(Posting this for my aunt)After trying multiple avenues to contact the right people and get this situation dealt with and ultimately coming up frustratingly empty. That has lead me to write this review.I have detailed receipts proving the inept "service" Vaden gives a loyal customer of 10+ years who has spent nearly seven figures on both business and personal vehicles. As an example of the inept, frustrating and down right unprofessional ways Vaden operates without going into too much detail is, but not limited to:Being hung up on by service/sales department at the Pooler, GA location.Being given horrible attitude at both Pooler, GA and the Beaufort, SC locations. The Pooler, GA location using a completely wrong phone number and email address that they never updated to try and contact me considering I had just bought a brand new truck on March 22, 2024.Refused to take my money for a diagnostic.Blamed a radiator crack on accident damage that never happened.Called way after business hours at 6:47pm but never answered my return call the next day.I made an appointment for one thing and was told when I got there I'd have to leave it for two-three days and I was not going to receive a loaner vehicle. Not caring that I live in another state and needed to get home. And last but not least I was a personal item was stolen out of my vehicle from someone servicing it and not once did a superior reach out to me or help with the police report. So unless you personally know or are related to Mike Ringer or Jane Vaden Thatcher then beware of doing any business with The Vaden Group.

This one definitely threw me for a loop. I ve worked for General Motors the past 3 years in sales and service. Just recently purchased a new 2023 Buick Encore GX at a previous place of employment that ended on negative terms , so wanted to go somewhere where I could develop a long lasting relationship for my new ride. I called and spoke with Kimberly at this store she verified my VIN and verified that my vehicle is still eligible for my complimentary oil change and tire rotation so she scheduled an appointment today for 1:30. Once I got there the service advisor let me know that I couldn t get my service there and that I would have to go many miles further. Which is not proper information , it is up to the dealership to honor it or not. So I asked for the manager on duty (Ryan KUHANECK) who became very noticeably irritated and disrespectful, even confirmed that if I have warranty issues I could come get my service there but not my oil change :/ not adding up , right ? The same systems you use to certify other General Motor makes at a store is what they use to verify warranty s and charge the warranty for the work. This was the most dismissive service experience I ve ever had and I hope Vaden of pooler can learn the power of customer retention. Might I add there was no vehicles being worked on at the time of my arrival and departure. If you make a mistake and have me drive all the way down there that s not my fault. It s yours. I ve seen service departments throw away THOUSANDS of dollars a bottle of oil and a filter wouldn t have hurt since it was your mess up.

From the beginning until the end was a perfect and smooth deal. Jake, John and Harley were excellent to work with. Love the new Tahoe and Jake took time to show us all the Tahoe features. I have to say we have never such an exceptional experience at a dealership. We were treated with respect. I would recommend Vaden Chevrolet for any body looking to purchase a vehicle.

Great customer service with the sales team and service team as well. Only downfall is that they didn t wash the vehicle after the service. But I m not gonna knock any negative on that. But all and all, I enjoy the teams there.

I had an appointment, made it clear at the time I made the appointment that I would waiting at the location until the repairs could be made. I was having the oil changed and nothing else. I arrived at the location 10 minutes before my scheduled time to be told it would 1 1/2 hour wait. I questioned the long wait time having made the appointment several in advance and stating I would be waiting. The answer I received was it raining, and the shop is backed up. One hour and 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time is was on way.

Thomas was service advisor and he was amazing!! Very courteous and engaging, had me laughing. Will always ask for him when I return. Also Gary, master mechanic is the bomb and the main reason I still come back to get my vehicle serviced here. Please recognize these two for their amazing service and their commitment to ensuring my visit is always pleasant!

Professional, Kind, Helpful, Safe.I was ready for an upgrade and knew exactly where I wanted to go. This is my second vehicle I ve purchased with Ryan at a Vaden dealership and I couldn t be happier. I also had the pleasure of working with Jake and Charles buying my new 2023 Colorado and they all made the process seem-less and so fun for me. I usually have anxiety when it comes to buy a new vehicle and the last two experiences I ve had with buying vehicles through Vaden have been nothing but a pleasure and stress free. So blessed and grateful! I have had my truck for a few weeks now and absolutely loving everything about it! Thank you for getting me into the perfect ride.

It was a pleasurable experience working with Kenny, Charles, and Ryan made my car-buying experience easy. I didn't feel pressured, all of my questions were answered, and Kenny stayed in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. Vaden has a great team in Pooler.

Liz from the service department was wonderful. My vehicle was at the dealership for almost 5 weeks and she listened to my frustrations every day I called or she called me and there were no answers as to why my vehicle wasn't fixed yet. She did follow up whenever she had new information regarding my vehicle. Liz went above and beyond to assist me to finally get my vehicle back. I am very appreciative of her.

I was coming in after working a 12 hour night shift, and they were really helpful explaining the services as I was barely awake. The waiting lounge was perfect and spacious with comfortable chairs. Love going there for my oil changes.

To anyone reading this, I strongly advise exercising caution when considering doing business with Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Pooler Ga. Our experience with their service department has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing thus far. We have waited an unacceptable amount of time for warranty-covered repairs, and our attempts at communicating via email have been futile as our messages continue to go unanswered., phone conversations seem like we have their attention but they never follow through on the assurance they will get back to us. I can t wait to get this resolved and find another dealer to provide service and warranty work. I will go out of my way to never do business with another Vaden affiliated dealer and I hope that my family and friends use extreme caution in dealing with them in the future. Stepping down from the soapbox now.

Aaron our salesperson was so helpful and made the whole experience great! From walking into the front door to leaving with a new truck was perfect! All employees were friendly and knowledgeable.

I don t usually post reviews, but I feel I need to save others the heartache. If you re going here to look at the used cars they have on the lot, don t waste your time. We called to make an appointment and we were told the vehicle we d found online wasn t accessible and it wouldn t be worth our time to come look at it. We were steered toward buying a new vehicle instead and the needs of our family were dismissed. We decided to go in for the appointment anyway (big mistake), and we were met with the same unprofessional behavior. We only had three basic questions about the vehicle (had it been in any accidents, were there any open recalls, what s its towing capacity), but were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. We were eventually informed it had been in no accidents, but the damage on the tailgate said otherwise. It had a dent, chipping paint, and didn t open and close properly. It also smelled like cigarette smoke. When I mentioned this, the sales rep called another rep over to smell the vehicle with his young nose. I m 38 years old and my sniffer works just fine. I wasn t asking if it smelled like smoke, I was telling him it did. When we asked to see three other vehicles on the lot, the sales rep wasn t interested in helping us with that either. He just said We will look into those in a dismissive tone and left us standing in the lot. I guess this dealership does not like selling their used cars, but if that s the case why do they have them on the lot? We went yesterday ready to buy, but we will be taking our business elsewhere, and telling our friends and family in the area to do the same.

Lizzie was my service representative and she was very nice, professional and very helpful. She did a lot to help me get my service done and be back to work on time. She's 10 times better than the last rep I had.

Kandice was the best! After having paid close to $200 for a wheel alignment at a different mechanic I had little hope someone would actually fix the problem. Not only did Kandice assure me it would fix the issue she went above and beyond to make sure it was done before returning it back to me. She also answered any questions I had quickly. Will be returning for all my car needs from now on.

I arrived this morning for a scheduled diagnostics appointment that made roughly a week ago and was informed that my vehicle wouldn't be looked at until Thursday or Friday, even though I had an appointment. I wasn't offered anything other than a " we can't get to it" dry explanation. This is piss poor because I wasted time and fuel. The dealership knew prior to the holiday (Christmas) that they would be severely behind and could have started making arrangements on the Friday or Saturday to reschedule. This has set me back because I work so the time that I have, I try to use it wisely. I wish I could give this experience a negative star rating!

First off, I have to give major kudos to Mrs Kandice Carpenter, she always makes me feel like I am appreciated as a customer. I have bought several vehicles from Vaden Chevrolet and I always go there for my oil change. She is a great person for your team. Keep up the great work.

When I bought my vehicle from Vaden, my 6th from this dealership, I was told I had 6 "free" oil changes. In May 2023 I had my truck in for an oil change and was told I had one left after that visit. In December 2023 i took my truck in for an oil change and some warranty work. They told I did not have any oil changes left. A long time customer that they are willing to lose over an oil change. To me just doesn't make good business sense.

My car was towed to the dealership after hours. The service advisor was sure to call me first thing that next morning to acknowledge that my car had been received. He then kept me updated on the status of my vehicle every step of the way

Among the problems I raised, the ones that were not serious were not fixed. It always takes a long time and they don't give the exact time. I rented a car for 4 days and had to extend it by one day and another day, for a total of 5 days. The important thing is that they claimed that they had fixed it. As soon as I get it, a problem arises again. A text message appears on the car dashboard asking me to get service, but I can't go because I'm busy. Is the problem with the car or the person fixing it? . ?

My daughter was told she had bought the wrong battery and that it couldn t be installed. The service person was rude as hell and so was the lady at the desk when my husband asked my daughter to speak to her and hand her the phone! My daughter leaves, goes back to the auto parts store where the battery was purchased & it was indeed the RIGHT battery for her car! She went to a service center and they installed it just fine without any issues at all! Work on your customer service and don t turn people away because your service crew doesn t wanna do the job! Also the lady at the desk, dropped my daughter s phone as well while my husband asked to speak to her to find out why it couldn t be done! If your staff doesn t want to work, then they should walk out the door and you can find people that do want to work!

If I could put 0 stars I would, I WOULD NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone for any reason. They never answer the phone when they re called. The service department is an absolute joke and can t even manage to find stuff when you pay for a full diagnosis. Tried to charge us for multiple diagnostic fees because they can t figure how to find things the first time.

I visited this location on Saturday because my 2022 Trailblazer was having some issues with the gearshift. I also requested an install for the heated seats since the chip was finally off of backorder. I had an 11 am appointment and didn't leave until 2:30 pm. No service agent bothered to tell me until hour 3 that this was "typical" of a service at this establishment. I understand that things take time, but 3.5 hours is a little ridiculous, especially since I was not informed of the time requirement upfront. I scrolled through a lot of one star reviews while I was angrily waiting in their lobby, which I guess I should have looked at first. The only good thing about this place is you can walk around the outlet mall while they waste your time.

Very very upset with customer service and repair technician that have never once called me regarding my car, that they have had since Thursday afternoon. Made an appointment for 10:30am on Friday. Only received text message on Saturday telling me how much it would cost and what they thought needed attention . Then called and called and called to talk with the technician that was tk be fixing my car,, nor one call back.. finally talked to someone and they said tech would call Monday, never did just another text message. So again I called on Monday, talk to someone, approved repairs and they said Tuesday afternoon would be done. Tuesday afternoon it is right mow and no call. I will never take my car back.

Called on Monday to make the appointment on Thursday and got a confirmation call on Wednesday, was never told one time that the vehicle would have to stay overnight on Thursday. My wife and two babies dropped off the vehicle at the set time and was met with rudeness and attitude by the service advisor and was THEN told about the vehicle needing to stay overnight. My wife informed the advisor that wouldn t work due to her needing the vehicle back that day to drive back home since we don t live in pooler. The appointment was set at 11am, at 4pm the oil was finally being changed and the rest of the issues were also finally being looked at. The technician said the underside of the vehicle was too dirty for him to check one of the issues that was I brought up. Mind you, it hasn t rained in weeks and we wash the vehicle regularly, that was just an excuse to mask his laziness. Finally around 530pm my wife was given back our vehicle which had more issues with it than when we gave it to the dealership to be looked at. The check engine light is still on, the cruise control stopped working and now the remote start is inoperable. The laziness is so awful that a new service sticker wasn t even put inside the vehicles window. I demand this be rectified.

I went for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I left my car to let them work on it. I came back to pick up my vehicle and realized they DID NOT rotate my tires! (I marked each one) I heard this place is notorious for this, which is why I marked my tires to see if it were true. The service center advisor came back and said they "forgot". This is the most unprofessional, and dangerous behavior a service center can display. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I sincerely wish I could give this dealership 0 stars. I took my 2012 Chevy Malibu here to get a part fixed. My appointment was at 8 in the morning. They didn t even look at it till the afternoon. They open at 7:30 but there was 5-6 cars ahead of us somehow? I m pregnant, my husband is in the military and had to have a huge surgery so waiting until the afternoon to only hear an update that they haven t even touched it was insane. We were supposed to get a call when they looked at it and never did so we went in there and the lady that was working was very rude and as soon as we walked in there she shouted at us that she still has no update and for some reason she thought we were leaving even though we asked her where the waiting room was. And then she proceeded to tell us we will have to wait that there is 5-6 cars ahead of us. And then when they DID look at it they decided they wanted to charge me $750 for the part and the service. Absolutely INSANE. I got quotes from another place that will do it for $150!!! Definitely took my business elsewhere. They tried charging me diagnostics when i told them what was wrong with the car in the first place. They didn t have to diagnose anything. Which was another $150. Then they tried charging us a bunch of money just to get a key connected to my car when all you do is turn the key a few times and wait a few minutes between each turn. Another thing that was very upsetting was she kept telling me different prices. First it was around $350 then it shot up to $750!! We needed my car to be done as it is our only vehicle and they kept it for an insane amount of time before we said whatever we are just going to go and pick it up ourselves and find business elsewhere. We were also in the dealership while we were waiting all day and stopped to talk to a salesman cause like I said we only have one car so we just wanted to see what was available if we had to wait. Our salesman was amazing but the dealership is a mess. We would find a car we liked and it was like a hunt to go find the car and the keys cause they don t know where the car is at and where the keys are. They ended up having already sold vehicles that we liked that were on their website and then we were looking at another vehicle and was starting to like it as the salesman asked if we wanted to test drive it but he got a call from someone else saying the vehicle just sold. It s a mess I don t know if it is the management or what but it isn t the salesman s fault. The service department is terrible and tries to rip people off and was rude to me and my husband. They kept playing a price game with me. I wish I read the reviews on the service department here before I went.
