I d like to thank Clay Captain for first of all, reaching out to me immediately from a social media post and saying he could help. I took it out to him and he diagnosed the problems which a friend incorrectly diagnosed. Clay said Honestly, I wouldn t fix (friend s suggestion) if it isn t giving you problems. (Which he checked anyways) Would have cost a lot more. He fixed me up with a new steering rack bushing and tie rod. She s feels brand new. Love the new shoes too.#givecreditwherecreditisdue

Had engine work last year on another car I had which cost 3052.. brought in my other car for transmission work.. and was quoted 5752.16(which included towing) and I was told they wanted half upfront before they would even get started on my car.. which I was told they're under new management etc.. broke my heart bc my car is just sitting there until I can get half of what they're asking before they even touch my car. But other then that.. ok I guess.

Beth at front desk is extremely knowledgeable & courteous. The brakes on my car were done in a timely manner. I'll definitely be using Captain Tire in the future!

If you want your vehicle completed, in a timely or affective manner, or at all. I would not recommend this shop, I hate leaving bad reviews, but I tried getting my A/C fixed in my wife s car through them. 3 weeks in a row, every time I let them know I was dropping her car off the night before and each time they reassured me that it would be done by that night , only for me to realize it had been moved aside. Picked the car up this evening, and all they did was finally put the part in we had been waiting for for weeks and just explain to me that it still wouldn t work I paid to get shoved around and for them to put a part in that won t even fix the issue

Thank you captain Tire and wheel. Recently when I brought my truck to you. I don't know if you understood at the time how important it was. It was so important because of my 14 year old daughter had a dance .You see growing up we didn't even have a car . Sometimes I felt as if the kids who had rides home in a car was privileged. It made me where I always wanted to have a car that my kids would be proud of to be picked up in. I shared that it was my daughter's dance .At that point I felt that it almost became personal for you. You would see to it that my truck was fixed on time . It Was fixed ,it was fixed right, and I just wanted to thank you .The dance was a success .I'm the cool dad ,with the cool truck . Thanks everybody who had a part in this .

10/10 would recommend this place. They've always had great service and the best prices. They took us in last minute, and it fixed the next morning. This is my go-to auto repair shop.

I got referred hear from someone I knew! This place was great!! Cannot stress more how wonderful it was! It took a little longer then expected but it was because they were making sure I needed everything I said and I didn t, one of my problems was fixed by just a new gas cap and saved me a couple 100 dollars! I d rather it be an extra day then pay for a part I didn t need. I will continue to come back here!! Super fair prices, quick and wonderful service. The owner and mechanics are awesome and the lady at the front desk was just so sweet!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

This place was absolutely amazing. They were the only shop that put in the extra effort when I had broken down because my brake line had popped. They stayed later than their normal working hours to assist me when I was 4 hours away from home. I will 100% recommend this place.

Can't say enough about these folks! Believe it or not, most of the tractor sales dealers don't load tractor tires anymore. These folks load them regularly and the deal with mostly automotive tires but do many other types of repair work, they even change tractor tires along with loading them with liquid ballast. Captains has been a huge blessing. My sonis a student at Shorter and Captains has helped get his car back on the road twice the last few months. I am an auto tech in Baltimore, MD and obviously too far to work on it. I found Captains online and loved the reviews. I contacted Jim both times and he took over. He kept me in the loop about the progress and did a great job at a great price. As an auto tech for over 25 years I am hesitant about anyone working on my vehicles, but I am able to relax and trust that my son's vehicle is in great hands. Great service. Great prices. Great customer service.

Super friendly and professional staff. They were the only shop in town willing to work with my schedule and specific needs (they installed a clutch kit that I had already bought rather than forcing me to buy parts through them) and worked really fast minimizing the time I was without my vehicle. Vehicle repair and maintenance is painful enough as is, these guys are great and will not add to your problems at all.

Love Captain Tire! Jim, Clint and Beth are awesome to deal with and LOVE all the plants in the shop! Been dealing with these guys for 20 plus years! They are the most humble people and really take great care of their customers! When I dropped off my truck for diagnosis of problem, I was about to walk back home and Beth stopped me and drove me to my house! That's CARING for your customer!

Had a tire blow out this morning and not being from Rome I didn t know who the best was so I asked the tow driver and he took me to Captain tire and man he wasn t wrong! They changed my tire soon as they arrived and was friendly and really affordable! Found my tire shop for Rome for sure!Service: TiresService: Tires

Replaced the steering column coupler in Kia Forte. Captain Tire does quality work for less than dealerships. I needed a auto repair shop for my daughter s car as she was attending college in Rome. My daughter called once she dropped off car telling me how nice the receptionist was. I later spoke with Captain about some options for her repair and he helped me pick the best solution for our situation and budget. Best experience I ve ever had with auto shop!Service: Transmission

I have used CPT Tires since 2018. I am active duty Army and have transported my 1995 Ford Bronco from Fort Benning to Rome a 150 mile trip just because I trust the service at CPT Tires. The price is always lower than what I expect in the end and they are all upfront and honest. This place is awesome! My a/c went out and I was expecting it to take a week to repair but they looked at it the same day I had brought it in and had back to me in no time! The a/c was working like I champ when I got it back

This place is terrible. I took my truck to get fix cause it had a popping nosie in the front everytime I tire my wheel. It cost me a $1'018.00. I did get my ride when I sapose to. Had my truck for 4 days. Well to make a long story short. It still wasn't fix. Still making the same noise. To it back yesterday and they saying they don't know what it could be. Do not go here.

They broke one of my studs when I got tires. They failed to tell me. A few days later I had ran over a nail and had to get my tire plugged and I went back and all a sudden they noticed I needed a stud replaced. They are a bunch of dope heads and they don't care if they damage your vehicle or not. I will NEVER go to them again! I refuse to do business with dishonest people

After a terrible experience from Andys I brought my car to this amazing place. They fixed my car the same day I brought it even staying after to finish up the cars they were working on. I highly recommend not looking anywhere else.

If your in the area and having tire or car problems. Go here good people great service! In not from the area but I was on the side of the road 4 hrs from home and they saved the day. If in in the area and having problems I know who to call. Y'all do the same. One more thing .. Thank you Captain Tire & auto repair for helping me make it home to my family.

Great, Family run business! Reasonable prices and friendly service. They stay busy, so not always the quickest turn around, but do a good job of setting expectations.
