Great food and amazing prices. My steak was perfect and I paired it with a nice grilled smoked sausage. So good. I have heard alot over the years about how good the food is here but never got around to stopping by. We enjoyed it. The service was amazing

The food was actually pretty good, much to my surprise. Friendly service, laid back atmosphere. However, the entire place smelled like raw sewage, especially in the bathroom. The toilet was extremely loose and it smelled HORRID in there. Fix that, and I could be a regular.

If you're a driver & don't know this place, get in the know or you're missing out. Not really a truck stop but a local diner reminiscent of beloved trucker diners from "back in day". 13 miles west of I-75 on hwy82, very limited truck parking, maybe 5, so time it right. It's been about 10yrs since my last visit but the home style southern food & friendly service never disappoints.Popular with the locals, truckers & local police.

Oh, the food is great! I am going to have to stop back by for breakfast next time I am passing through. We ordered the hamburger steak plate and the shrimp plate; no complaints. My 4 year old chose the kid's fish plate and I was shocked he passed up chicken fingers. However, he ate every bit of it and that night wanted more. Prices are good, too.

We ate supper here Thursday night about 5:30. I had a half of a fried chicken and home fries amd both very very good. I don't usually care for a fried chicken breast but every piece of chicken was really good. It definitely had that home cooking flavor. My wife had the chicken tender meal with fries. Four large chicken tenders and a pile of fries. She said it was all very good. The customer service was good and the place has that hometown diner atmosphere. And the German chocolate cake was also delicious. Ed's is definitely worth our 20 minute drive from home to get there and definitely worth your time to stop if you're passing by at mealtime.

My first visit. It will not be my last. Fried chicken, home fries, fried okra, and salad. Good crackers for the salad. The food was excellent. My server was excellent too. Coming back just right to check on me. Unsweetened tea was strong and fresh just the way I like it. I do recommend and I will be back.

Oh my sweet heaven! That was a delicious home cooked lunch the wife and I had, rolling through town on the road back home to Florida and found this gem! Not to many of these style restaurants left back home by us. Stop in and check it out! Its a must have.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SMALL TOWN, DOWN HOME FAMILY RESTAURANT & Truck Stop. They serve up a mess of good ol southern country cookin. Large portions at a great value & MAN do they have some of the best sweet tea you can get around these parts here lately. My family & myself eat there at least once a week or more. Don t let me forget to mention how sweet the lady s & gentleman are who work there. I promise, you might walk in as a stranger but you ll leave as family.I recommend anyone who hasn t tried Ed s truck stop before to put it on their bucket list! It s totally worth it! My Favorite thing to order at lunch is the amazing Double cheese burger with an order of fries & gravy. Their burgers are THE BEST!

We ate there tonight had a very bad experience.. Of,course you can sit where you like.. We chose a,booth in a corner. I wouldn't advise this as you tend to be not waited on properly... Our food steaks tonight's special and a seafood platter at regular price.. Seafood platter over cooked and crab and hush puppies raw in the middle.. Oysters shrimp scallops burned honestly French fries was the best part of the meal..Steaks ordered medium they were over cooked and cold French fries again were the best part of the meal..Had we not have been there on other visits and had good experiences we would not go back ever again.. We will not be getting steaks and seafood platters from them again..We actually told a waitress about the over cooked and undercooked food.. We were ignored basically.. And no one returned to,the table again. Very unprofessional wait staff..

Stopped for a break. Great service and EXCELLENT food. Best fried green beans that I've ever had. Too much to eat at one time. This'll make 2 meals!! Y'all need to stop and eat here.

Ed's was once a great little southern food restaurant but has gone down hill over the years. Many of the locals enjoy eating there and the food is normally acceptable. The building needs some tlc and some of the staff need to dig a little deeper to show others more of the famous southern hospitality. My family and i occasionally eat there but it has reached a state where i would not be comfortable taking out of town guests.

It's a good place to go to enjoy good southern cooking. If you live in Worth County you will see someone you know there. The fried chicken, boiled potatoes, turnip greens, green beans, sliced tomatoes and corn bread was delicious 15/01/2019. The friend I broke bread with made it truly enjoyable time.

Home style cooking at it's best. You can order from the menu or get the daily specials (always a must try ). The servers are top notch and will bring you a boat load of lemon for your sweet tea if that's what you want.

The atmosphere makes you feel welcome. The food is really good, if you like homestyle food. You can't go wrong with the New York strip or the catfish fillets, they're excellent. If you ride through Poulan, Ga. and see a lot of cars just off hwy 82, odds are, you are at Eds Truck stop. Sometimes they are as busy as bees on honey. The majority of customers are locals, but I can truly say. ALL ARE WELCOME. Stop by and check it out. You will have no regrets.

Ed's is a unique place. The Locals eat there because of the food and prices. The tourists on Hiway 82 eat there because it's about halfway from Tifton to Albany. It's an old Roadhouse that's been there since the 50's. Good food and service and good selection. Nothing fancy. Ed's is a great place to eat.The Owner, Gail Lee, can cater, deliver lunches, and do it all.

It is a restaurant with truck stop in name only. Pretty much a local eating hot spot for the 50+ crowd. Good southern food (their breakfast food is my favorite) at reasonable prices. Keep in mind this building is an old truck stop that could use a renovation when you bring anybody from out of town.
