Been going here for many many years. Probably 2 decades. Same great service and most important of all, absolutely trustworthy. I take all my cars for any kind of service and repair. Danny and Richard run a truly amazing repair shop. Only flip side to this is that the whole neighborhood knows this and you can't get get your car in unless you get an appointment!!! So hurry and get on their schedule in advance!!!

We used A Town Automotive for a pre purchase assessment on a used car and Danny did an amazing job servicing us promptly and at a great price point. Based on Danny s thorough assessment, he gave us an honest assessment that helped us decide how to proceed with the dealership. If you want honesty, expertise, and quality, go to A Town! We have found a reputable automotive servicer and will keep using them!

I can t say enough about these guys. Absolutely, unequivocally the best deal AND best service in town. You know the old saying, inexpensive, fast, good, - pick two ? Well, this place delivers all three. We ve had tons of work done here on multiple cars and they are absolutely amazing. From start to finish, they treat their customers like gold and their prices can t be beat. Stop looking further. This is the shop for your next need. A+++

I have had two cars needing service with ATA and have been pleasantly surprised both times. A local dealer tried to take advantage of me, and I'm very familiar with how women are treated by mechanics sometimes. Danny and Richard at ATA have been so helpful and charge reasonable prices - no gouging here!

My vehicle was stolen and inoperable, as many others like it were at the time as well, which inevitably led to delays in getting my car towed in to a repair shop. A Town Automotive was able to get it in less than a week out (which was unheard of at the time!). The team is very accommodating and professional. I never once felt as a young woman they were trying to be deceitful. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company to get my car drivable again. Not only did they fix my vehicle, but they followed up several times to make sure that my car was still running well. Bottom line, these are stand up guys running an honest business in an industry where this is increasingly hard to find. I appreciate the peace of mind they brought me in a stressful situation. I highly recommend them if you are unfortunately in the same boat.

I've been coming to A Town for around the last seven years and they have consistently been the most reliable, friendly, helpful mechanic service I have ever dealt with in my life. Today, my tire was punctured unexpectedly when driving through a parking lot. Luckily, I was close to A Town and was able to make it there. Even though they were in the middle of working on other cars, one of the owner/managers - who has been there the entire seven years - immediately came out, removed the object puncturing the tire, plugged up the leak, and pumped in new air, all in the span of about five minutes. What I thought was going to ruin my day ended up being no issue whatsoever all thanks to A Town and their exceptional service.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I would have liked for this review to be higher than this, but unfortunately I have to be honest.I got a new alternator installed and was told this is a 5+ hour job and that I had to pay based on what the so called computer system specified pertaining to 5 hours of labor. This is the most dishonest, deceitful practice I have ever seen.These guys are fully aware that it doesn't take any where close to 5 hours to install the alternator. Not just them alone, any experienced, skilled mechanic is fully aware of the time needed to do this.To further prove my point, I dropped my car off around 9 pm on a Thursday NIGHT. I received a call the next MORNING around 10 something in the morning saying my car was ready!! REALLY!! So what happened to the FIVE OR MORE HOURS OF LABOR THAT I PAID FOR???IF the shop opens at 8am, how is it possible my car was ready at 10 something that morning?????. It seems like it may have been ready even before I received the call, however, I can't prove that, but I'm sure they didn't call me immediately once it was done. In fact, wouldn't most shops want to call their customers just as they're finishing up, so we can be on our way to get our car??I tried to reasonably and respectfully express this to Danny, but he said what if it took more time, should we charge you more than what we quoted you, again deceit.Again this is a very deceitful and dishonest practice as you all are fully aware that it does not take anywhere close to 5+ hours to install an alternator, but yet that's what you insist on telling me. Just because your computer system spits out an exact time and labor does not mean you have to use that, as you all are experienced and know exactly how to install various parts.Just be a little more honest with people and don't try to take advantage of people just because you can.Thanks and God bless.

Continued amazing, honest service from A Town Automotive. Scheduled an oil change and was in and out very quickly. They looked at other items and printed out some future work that I need done. I love that so I can plan and budget for those items. I'll be scheduling those next month with them. Thanks!

Danny and Richard are the most honest mechanics. If they can't fix it they will refer you to another business that can.They have so much knowledge, they do great work and I trust them. I refer ATA to all my friends!!!

These guys are really trustworthy! If you come there asking to get something done if it doesn t need to get done they will not do it. Others will just take your money and tell you it s fixed. I came here twice asking them to take a look and they didn t find anything and didn t charge me anything. When I did get something fixed they did a great job and charged me a reasonable price. Great place to go to get work done on your car! Good people. Someone who s been going there for over 20 years referred me and I see why. You can trust these guys.

I was referred by my niece as I was in the market for new mechanic close to home. Like the other reviews here, from first contact I was encouraged by friendly phone demeanor and appointment making. I have had a noise no one could fix forever and it was making me not want to drive anymore, which I love to do. Of course, my nearby dealership would check it out for a minimum high charge and then add repair charges but I don t trust them with my worst enemy. (I had to go for a recall and had asked them about it.) Anyway, Danny drove it, came back, explained and adjusted the problem, drove it again and then I drove out in a quiet, seemingly new car after a short wait!! For a very fair price! I m so thrilled to have mentioned the problem to my niece who recommended them. Happy to have found a new car home!!

One of the best, most honest, and fair shops I ve ever come across. I work on cars (for fun and when I have time) and I know when someone is lying or exaggerating a problem, which happens a lot, but NEVER with these guys. Truly classy guys, comparatively cheap, and always on time with getting my car back to me. I ve been using them for about 8 years and I'm still as happy as ever with their service. I highly recommend them. A Town Auto is great and somewhere where I would recommend everyone to take their care if possible. They are true professionals, keeping constant communication during the time they are servicing your vehicle, be it one day or a few weeks. I cannot say enough kind words about the guys at A Town Automotive. I am always hesitant to get repairs done to my car because...well, you know how it is as a younger woman dealing with car stuff. From the first phone call, I had nothing but a great experience. When they called and said my brakes were worse than expected, they outlined exactly what the issues were and how much each repair would cost me. I really liked that they called and ran the price by me before doing any work. When I went to pick up my car, they even showed me the brakes and rotors they removed from my vehicle so I could see exactly what they were talking about on the phone. The follow up text a few days after the repairs was like the cherry on top of the sundae - exceptional customer service all the way around! We will be relocating to Cherokee County soon but my fiance and I both plan on making the drive back to Sandy Springs to get further work done here as needed.Service: Brakes

#1 Mechanic, I would recommend them all hands down to assist you with all your car needs. New in town and need repairs this will be your best stop. Buying a car and you need someone to take a look at it. They would definitely help you out not to buy that Lemon someone just got rid of. They're like family They want nothing but the best for you. You'll continue to come back no matter how far you live. I've been with them since 2012 They are the BEST at what they do. Very reasonable with their pricing. I would recommend them to anyone that has a car or if you know anyone that has one. This will be your new Mechanic home. Look at it like this how many PCP ( Primary Care Physician) do you go to? How about the Dentist ? Groomers for those Furry parents? You would want to stick with someone who knows you and all about your car and it's needs. I can keep going on about them because they are the Best at what they do. If you have doubts go check them out for yourself

Danny and the other team members have been exceptional. I've had excellent, fast, and very reasonable prices with quality work. Today they went above and beyond in helping me and I truly appreciate them. This is my second experience with A Town Automotive, and both times were awesome. They have won a loyal customer.

I've been coming to A Town for several years, they are great! I was recommended by a co worker whose been using them for over 10 years who raved about their service. The customer service is great! Whenever my car has had an issue they find a way to squeeze me in! They never pressure or try to sell you something you don't need, very trustworthy.

I've been getting my car(s) serviced by brothers Danny & Richard of A Town Automotive for almost 20 years and wouldn't dream of getting my cars serviced by anyone else. They are very honest, dependable, personable and timely in their service. I have referred all of my family and as many friends as possible. They are the BEST.

Great service as usual. I purchased my 2020 Mustang from Jim Ellis Ford Sandy Springs which is right down the street and I take my car to A town automotive for any vehicle needs. Danny and Rich are the best and I've been with them for 2 decades.

These guys are great. I've taken my car in multiple times, and they're very reliable and definitely know what they're talking about. Their prices aren't too high either, and they're pretty quick and efficient. This is an awesome mechanic, and definitely recommended.

I'm so thankful for this shop! As long as I'm living in Atlanta, they will be my go to mechanics! As a single female, I hesitate to go get my car worked on for anything. Not one time have I felt ripped off here. The work is great, efficient, and cost is reasonable! The people who work there are very sweet, and they even text to ask how my car is doing (it takes that to do list of making an appt for something going on out of my brain!). The car I have was originally going to be a one year car for me when I bought it. Now, under the care of these guys, I'll make it last as long as i can! Thank you, A Town!

I took my dad s 2012 Toyota Camry to get the oil changed with them like we do every 5000 miles. When I picked up the car, Richard mentioned that I ll need a new oil pan. He said the drain plug thread was stripped. The car was not leaking oil before the oil change. The car has 125000 miles, they have been doing the oil changes every 5000 miles since we bought it with 77000 miles. No one else except them have touched the drain plug since. I went the next morning with a new oil pan and gasket that I bought from Autozone, thinking they would be fair and replace it, since it was broken under their care. Richard said he couldn t do the labor at no charge, he could do it at 50% off. He said it was not their fault, but since we had been customers for so long he would do it at half off. I spent $115 in parts for something that was not my fault, plus I would have to pay $140 for them to fix their screw up. Richard knows the car wasn t leaking oil before Paulo touched it. They were having a heated discussion about it right when I arrived there to pick it up. It saddens me to leave a negative review, we had been their customers for more than 13 years. I was willing to be reasonable and work with them to fix the problem, but I feel like I shouldn t have to pay the labor to replace something that they broke.Service: Oil change

Came here to get a radiator flush and a tuneup (spark plugs replaced), which is what the dealer had recommended. After giving me a fair quote - they started on the work and called me to say that the spark plugs looked great and that reviewing the service history the previous owner had had them serviced not long ago. As a result, I did not have them replaced and saved some money. I really appreciate the honesty and will be back!

A Town was recommended to me by my boyfriend when my shift interlock gear stopped working. I also asked if they wouldn't mind looking at my fluid levels/ doing a one over since I was nervous about what else was wearing (my car is only 4 years old/ 77k miles) and don't know enough about what's under my hood to do a good job myself.Not only did they do a quick run through of my car for free (I assumed this would be another $100), they also put air into a leaky back tire, even after I told them I knew it was leaking and was on my list for another day and quoted me about $300 less for the shift replacement than the other places I called around to. They answered all my questions about the repairs honestly, even telling me what repairs could wait. They'll be able to order and repair my shift within the week. I would recommend A Town Automotive to anyone who wants good quality advice and repairs and especially to those who need a mechanic they can trust to give them accurate advice.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning
