I wanted to thank Tommy and all the team in the service department for the great support and service. I was leaving on a Cruise and the check engine light appeared. I contacted Tommy and had to have the vehicle towed to Carl Black. I left on my Cruise in another vehicle and was kept updated on the issue and repairs which were required. I never had to worry about anything. The Service team took care of everything and even gave it a good wash before I picked it up. I would definitely recommend Carl Black and the service team in Roswell for any repair and service work. It's great to have someone you can trust.

This rating is combined for both carl black and GMC as a whole. I don't even know where to start. Buying the truck was not am enjoyable process. I was told it would be 4-6 months to get it. 9 months later, by the end of the year, when the new models have hit the lot, I finally get mine. It's now considered a year old truck and I haven't gotten to drive it. It shows up without everything I ordered on it. At least they didn't charge me for items I didn't get.... The dealership then forces a mark up package "to help me get my money's worth" that is just oil changes and tire rotations. They won't budge on coming off the price at all for what it essentially last years model truck at this point. Now we come to today. I always figured that the issue of lights not working on my trailers was faulty wiring on my trailers, as they were old. I hook up to a new trailer that I'm using for a big trip out of state only to find its having the same issue, and goes in and out of recognizing that the trailer has brakes (a safety issue). I hook it up to my dad's truck and the trailer works fine, so I know it's my truck at this point. Turns out this is a known issue on these 1500s.... my trip is 7 days away. I call the dealership and they tell me it'll be 3 weeks before they can get a part in that they know all of these 1500s will need, as opposed to being sensible and keeping some on end. Let me be clear. They didn't run out. They just don't keep them on hand and order as needed. I'm now in a predicament where I have no truck and will lose my money on everything I've booked for this trip as it's dependent on me being able to tow a trailer. Thanks for nothing carl black and GMC in general. I should've gone with Ford or Dodge like my friends and family tried to get me to do....

I bought a groupon voucher and I thought got a good deal but today I realized it s worst. I was there at my appointment time, they said it will take 1Hour 30 minutes to change oil and rotate the tires. I waited for said time and checked with them they said service not yet started as today is busy day for them, finally after 2 hours they started work, they changed oil but not tire rotation because they broke my rim studs and they said as my car is old it happens, and they are not ready to replace them without charging me tough it s their mistake. I never had this kind of experience with any other service centers. Really disappointed with carl service, still 2 services left as part of coupon but I decided not to because not sure next time what they will break

My service experience was first class. Thomas Bell helped me to resolve an issue with making an appointment and went above and beyond to explain the recommended part replacements and get the repairs done much faster than expected. I will continue to have my GMC service performed at Carl Black.

I purchased my 2023 GMC YUKON SLT from Carl Black GMC in Alpharetta / Roswell.I could not have been more impressed with their General Manager Todd Baker throughout the entire experience from purchase to prep and delivery.Mr. Baker and the Director of Service Bill Draiper made every step of trading in my 2022 GMC YUKON for a New One so easy. There Customer Service Levels were 10+++It s most heartening, to see that the Qualities that built America; like Honesty, Character and Honor are not actually lost in the annuals of History; but that Mr. Baker and his Dealership are a testament to that, and will continue to be a beacon of hope in a troubled World.

Even though my car was in service much longer than I initially anticipated, Thomas, my service tech, kept me well informed of my issues and status of work.I felt like he went above and beyond to solve the computer-related issue in my Yukon. He was respectful and took extra time to make sure I understood the issue and what they were doing about it.He won me over and I will now be using them for all service related issues moving forward.

I went in for minor repairs on my terrain, I left having purchased a Chevy Colorado. I told thierry that if he had a truck that was like my terrain in height I would consider it other wise I didn t want to waste each others time. He went back to his desk and found a couple of nice options. He brought the Colorado to Georgia from Florida for me to look at. It s a beauty. Thierry didn t pressure, and any question he didn t have the answer to he had his resources to get the answer. I m a very happy customer.

I recently brought my vehicle to this location for service. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. The diagnostic process was ineffective, and the customer service experience was notably subpar. The representative who answers the phone is extremely rude. Calls were transferred without prior notification, creating a communication challenge.Upon retrieving my vehicle, I discovered that my key fob had been damaged. I promptly contacted the company within 20 minutes of leaving, only to be met with denial of any responsibility. The representative, Thomas, insisted that their technicians, who purportedly do not lie, claimed innocence. Therefore they will not be assisting us in anyway.The lack of accountability is shown when you scroll through their reviews. The owner responds to the positive reviews but ignores the negative ones.In regard to the issue with our vehicle - we ended up taking it to a different mechanic who was able to figure out the problem within 30 minutes.

Just bought a used 2014 MDX from them.The people in the store were very nice but the car we came to see had not even been cleaned. Even though Carl Black put that it was detailed in the car report.We waited 2 hours for them to "detail" it. The car looked worse on the outside than when we drove it. It's like they used Dawn to expose all the issues in the paint. Fingerprints and marks. I could have just taken it through a gas station car wash and got the same level of care.Even the salesman was embarrassed. Ofcourse though, he thanks me , hands me the keys and walks away quickly. I can't believe a dealership would be ok handing a customer the keys to the car looking even worse than when we test drove it.

The Service Team at Carl Black Buick GMC is first rate. From scheduling my appointments to discussing my issues with my service advisor, they could not be more professional, knowledgeable and well managed. After my short description of my problem they targeted the issue and within a couple of hours my car was running like a brand new car!Repeat customer for sure!!

I was browsing cars due to a total loss on my vehicle. I answered a question, STUPIDLY, and gave my number. IMMEDIATELY someone called during work hours. I told them they did not have what I wanted and I was not ready to look until a week later, and they, of course, tried to send me other cars. They called me twice yesterday, waking me up while I was sick, so I blocked their number. Then they texted me, and I communicated. He was so pushy, questioning why I was waiting until next weekend to get a car, and I told him I would reach out to him if I was going to come by on Saturday. They just called again at 9 am on Saturday. I'm still sick and did not ask to be harassed and blown up by a car salesman. I will NEVER look at this car dealer again. I'm in sales, and NEVER would I harass someone after being told they would reach out and when they requested emails. No other site I've looked at has done this. Worse than a telemarketer. Idc of the car is 10$. I would not take it from them after this!!! Have some respect and common courtesies or give me your personal number and let me blow you up. As a result just lost a large cash buy great job giving someone else who has respect a pay day!!!!!

Do NOT do business. And DO NOT work here. I have information. Employees here, salesman are promised 30% of a sale of used vehicles. So say they got a car for 10 grand trade in, and a week later a salesman sells said car for 13k. He would get 30% of the difference, minus fees of getting the car in the system etc. However management refuses to tell salesmen what they paid for the car so they can pay them whatever they like. Well. I asked the previous owner what they were given for trade. The amount this salesman should have made was 1,200 dolars.. he got. 40. 40 dollars...that's it. After cold calling, and working the deal for 7 hours. The car he sold had a paint scuff that the dealership promised to have touched up if the new owners brought the vehicle back, free of charge. They did not honor this promise even tho it was in WRITING. They also charge their employees 400 dollars for 5 t-shirts, they say they will take small increments out of paychecks over time(20$), but then deduct the full 400 all at once. Skeptical about how t-shirts could cost so much .. we spoke to the parts department and got a order receipt to see how much the company pays for these shirts. (90$) the company profits off their own UNIFORMS. The shades company I have ever come across.

Yesterday, me and my husband traveled 2 hours to see a vehicle that was listed on their website.We also messaged the front desk lady about the said Vehicle.Put in Applications about the vehicle.When we arrived we were told that the was missing and could not be located.Not only did that waist, gas and time but we waited there in store for about three hours for them to try to locate the vehicle and nobody ever did.The poor guy trying to sell the vehicle was a joke.He didn t even know what to say.Management did not speak to us once very poor service.How do you lose a car and can t located when you have been trying to sell it all day?

Thomas Bell dropped the ball. If you have a groupon they don't take you seriously. If a service was not performed on my vehicle that I paid for, I should be made aware of it! Not only did I Feel like he considered me a waste of time but he nonchalantly told me my vehicle was ready, while walking away from me! Just rude.I have two services left. Definitely will ask for someone else if I go back.

I took my 3500 in for service work today and the customer service is terrible. There were atleast 8 people at desk working and only 2 other customers. No one would look up from their computer and seem at all interested in helping me. After standing in front of a gentleman for several minutes he finally looked up at me and asked what I wanted like I was bothering him that I was there. After trying to tell him what was going on with my truck all he could do was treat me rudely like I was bothering him that I was there. The gentleman s entire demeanor was one of contempt that I dare bother him while he was doing whatever he was doing on his computer. The gentleman acted like he could care less if I left my truck to be worked on or not. After being treated like I was wasting his time for several minutes while I was simply trying to describe what was going on with my truck I finally gave up and left and went to John Megal in Dawsonville where I was greeted with a much different experience. The people at John Megal actually acted interested in my business and wanted to know how they could help.This is the 2nd time in maybe 4 trips I have been to Carl Black and treated like it was a bother for me to try to do business with them. I was looking to buy several more trucks for my business but I will be sure to never bother Carl Black again.

I understand that some trucks are hard to find right now. Imagine my surprise when I saw that GM was shipping the truck I was looking for to this location. I put a request to be contact, they contacted me and said there was similar trucks on the lot for me to test drive and I will be put on the list to be contacted if I was still interested in the truck. I drove an hour to the dealer and when I got there, a genuinely nice sale guy greeted me and I told him that I was there to test drive the truck. All of the similar trucks were sold but I could look in the windows. He was nice and took my info down and told me that as soon as the truck showed up, I would be added the the list. I wouldn't call this a bait and switch situation but I would call it that when someone on the phone says, come down and test drive a similar truck, there should be a similar truck, lazy for not checking the status of the trucks. I think I will head to a closer dealership and work with them on finding the truck. It would be 1 star but not for the sales guy that honestly did try to help out.

I got my 2015 Honda Civic serviced here for an oil change on Nov 25, 2023. Two weeks later on Dec 9, 2023 my oil light was flashing on and off while driving and I pulled over and look under my car and oil is leaking and checked my dip stick to no oil on it at all. I called my mechanic to come take a look under my car and jacks it up to see that there s no oil drain bolt and all oil that was just placed in by this company less than 30 days ago has spilled all out. My vehicle will not move and I ve been trying to get ahold of the service manager(Larry) and have yet to be able to get ahold of them to resolve the situation.

What a wonderful experience! We are so thankful that we had the opportunity to do business with Carl Black GMC Rosswell. From the moment we spoke with Aisha in customer service to the conversations with Matt and Kevin, our two day turn around experience was professional, speedy and top quaity. Traveling in from another state can be an uncomforatble experience to make a major purcahse but you all checked all the boxes and made it fantastic! Andreas Cruz our sales representative was "asmobroso/magnificant" and provided us with the knowledge, communication and genunine care to complete our process. Talk about unprofessional and demeaning towards women. This was the worst car experience in my entire life. Not only did they insult my intelligence, but tried to low-ball me after they kept stating my car was in such high demand. Lie after lie. The only good reviews for this place are through the service department.

My wife and I bought another vehicle from the Carl Black dealership in Roswell. They took great care of me on my new 2020 GMC Sierra AT4 4WD Crew Cab. Everyone from Jeff Collins my sales person, Jon Roberson the Sales Manager, finance team to Michael Bousher Owner/ President were great. In addition, the Service department team took fast and super professional care of me with a few accessories including Front Center Console Safe, Kicker MultiPro Tailgate Audio System and tailgate LED lights. I highly recommend their team to my family and friends. You want the automotive buying and service experience done right go to the Carl Black of Roswell. No I am not a paid spokesperson. I don t like most other dealerships and if I had a problem I would say it. I will be back.
