted as fresh as midsummer. From delicious frittatas to praline French toast, you will leave the dining room with a smile on your face! The inn was spotlessly clean, with fresh flowers throughout. The house sits on 27 acres surrounded by mountains, with cows grazing nearby. We absolutely loved our stay & will definitely make this our go-to lodging when we visit the area in the future. Thank you, Jeff & Erin for a perfect 4 days!

We are so sad to be leaving. This was such a lovely experience! The house was fantastic, the property very scenic with the mountains surrounding it. Erin s breakfast was delicious both mornings with fresh and local ingredients. Jeff was a great guide-he asked what we were interested in doing and gave recommendations to set us up with things we wouldn t have seen otherwise. This is the best B&B we have stayed at and are planning to come back again!

We had such a great trip to the Stovall House! My husband and I decided to make a one night trip and we had a relaxing experience. The property is gorgeous and very relaxing. Many places to sit and rest. We enjoyed making s mores with our other roommates who were there. We all sat around the fire for a few hours and chatted and looked at the stars at night. The room was super cozy and had a lot of character. The sky light was one of our favorite parts. We opened it up in the morning and listened to the birds. The breakfast was so yummy and fresh!! Jeff and Erin were so kind and hospitable. We enjoyed getting to know them too. Overall, it was a great visit and we hope to be back for another stay in the future.

I can't begin to describe the weekend we had here! From the most wonderful welcome from Erin & Jeff to the exquisite architecture of this home. The experience here was beyond anything I could have imagined & was the perfect weekend for a birthday getaway! The rooms were cleaned to perfection. There were fresh flowers & snacks waiting for us. They had a beautiful bonfire Saturday night with smores & the evening was peaceful & serene! Breakfast the next morning was healthy & fresh with only the finest ingredients. The service was exceptional. We were guided around town to amazing places to shop, eat, & drink! Jeff even drew us our own map! Last, but not least the WATER REALLY IS PRISTINE. Literally the best tasting water we ever had. Thank you Jeff & Erin for everything! We'll see y'all & the pups again soon!

This place is phenomenal. The house is beautiful, well kept, and very inviting. The exposed elements of old-time construction are cool as well. The grounds are awesome too. We sat around the campfire and listened to coyotes in the distance, and watched fireflies over the neighboring pastures. It's silent as the grave out there too. It's far enough out that people will believe your cell phone doesn't work, but it still will. Then there's the food. Good grief... fresh local egg frittata with veggies from the garden, local pork sausage, and blueberry cornbread. I could eat that every day. I wanted to keep eating, but was filled to bursting.Jeff is very knowledgeable about the area and will direct you to the best places to eat, drink and explore around Helen. We'll be back.

This beautiful home is beyond!! The view and the area are something out of a painting. Very cozy place! The hosts are amazing, wonderful hospitality! They make you feel like family I can t wait to visit again soon! The breakfast made was by far the best food we had in our stay at Helen. I feel like we left with new friends after staying there! Especially with Matt!! Matt showed us to our room and referred us to visit the pottery shop, Mark of the Potter! We left there with some cool and unique finds! My husband and I like to stay busy when we are vacationing. However, this place is worth visiting for a relaxing getaway! I can t say enough about our experience here! Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!

I can't wait to stay here again! Jeff & Erin have made our first family trip to the North Georgia mountainside one to remember. Beautiful views, great recommendations, clean & cozy house, delicious organic breakfasts, great conversation, what more could you ask for. They even had a fire waiting for us when we returned from exploring Helen, with a smores board! Yum! Thank you guys so much. We will be sure to recommend the Stovall house to all our family and friends. See you again soon.

My absolute favorite place in the Sautee-Nachoochee Valley & north Georgia Mountains. Jeff & Erin have had this place for about 1 1/2 years and have poured heart and soul into making it welcoming, spotless, charming and utterly delightful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast & coffee were unique everyday & delicious! We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner here and it was "dreamy" by the bride's description, truly was magical. We will be regulars! Good for couples weekend, romantic getaway, girls weekend, fresh air and great views!

We desperately needed a break from working-from-home and - at the literal last minute, as we were driving north out of Atlanta - called and spoke with Jeff, who could not have been more friendly: Our weekend vacation started with him on the phone! The place is immaculately clean, wonderfully quiet, and beautifully-situated:Jeff and Erin are just fantastic hosts. The breakfast is 5-star quality. It's close enough to Helen that you can quickly get into town if that's what you're after, but its also far enough out of town that you don't see or hear the traffic or nonsense from all the (other) tourists.Jeff is also a great resource regarding trips to wineries, hikes in the area, antiquing, or shopping. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
