I had a great experience with Landmark, a transmission repair shop that was recommended to me by a friend. They were very professional, friendly, and honest. They diagnosed the problem with my 1966 Mustang 3 speed transmission quickly and gave me a fair estimate. They also explained the repair process and answered all my questions. They completed the repair on time and within the budget. My car shifts smoothly now and I am very satisfied with their work.I had to bring the car back for a minor leak. As too many owners of a 2016 Ford Escape have experienced, my transmission went out at 85,000 miles. I was stuck with an immobile car, and plenty of remaining car payments. After some research I found Landmark Transmission.They were friendly and professional. They diagnosed the issue, and replaced the transmission for me at a reasonable cost (substantially cheaper than the car dealership). They got the work done quickly, and returned my car in good condition. My odometer recently flipped over to 130,000 and my replacement transmission is still in great shape.There are a lot of choices for automotive repair in the North Fulton area. But if I ever need transmission work for another vehicle, I will go to Landmark Transmission in Roswell.

12/10 recommend!! I took my 2015 Nissan Altima here for a transmission replacement after a ridiculous estimate from Nissan. James and Dennis were super helpful, very kind, and did the job for a great price!! And it only took two days!If you need your transmission fixed/replaced, this is the place to go!

We brought our Nissan Pathfinder in for what seemed like a transmission issue (obviously).The shop looked at the vehicle, transmission checked out ok, but it has a couple of codes, one being for fuel injectors. They provided the diagnostic and even waived their diagnostic fee.If you're looking for an honest shop, you can't do better than Landmark. I'm thankful I didn't need a transmission but I'm confident they would have done a phenomenal job at a reasonable cost.Thank you for your honesty and excellent service!

Landmark Transmission - Denis Hozdic, had rebuilt my transmission on my S430 Mercedes Benz, and now replaced Shifter Bushings. On both occasions, Dennis exemplified integrity, honesty, efficiency, and last but not least, courtesy and quality customer service. Such qualities as mentioned, are in short supply these days, and so it is refreshing to find a place where they are very much still fully intact. These guys did a great job. They replaced my transmission along with my father-in-law's. They give you a small shop feel where they actually care about you and want to work with you to make sure you are taken care of.Have referred a number of friends to them as a result.

The service here was great, from the first canctact to picking my car back up. The were honest. Communication skills were exceptional. After they rebuilt the transmission the car now drives amazingly. Highly recommend this shop!

Landmark came recommended by my mechanic. These guys are very good!!! They are super informative. They explain the work needed in detail. Reasonable and honest prices. Took them a BMW that needed a transmission rebuild has a lot of miles and it was just time to do it (something I was trying to avoid). They did the rebuild and l thought I had a new car . I had an Infiniti Q50 with two DTCs, P0720 and P0500. Both are speed sensors, and the codes put the car in a limp mode that won't allow it to shift past third gear. When looking into the issue, almost universally, the root seemed to be a bad valve body. I called multiple shops in the Roswell area that claimed the transmission needed either a full rebuild or to be replaced for anywhere from $5000-$6000 before taxes. Not a single one mentioned that it could just be the valve body. I called Landmark and was immediately informed that this is likely the valve body. I believe the exact words were "9 times out of 10 it's the valve body." And I was told that it can be determined during the diagnostic if that is the case, which it was. The fix was half the cost of the other transmission shops I called, who should take note of Landmark's service and honesty. Oh, and I can't forget to mention, I dropped the car off on Tuesday and had it back Wednesday afternoon. As in the next day. If your car has transmission issues, don't bother going elsewhere, this is the shop for you! Thank you again, Landmark, y'all rock.Service: Transmission

Got quoted by a dealer $5000 to replace t-case and module. But these guys proved them wrong! Not only saving me 4400 but also saving the old t-case by replacing just the module! I'm deffinetly a return customer! These guys are spectacular!!

Yesterday morning, I took my car to have the transmission evaluated for a possible problem. Landmark was recommended by my mechanic when he wasn't certain if the noise we were hearing was coming from the transmission. Denis called me after they inspected my vehicle and explained to me why my issue wasn't the transmission. As a woman, it can be a little nerve wrecking taking my vehicle to various mechanics. Denis is professional and honest. If my transmission ever becomes an issue, I will take my car to him.Service: Transmission

Honesty and fairness at its best! These guys did a great job in replacing the transmission in 1 of our work vans. Done right and on time. Then when I had an issue with a personal vehicle, thinking it was transmission related I visited the shop again. James, the owner, personally checked it out thoroughly. He determined it to not be related to the transmission, and was honest enough to send me on my way without even needing any Service. Many other shops would have at least wanted to do a transmission service, but James said the fluid was in good shape. So now I m off to my mechanic, to further check out the problem. Transmission problems? Go see James, Denis, and the rest of the team.

I just want to start by thanking Landmark Transmission for their honest work and friendly customer service.My 2012 Camry with 130K miles was shaking and hesitating while accerelating and I was told that I would need to replace the transmission which would cost me anywhere between $6000-$9,000. I took it to Landmark Transmission and they identified the problem right away (the transmission fluid needed to be flushed and refilled). They saved me thousands of dollars and was able to work on my car in the same week. I have NEVER experienced top-notch quality service and care the way I have with Landmark.This has easily become my #1 shop for all transmission related service. As many of the other reviews have already stated, Landmark provides honest and quality work. I cannot recommend them enough!!! :)Service: Transmission

I was recommended by my mechanic to rebuild my transmission at Landmark. They were extremely experienced with my Honda Accord's transmission because the owner had the same car. LOL. They rebuilt the transmission with upgraded parts from OEM, plus a couple engine mounts. They did it at the price quoted, and time promised. Very nice to work with staff. Plus a 2 year/unlimited mileage warrantee (unheard of, usually). It has been over 2 years since then, with no issues whatsoever! I have not put a lot of miles on it, but did take a long trip and take it in heavy, start/stop Atlanta traffic, often and it has been great! I would definitely recommend them!Service: Transmission

Landmark is high quality and extremely honest.5 years ago they rebuilt my transmission for a very competitive price and with a great warranty.Then recently, we had a check engine light come on that we thought was transmission related. At first we took it to the AAMCO nearest us, and they tried to sell us a new transmission entirely (5k). We took it to Landmark for a second opinion, and they waived their inspection fee since we were return customers, which was kind. James personally spent at least 10 hours troubleshooting our car. He finally determined that the issue was a super weird, non-transmission related electrical issue that needed to be looked into elsewhere, and in the end they didn't charge us for the help at all. James also offered to have the electrical specialist call him personally so he could walk them through what had already been done on the car.Rarely do you meet such honest, thorough professionals. I stopped by the other day after being turned away by a couple other shops nearby. All I needed were a few bearings and a seal replaced on a transmission I was rebuilding. I had it torn down and replacement parts in hand, but I didn t have the tools to swap them myself. They were friendly, timely, and happy to help! Really great experience! It's never fun to need transmission work, but if you do you should go to Landmark. Dennis and his team were very helpful, patient, and stood by their work. There was an issue with a part that they installed and they stood by their work, replaced the entire transmission again. My 1993 Chevy needed a whole new transmission. They fully rebuilt the transmission and replaced parts based on the quality or wear. Less than two week repair and I got my truck back.I had an issue with my truck that was not under the control of Landmark but related to the drive shaft and transmission. Landmark went above and beyond the call of duty and took on the challenge to fix it.The owners are on a mission doing great things. The process of how they work and how they run their shop and treat their employees is also impressive. They definitely deserve any money or job you would have for them. James (owner) of Landmark spent two hours yesterday working with the C6 in my 1963 Ford Galaxie. He resolved a stack-shifting, and a 1-2 full throttle upshift problem that I've been chasing for years. This shop is awesome, and the real deal. Highly recommend.

Unbeknownst to me I had a transmission problem took it to a Amoco chain facility left it and was told after they diagnosed that I had black and burnt transmission fluid and I needed a new transmission.. I looked up to find out more about my van (2016) and after talking to a friend about it he suggested taking it to Landmark in Roswell GA. My friend had three vehicles that he sent to Landmark and was very happy with their repairs..My Toyota van was drivable so I left it on a Sunday as they have a Dropbox for keys and spoke with Dennis on Monday.. and as it turned out what I did have was a seal that was leaking, did not have black and burnt trans fluid and my transmission is sound. After reading online large chain shops are prone to upcharge especially if one is a woman... Landmark fixed the problem within 2 days..I am very happy with Landmark and Dennis and would recommend them if one does have a problem with their trans. He is patient with people asking question and not condescending as some tec ppl can be. Cost for the work seems to be a lot better than other chain shops and also that they want to help their customers. I would recommend Landmark they definitely are customer helpful and friendly.

Had a transmission rebuild 3 years ago. These are honest people with a fair price and excellent and honest service. Went back today to check what I thought was an issue. This was well beyond their warranty and they did the diagnostics with no charge. Highly recommended, excellent service. Wanted 3200 to rebuild my transmission. Wouldn't work on it if I brought it there. How many hours does it take to rebuild the transmission? No answer from them. I took it out in four hours. My question is where is all this expected labor coming from. If you guys got 100 an hour it would take you 32 hours to do? I'll find the right price or order the 390 rebuild kit and learn on you tube.

Michelle went above and beyond the call of duty to assist my husband and I. We weren't sure what was wrong with my vehicle and Landmark came highly recommended.Michelle obtained my VIN, called the dealership and after evaluating the codes, found my car had not one, but three recalls, which I was completely unaware.Short story, we were able to quickly get it in the shop and have the issues remedied before any major engine problems occurred. We're forever grateful to her courteousness and professionalism. I now know why they're so highly recommended. We highly recommend them too!
