Brought my jeep with a check engine light and Jason and team were able to get the part and fix it in less than a 12 hr. turn around. Great price and fast, definitely recommend!

My family and I had used Hicks Automotive years ago when they were on Hill st in Roswell. I am visiting family from out of town and visiting their new location and received the same great, friendly service that I recall. I had my brakes checked and two front rotors replaced. Very honest and said my pads were in great shape. Could have easily advised me to replace but they re honest. Also rotated my tires and did an oil change. They re on Market Place behind Hooters in Roswell. Give them a try!

Brought my vehicle in because of leak under radiator. Hicks kept my vehicle 5 days and said only a hose clamp needed tightening. Turns out radiator was cracked and they never refilled the radiator. I doubt they even looked at vehicle. Paid, drove off. Next day on the road vehicle over heats, luckily no engine damage. That's what you get for being a customer since 2005.

I am so grateful for the care and expertise of the team at Hicks Automotive. I ran into car trouble Christmas night. I called Hicks first thing in the morning and even though it was the day after a three day weekend, they kindly worked me into their schedule. Once I was there, they took time to show me what was causing my issue, they quickly fixed it, and then they didn t charge me for that part of the visit because it overlapped with another service that they performed. They also didn t try to upsell me on anything, and I am so grateful for how helpful and knowledgeable they were. I will definitely be a repeat customer fantastic value!

I needed a new auto repair shop as my long time advisor/mechanic retired. Hick s was highly recommended by several friends and neighbors. The engine light came on in my wife s vehicle and I took it to Hick s for diagnostics. The folks at Hick s were so friendly and honest. They diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repair for a very fair and reasonable price. I will definitely be going back to Hick s for our future auto repair needs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This is an incredible shop. I took my Father-in-law's 19 year old Toyota 4X4 truck to Hicks Automotive for a complete transmission service. We inherited this truck, and it has been extremely sentimental to us. They took great care of it, and completed the service on time, and at a FRACTION of the cost the dealership planned to charge. Not only did they service the transmission, they checked every inch of the truck for anything it might need. Guess what? NOTHING else was needed. That says a lot about their honesty and integrity. This shop does NOT try to sell you repairs or modifications that you don't need. They don't try to take every penny you have. They just want you happy and safe. If you need ANY repairs on a vehicle, I can't think of ANY other shop I would recommend above Hicks. Quality service you can trust. They are just tremendously good people who run an honest operation. Hicks was recommended by another shop that no longer takes new client's. They did good work and have been honest with me. They could of lied and redone work already done by the dealer I bought a used car from but instead they suggested I take it back to them. I was pleased by this.

Honest owner with honest and knowledgeable mechanics. Only time I've ever actually felt 100% comfortable and confident dropping off a vehicle without worrying about getting ripped off. Need more people like Thad, Kasey, and the rest of the team at Hicks automotive. Highly recommend!

Hicks is my go to spot for repairs. Honesty and reliability goes hand n hand with Hicks. I live almost 2 hours away and I only trust them with my vehicles. The owners Thad and Jason will treat you right. We used Hick's to replace a bad rear axle seal and a bad battery in our Chevy Duramax. Thad Taylor and his team were attentive, professional, and complete in the repair. Their customer communication was on point when another issue came up and their prices are always fair. This is the first time I have had work done at Hicks. A lot of my neighbors on NextDoor recommended them and they did a great job. They were up front on the price and work that needed to be done to fix my car. The next time I need any work done on my vehicle's I will be bringing them to Hicks. Thank you for the great service!

I had heard about Hicks Automotive, but had never taken my cars there as it wasn't as close as other places I'd used in the past. However, I finally dropped off a car there and they did a great job. They diagnosed and fixed an electrical short that was causing the battery to drain (finding these can be tedious). They did a great job for a great price and I only wish I had started taking my cars there sooner.07/2016 Update - I'm still taking my cars to Hicks Automotive and continue to get good service and prices.

We towed our 2002 Nissan Pathfinder to Hicks Automotive two weeks ago. Another top mechanic in the area recommended that we try them. Additionally, a friend also told us that they do great work. Both sources were correct, Hick's Automotive did a great job at a fair price. We will use them in the future for all our repairs. Trustworthy, excellent communicators and terrific customer service. Recently I had to replace my wheel bearing and hub. Decided to do it myself but the bearing was seized. The regular tool wouldnt work and this job would require a 20ton hydraulic press to remove the bearing from the knuckle. Called around and most shops said they didnt have the press and wanted me to put the van back together and bring it in. Shops without presses have the same tools I have and need the entire van together to use these tools. Hicks had the press and without an appointment they had my bearing pressed from the knuckle quickly. I left paying 48 dollars and was able to complete the diy job on the van quickly and of course for a fraction of the price. A new bearing and hub installed at toyota would be an 800 dollar job. Doing the work myself, buying a bearing and hub for 60 dollars and having hicks press it in for 48 bucks means I paid 108 dollars total on a 800 dollar job. Couldnt have done it without Hicks. Thanks for the help guys. If you work on your own car and need some help I recommend these guys for sure. They've have a great reputation in Roswell for decades and see why people use and trust them.Service: Steering & suspension repair

These guys are awesome and trustworthy!We had a problem with my Ford Explorer and two other mechanics said it needed a transmission. Hicks checked it out and said it needed something completely different and it fixed the entire problem for $200!

Came through in a bind! I've had Hicks help me twice when our 1949 Chevy 5 window truck was in terrible shape and both times they were able to help us out. The truck has a 1968 Chevy Camaro 350 V8 engine but we were in a bind but both times they were able to get us on our way and are super nice. They don't really work on old vehicles like that any more but are such nice people and it's just great to have folks like them that you can count on.

Took my flywheel to get resurfaced, and not only did they have it to me in a few hours but also were very fair priced. The staff was nice, knowledgeable, and I wish I knew of this place sooner as I will be bringing my truck to them in the future for any repairs needed.

I have been taking my cars and kid's cars to Hick's for over ten years. They have worked on Toyotas, Hondas, Cadillacs, a Ram 1500 pickup. Just as everyone has said, they are fast, honest and very personable in all their dealings. Finding a good mechanic is like finding a good spouse--you better hang on to the winners with all your might. These folks are the best---

These guys have integrity and will not fix things on your vehicle that don't need fixed! I purchased a vehicle for my son from the auction and I knew it would need some work and started with Kaufman Tire because it was smoking and they were the closest place on Mansell road. That was a BIG mistake!After $2100 of repairs with Kaufmann Tire I was informed that I needed an oil pump and that they didn't provide that service. Well, when I took it to Hicks Automotive after a referral from my mechanic that works on my BMW and VW, Hicks called an informed me that they wouldn't recommend fixing the oil pump because the bearings on the engine were bad. Kaufman Tire said they couldn't have known unless they would have taken the whole engine apart. Yea, right. HIcks has a client for life. They're truthful, fair and have good business practices!

New to the area, and was experiencing electrical issues at start up that worsened through the week (I figured best case, battery, or otherwise alternator or starter). Brought the car in at 4 pm on a Friday. They looked at it and diagnosed it as the battery right away, and replaced it within 20 minutes. I was out before 4:30 pm. Excellent first impression!

My Toyota dealer recommended replacement of a return power steering hose and to replace the power rack & pinion assembly at a cost of over $1500. I took it to Hicks for the repair. The total cost was just over $30 to replace a clamp on the hose to fix a minor leak. The rack & pinion assembly checked out ok. What a relief! I will take my Toyotas here from now on.

We have taken our cars to Hicks for 15 years, a friend told us about them and we haven't gone anywhere since. They only fix what needs to be fixed. Mike and the guys are great honest people.
