Went in there for breakfast pads. 3 women were working! Very nice..knew what they were doing unlike the auto zone (calhoun)where men were working and didn't ask you how you were or if you needed help. Definitely recommend this place.

Called ahead looking for the cheapest battery for a vehicle I rarely use. I was quoted $94 and told there was a $22 core charge. I specifically asked if the price given included the core charge. I was told " yes" and the $22 would get deducted if I brought the old one. When I arrived I again asked for the cheapest battery that would work. The man looked at the battery I brought in, then proceeded to tell me the cheapest was $189. I informed him of the previous call. NOW he looks up the $94 battery but tells me that price already has the core charge deducted. He refused to remove the $22.

Adjusted review Downgraded - Although some of the staff are excellent I've noticed a few who are lacking basic knowledge and common sense And when I interject I get the stonewall attitude of well whatever. The working person which is the predominant demographics of an auto parts store, does not have time for such. And why do you not carry a descent pair of pliers? I was in a hurry needed a pair. Employee did not know what a regular pair of pliers were. I am not embellishing. "Here?" 'No those are needle nose' "No those are not needle nose just long nose' "Ya ok do you have just a regular pair of pliers besides these with the nut that unscrews when you scissor the them like this?' (Absolutely the biggest joke I've ever seen for pliers No reputable auto parts store should sell such useless things. 20sec into a task and they would be unscrewed and in pieces) "No just the ones you have" So I had to go somewhere else for pliers when I was rushed for time. Someone is not paying attention at the store level or at a higher level.

They tend not to but some of the men have things to say to customers because it s there pet piece . I see now why there is a push for woman store mangers . They understand about drama more in theses days . A man told me three times if I order online don t come till I receive emerald . Well I usually order in parking lot . And if I see there arnt crowded I go in and tell them . They can say it has gone thru yet all they want I m letting them know in mothers I m ready when it s ready . I exsplained which email cause o place an order I get 2 as soon as I do it . Just don t understand what there thinking when the feel the need ti be I. Control . Cause I ll walking around and might by something or put it in google cause I m a google guild . And I ve had three businesses offer me stuff ti remove my review . This particular case I will never remove it

received the best customer service today. This is third location I've been to this month for a battery problem. First store unable to honor warranty because I got at another location and they had no way to retrieve information. 2nd said battery fine, but I needed $500 alternator. I actually stopped at an auto zone to have battery checked and it was defective. Now to good part. Greg was already checking another vehicle when I pulled in. He quickly determined battery problem and said he would verify warranty. Information not on his local network and he checked central. Not available, so he called original location and after a couple of attempts he found the proper transaction. He quickly exchanged battery and installed it. Cudos to him

We bought oil cap from one advance and returned it to another advance ,they said it wS Ok to do this,saved us from making an extra trip Also $$$ on gas

I went in to inquire about disposing a barrel of waste oil and they helped me immensely! Not only did they help with what I needed but offered the best advice on what to do next. Very informative and they provided the nicest, most friendly service I've experienced in a while!

When I walk in, there are two other customers in the store, both at the registers. I get behind the one closest to the door and I end up standing there for almost ten minutes while the next register over carries on a conversation with a friend, whereas I thought they were working on a sale. They finish chatting, and I go to the counter to pick up the MyDelivery package. I'm told I'm at the wrong entrance, although there was no sign or instruction telling me otherwise, and he ushers me through the back to another counter.At this back counter is one other employee and she is on the phone for another seven minutes. After those seven minutes, all the while having been looking at me and standing in the same vicinity, she misgenders me and tells me the package I'm here for isn't there. That they'd sent someone to deliver it. When I'd come to pick it up..... Such a humiliating waste of time.

For Rome,Georgia This is the Best Advance Auto Parts store we have. I went one night before closing for a transmission gasket. An older gentleman was the one who waited on me. He allowed me to check the part before purchase and talked to me with sense. He is a great employee. This Advance Auto Parts have now earned me as a customer because of the service I had provided. Thanks!

We needed some blinker light. The guy who sold them to us said they were the right ones for our car. My husband says are you sure because they look funny. They guy said yes but made sure to say if we open them and they are not right then they do not give refunds. My husband held on to the lights and took them to work the next day because he works at a car lot with mechanics. The mechanic told my husband these are not the right bulbs and called auto zone to order the right ones. Auto Zone even delivered them. So I guess my question for advanced is how is it that you have a computer to pull up the correct parts for the vehicle and still get it wrong but tell the customer no refunds.... You sold us the bulbs based on your own expert super system. And your associate couldn't even come out and look at the bulb to see the difference that my husband was trying to explain. That's irritating. What happened to customer service?

The East Rome Ga Advance needs to hire some employees that are at least a little bit knowledgeable on vehicles and parts. When the person you speak with says they don't know what a shock is that is a good indication they don't need to work there. I cant do business somewhere that the employee can't even look at price on a part because they don't know what it is.

No better than anywhere else. Waited around for a delivery from another store, only to discover that that the ordered item that was promised the previous day within 30 minutes was in the store and there was no need to really wait around if anyone decided to pay attention.

Wanted to get my battery checked, three people in the store, they were very slow at the time after waiting about 40mins, no one ever tried to come check it, so I left. They only got 1star because there was nothing less to give. NEVER AGAIN!!

Very Poor Customer Service.Went to Auto Zone across the street, and was treated like a customer, not a nuisance.This was after talking to the "manager" at Advanced for help.I am in the process of restoring a 1984 Jeep CJ7. They have lost a lot of business over a $25.00 part that should have been covered under warranty, that could have been sent back to the manufacturer at no cost to Advanced Auto.Let the buyer beware!

Polite and helpful staff. I am not a car genius, but my husband can fix our cars himself. Lots of times he will send me to the parts store to get what ever he is needing. They are always nice and get me just what I need and don't make me feel like an idiot.
