Kirk went above and beyond for us today. He should get a raise. You don t get service this good much anymore. We appreciate it! He spent over an hour getting a lug off our crazy jeep tire.

Kirk (Raymond) and Gabe are two of the reasons for the five stars here. If you want an honest shop for any repairs, maintenance, or tire services, I highly recommend. The two of them stayed late with me one night when my car was out of commission to try and get a seat motor functioning for me to at least get the car home before having to bring it in over the Holidays. Great service altogether. Worth going out of your way in Atlanta take your car to this location just for the honest work, service, and communication.

Spent a bunch of money here on 4 new tires, an alignment, and warranty on tires, for one to go flat a couple days later. They blamed us and said we had to have hit something. I then had to pay $226 more to get "road hazard" coverage on my tires for them to replace the tire. I know FOR SURE that we did not hit anything. I'm going to assume a mounting issue that they didn't want to own up to. Swindled.

Had a screw embedded in one of my tires, and needed a new tire. I was told it would be about a 2 hours wait. I told the service manager I bought my tires there, he pulled up that transaction (almost 2 years old), and got me a discount so that my new tire plus labor and everything else was less than $100. The car was ready in about 80 minutes, so way earlier than expected. Altogether, probably the best experience I've had with having a "small" car problem.

I had a positive experience with this location earlier this year and gave them a good review - not this time. Made an appointment online to repair a tire (nail puncture) for 9 am the next day. Arrived at 8:55 am and the desk indicated that they weren t honoring online appointments (only call ins) - the earliest they could get to it was a day or two, leaving me stuck. It was a 10-15 minute repair. When pressed for local alternatives, he suggested I drive to another PepBoys and see if they could help - didn t offer to call. Suggested I Google it.Luckily, Mavis Tire down the road accepted me without an appointment.

I have had the worst experience here out of any car place I have ever been too.First time I made appt for oil change. I get there and they told me I need to drop my car off for 3hrs. Like what? A oil change doesn t take 3hrs and I came ready with appt. I left and went somewhere else that had me in and out in 10min, no appt.Second time I had an issue with my tire and I was afraid to drive. The front desk guy said well you must of hit something or a pot hole , I preceded to tell him that s not what happened. Completely not listening to me. He also said he could take a look but it s going to be about 4hrs . 4hrs for someone to just look at a tire? The time frame didn t work with me. He then told me, whelp, nothing we can do for you then !! How rude, inconsiderate, and didn t even offer me a solution on maybe coming back, making appt, nothing.I would not recommend this place to anyone. Customer service trashThankfully Mr.Tires Auto Service Center was right down the road and took me in a heartbeat to diagnose and let me know if I m okay to drive.

Paid 700 to fix my heat they kept it 2 days. When I picked the car up it still wasn t blowing hot so I took it back for another 2 days & $900 more. After over $1600 it s still not blowing hot. They don t have proper equipment and should ve never accepted a job they weren t able to diagnose correctly

I was able to find the tires I wanted and schedule an appointment for installation within 24 hours. (I would have had to wait for over a week if I had used other services in the area.) Online purchasing and appointment reservation processes are easy to navigate and complete. The Hammond Drive store is clean, with a comfortable waiting area and the staff are cordial. The installation of new tires, including balancing and front-end alignment took about an hour and a half. I'm very pleased with this Pep Boys service, start to finish.

The larger white guy named Rick is extremely lazy and unhelpful. I requested for him to just tighten one of my lugnuts as I felt it was too loose and possibly unsafe and his response was no because they weren t servicing my tires which was said in a very short and dismissive way. Mind you tightening a lug nut is literally just turning a screw. I wouldn t trust them to do anything to my car if they re too lazy to turn a screw terrible customer service.

2.5 hour oil change. Who takes that long to change oil?! Most places it's 30 max! Not only that but they don't tell you the price beforehand and then somehow an oil change costs $190. I'm telling you to stay far away from these people. Go to a trusted mechanic. I don't know if its this Pep Boys location or all but should change the name to Con Boys because they just are a bunch of con artists!

Kirk and the team deserve nothing short of 5 stars! They were able to have my tires ordered fairly last minute, get them delivered and installed in no time!Fantastic service, very friendly customer service and fast! Highly recommend this team.

I was greeted by the technician at the door. Both gentlemen were extememely polite and helpful. My concerns were listed to, and the appropriate diagnosis of my car issue was explained in terms that I could understand.I work was completed in a timely manner, and I made it o work on time. We came by this location by mistake looking for the other retail location. I came inside and spoke to the cashier at the counter Who advised us that his location was small by comparison to the location that was further up the road. he didn't have what I was looking for so I decided to go on to the other retail location to see if they had it at that store. This gentleman was very helpful and giving me information that I needed and seem to be capable and knowledgeable about the inventory he had in his store.

These guys are amazing! My wife and I got a flat on 285 and was able to roll in for an emergency new tire. They were quick, friendly, and even topped off our wiper fluid!

I must say, I didn't expect to be here over 3 hours for a simple alignment. I was told about 1, maybe 2, at most. I had even called a few days before to find the least busy recommended day/time and was told Sundays. They only had one tech, and he had "complications" with another car. That is understandable, but there was such an unapologetic attitude from the front desk guy, it left me feeling negative about the whole thing. I kept having to inquire about what was going on...he never had the courtesy to come update me as to the status. In addition: NO MASK. And ppl kept walking in without masks. It is a smallish space...Totally Unacceptable!! Last of all, this front desk person was very unprofessional: He never came & updated me as to what the status was, as mentioned above. Then, things were going wrong for him and he began to curse and was very angry while I was checking out. Just entirely not pleasant...I should've known because the week before when I called in, he wasn't very polite then either.

Kirk was very helpful and friendly on our visit. I was missing 2 lug nuts on the passenger tire after getting my tires replaced here, not sure if the last tech didn't tighten them or never put them on, but Kirk was very helpful and replaced the lugs quickly.

Dear Pep Boys Customer Service,I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at the Pep Boys location on Hammond Drive on August 20, 2023.I have been a loyal customer of Pep Boys for many years and have always been satisfied with the service I have received at the Mableton location. However, my experience at the Hammond Drive location was completely different.I took my car to the Hammond Drive location to have the A/C repaired, as well as a gas smell and clicking noise. The first issue I noticed was the complete uncaring nature of the gentleman at the front desk. He seemed to question whether I could afford the repairs. Which I can understand as most of the other customers coming just wanted oil changes. In retrospect he probably was questioning if his technicians could handle them.I left my car with the shop and received a call a day or so later stating that they could not find any issue with my gas tank to cause the gas smell. The technician stated that people usually fill their tanks up more than they should, which can cause this. After telling him that I do not do that, he repeatedly stated that it could still be the case, as most people do not realize they do it.I told them to skip the gas tank repair if they could not find an issue. However, another day passed and I received a call stating that they DID find an issue with my gas tank and would need to order a part to fix it. This added another $1,200 to my bill.I was able to pick up my car and give it a test drive. What I noticed on my drive is that my car was performing very sluggishly, and the brake light was on, indicating that I had no brake fluid or a brake problem. This should not be the case, as that was fixed at the Mableton location. Also, my gas meter did not move from Full after a 50-mile drive. By the time I made it home, fluids were bursting out of my reservoir tank like a tea kettle, and my car was acting like it was about to turn off. I had to go back to the Hammond Drive location to get my other vehicle (which runs like a dream because of the Mableton location as well). My gas tank still said Full, and the sluggish performance continued. I called the location and told them what was going on and that I would leave the car back with them. However, I am concerned that after spending over $12,000 with Pep Boys this year alone, I have never had to bring a vehicle back because it was worse than when I brought it. I called to check this morning only to hear that they still have not even looked at it again.All of this is happening while me and my wife have to share a car both for work and to pick up our kids from school. Having to drop my car off again for an unknown amount of time after paying $4,250.82 is really inconvenient.The uncertainty of any of the work done by this team is not something I want to trust the lives of my children with or my money. I am concerned that as I leave my car with them again, they will make it worse.I would like a full refund for the repairs to my car and for the inconvenience I have experienced.Unfortunately for me I learned that quality is not something that follows the brand name and that it might say Pepboys but you re subject to the service and knowledge of whomever is happening to work that day.I have attached pictures and videos of the problems with my car. I have also kept a record of all my communication with Pep Boys, including emails, phone calls, and receipts.I am requesting that you investigate this matter and take appropriate action. I am also requesting that you contact me as soon as possible to discuss this matter further.Thank you for your time and consideration.Sincerely,

I am so appreciative of Ray and Thomas from this Pep Boys location! They saved our family trip while on vacation in GA. We experienced a flat tire on a Saturday night and we were having trouble finding a tire in stock at a service center that was open on Sunday morning. Mr. Ray was able to locate the correct tire size and secure it for us bright and early in the AM. He was welcoming and pleasant throughout the whole service experience even as the shop became more and more busy. He worked the front desk and showed great consideration and honesty to every customer while Thomas was the only tech and worked quickly to provide quality service. I'm grateful for both of their positive attitudes and willingness to help us - please celebrate these employees!

My wife dropped her car off at 9:30am. They were simply supposed to replace four tires and do a wheel alignment. RAY said to give them three hours. We come back at 2pm and not only did they not start on the vehicle, they said they had to keep it overnight.The Level of unprofessionalism, inconsiderate, and inconvenience displayed was astounding. Not only will I never do business with Pep Boys again, everyone that I run into I will tell them to avoid. You lost more than a customer today.

My wife visited this shop to replace the car battery. First they offered tires for $1.2K, saying they were bad. The car has just completed a check at the dealership so I think it was not necessary. Then they offered a $800 battery. Only when she said she wanted a more affordable option they recommended one for over $400. That was enough for her to leave the shop - "I felt scammed", she mentioned. We turned out replacing the battery for less than $300.

Kyle is an absolute gem and a joy to work with. I showed up thinking I needed a cheap fix, but it turned out to be something way more expensive. Kyle worked with me and helped me find an option that was affordable for me. He was kind and courteous, and super helpful when explaining to me what was wrong with my car, even going so far as to take me out into the shop with him to show me precisely what was going on. Please give this man the biggest, fattest, juiciest raise of all time! Thank you, Kyle!
