The guys here are all awesome to work with. I have a ten year old jeep wrangler that I like to tear up offroad so it needs fixing a lot. I got the oil cooler housing replaced and a new spare tire on two different shop visits. Both times the scheduling was easy and the work was quick. Would highly recommend!

A great local business. They were quick to determine what my car needed. I felt comfortable in letting them fix the brakes on my car. I was waiting and they did not take much done getting my service done. I will definitely use them again.

I drove 40 miles to school this morning in awful weather and realized my tire was almost completely flat. I quickly googled places near me to fix tires, and Jim s is where I chose to go. I m glad I did! Everyone was friendly, and I was able to wait in my car with the heat on and stay out of this cold, wet weather. They removed my tire, found the leak, and patched it for $25 and in about 35 minutes. Thank you all for your kindness and prompt service!

My Google thing said I was there two days ago. I can assure you I haven't been there in years and will not. I had a set of tires put on a new car. That means it was the first time the wheels had been taken off. The kid working there was putting the lugs on with a gun without starting them first and stripped one out. I asked if they were going to make it right and was told it was already like that and he had to take the word of his employee. I won't recommend a better tire store but I wouldn't recommend this one

Best neighborhood Mechanic Shop I could ask for. Being new to Rome when my car broke down, they were great and wonderful on finding the problem, fixing it while not charging me crazy amount to where I had to sell pictures of my feet. Lol. Thank you again, and we will be going back for all our car needs.

Great customer service. Lots of experience among the employees. Looks like a great team environment. It's definitely a busy place. The front counter ran efficiently. Everyone was professional and polite.

Needed tires my old tires were worn out. They had the tires brought over from the warehouse and on the car in less than an hour!!! I was able to schedule an oil change for next week.Fast, friendly service.

Jim s Tire Store is the VERY BEST PLACE FOR TIRES AND SERVICE FOR ALL TYPES OF CARS Ask for Josh or Bobby. These 2 guys ARE AMAZING AND GO THE EXTRA MILES TO GET ANYTHING THEY CAN FOR YOU. The tires are great prices and both Bobby and Josh are very professional, courteous, and so honest. I had bought new tires for my Hummer and thought the Z3 BMW needed new tires. Josh after looking at told me my tires were like new and only the stems needed replacing. That s an honest man! Bobby and Josh also referred me to the detail shop across the street affiliated with Jim s Tires. The car was detailed to perfection! I wish I could post a picture of it because it looks brand new after being stored for 2 years! Josh and Bobby checked all fluids and they balanced and aligned my tires. It drives like a dream. I just want you to know they are on Maple St Rome Ga and just near Walgreens . Past the traffic light coming from Silver Creek Ga. Go see these guys! You won t regret it!!! I give you my guarantee! These guys are solid! Came in thinking I had a bent rim, but in less than 5 minutes he was able to figure out my problem just by placing a hand on one of my tires. There was apparently an ever so slight rise on the back half of the tire indicating a broken belt. At this point I m thinking, really don t want to buy just 1 brand new tire and have an uneven set. I also don t want to buy 4 brand new tires (They still have a decent amount of tread). Thankfully, (without even having voiced these concerns) the first thing he says is let me see if I ve got a used one in the back . Comes back with one that has almost the same amount of tread the other tires have left (maybe a bit more!) and at a price that can t be beat! I am thrilled at this point and am in and out of there in 30 minutes! I definitely recommend this place. I took pictures of the old tire because I couldn t believe how easy it was to miss unless you know where your looking.

I had to get a tire asap or use my spare and these gentlemen went above and so beyond the duties I expected. I don't have even space to express the appreciation and service that I received from the entire staff. I will never go anywhere for any services that they offer. Incredible guys from start to finish. Thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for the concern that was shown to me. Excellent

AWESOME!! Customer service. Single ladies this is the place to go for your automobile repair. They will let you know what the repair costs will be. They are up front and straight forward and honest. If they find any other problem, they will inform you immediately. Their wait time my be long. But if you want it done right. IT'S WORTH THE WAIT

What can I say about Bryce, Craig, Danny, and crew that will possibly do them justice? Honest, reasonable, reliable, trustworthy....sounds like it was going into "...thrifty, brave, clean and reverent," but really, these guys are great. We drive an hour to take our cars here, and it's well worth it.

I do not recommend these guys at all. I went for a front end alignment only fit them to come back to me and say there's nothing they can do because our cambers are bad. Then they proceed to tell me we owe them 45$ for absolutely nothing and say we would have to pay around 500$ for them to put cambers on.. Parts I can get for under 100$ and install myself. All I'm saying is be sure to ask questions because they will undermine you.Update. They did refund the 45$ after going back from getting our alignment from another shop that did it with no problem.

Great place. Highly recommended. I use just a couple of mechanics in Rome. 3 places only and this is one of my top 3 hands down. Thx. Great place. Google & get your cars fixed etc here. Word.

Yes so uhm I'm 100% positive that the white 6 ft tall bald skinny guy (A VETERAN!) COUGH COUGH tried running my credit card several times and failed like from 3:15 to 5:15 pm the other day on like the 20th of June, he ran my card like 7 times... A website for outdoors stuff, Fiverr witch is some Israeli private hiring site??? And at chipotle online... And a 1 company in California... This man also told me I don't have a transmission that u drop the pan and change the filter but my fluid was low so he just went ahead and topped it off... Long story short I messed up when I bought the Toyota 2000 4runner and dropped the transmission fluid instead cough cough. He's wrong u can look it up and he over filled it were it was right slow clap... He could have marked the bill up that much more and just not have been everything that he is.

Great place, good people, good work, great prices, etc. This place and the mechanics are a dime a dozen. Jim s is fantastic. My wife and I have brought our civics here a few times now. It s always been quick, informative, and the work they do is great. Couldn t hype this place up any more. Call ahead and make sure they have time and you won t regret it.

Brought my truck to Jims Dec 14th, 2022 and didnt get it back til Jan 16, 2023. told me I was a week out (I have a witness to this, not just saying this because I am upset). One month later I finally get my truck. My truck sat in the same spot for 3 weeks hood down everytime I rode my bike by (at least 10 times in the month it was there). Truck never left the spot I dropped it off in for at least 2 weeks. Finally get done with it and and they charge me $630 bucks for a diagnoistic, 2 hours of labor,ignition switch module, 4 spark plugs, coil pack, 2 quartz of oil, 1 gallon of antifreeze. I'm not a "car guy" but I know enough to know it seems like I have been gotten over on by these guys. First 4 times I called all I heard was "battery was dead so we will look tomorrow". Then after 3 weeks had gone buy I rode my bike to this shop and asked faced to faced when is the truck going to be finished on a Friday as the 2 guys that work the front were leaving. We "promised" Monday... then they took another week. basically blaming the fact they are busy on me but they are the ones that said "1 week out". before I got my truck back I asked what I owed and the owner said "ill have to figure it up but you don't have no huge bill ran up here" then charge me $630. To be completely fair they did some good work on a '94 Dodge Dakota I owed around 2016 and it was done in a timely manner.

Couldn t be happier with the customer service! Everyone I dealt with, especially Craig, was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it. Initially came in for an issue with my acceleration, added on a brake replacement, that needed to be done, and left knowing it would be my first call if needed. Customer Service goes a long way in my book!! Thanks guys!

Good attitudes, honest service, and decent prices. I've not only bought tires there, but had a patch that held as long as a new tire and gotten alignments done to better specs than the corporate places will do. If someone needs tires in Rome, Jims is the first place I recommend.

Let me clear a few things up. When I've left my car early one morning to get tires. I needed it by 3 i was told it would be. When time came for work not ready and was told a couple of hours. 25$ Cab ride to work. They're awesome updating you as long as you sit and wait. When I called to get a price on a tire the guy that answered was rude. That day I waited for my tire to be out on my wheel. I took the wheel of my car. All that was needed is a tire and balanced. I'm sure they're rude to men also. I trust the work they do.Fast if you don't leave your car and say no hurry. They keep you updated if you're there waiting. Friendly unless you're a woman when calling to check on prices. The one that answers the phone was a little hateful. But they're trustworthy

Had to take my car here because an issue that came from another shop, luckily it was a simple fix, so I didn't have any actual work done but they were very nice and explained exactly what the other shop did wrong and fixed it for me sooner than expected, while waiting I had a death in the family and they allowed me to keep my car there while dealing with that with no fuss. Wish I would have had my car repaired here to begin with.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I called several other places but this was the only place that had what I needed. I was in and out in under 30 minutes! all of the employees were very nice, as well. some mechanics/mechanic shops try to intimidate female but not this place. they were great! thank you, guys!
