I have been using Chris at Rio for Honda automotive repairs for over 20 years, he operates the best Honda Repair service I have ever used. Chris has worked on 3 different Accords and 2 different Odysseys of mine over the years. Very honest and always delivers exactly what he says he will. I really can't express how great Chris is. 100% Honest and upfront about issues and what he can do to resolve them. He does great work for a fair price.I've been taking my Honda's to him since 2006 and I've never been disappointed.

I took my Honda Accord in to get the front axle and CV value replaced. Chris replaced everything for $190 total. The guy only works on Honda and Acura's which is why is price are low. He completed the work in 2 days.Chris is one of those mechanics that you are lucky to find. Very honest guy. I highly recommend him.

If you have a Honda or Acura, this is the place to go. Excellent work and excellent service. Both of my sons have older model Hondas and we have had such great experiences with the shop. Highly recommend!

Once again, begged Chris to look at my Toyota (even though he focuses on Honda's). His honesty, good work, and reasonable pricing are tops.My minivan was leaking coolant. Firestone claimed I needed to replace the radiator, waterpump, and some other stuff that I cannot remember (and they didn't even to do a pressure test!) Didn't even bother with the rip-off dealer on Ptree Industrial & 285, whose solution to any problem is "replace everything related to the problem". But I digress.So Chris did a thorough check - and determined it was only the radiator, and of course he was correct. He checked the two fans saying that he wouldn't need to replace them if they worked properly, which they did. (Others would have just claimed, "Oh and I had to replace those fans too...") To top it off, he was able to finish the entire replacement and have me out the door before 1:00 when it was scheduled to be 4:00 or 5:00.So far, over the last 5 years, Chris has done brake pads, starter motor, and now radiator on my Toyota - all 100% perfect fixes within reasonable time & pricing and all honestly necessary work.I forgot to mention that I've been bringing my Honda Accord to him for the last several years ever since I got so frustrated with the rip-off folks at the dealer (State Bridge at Abbotts Bridge rds), Firestone (spalding at holcomb bridge), and Auto Service Unltd (Old Alabama and Jones Bridge rds). Chris has replaced the radiator and done brake pads for the Accord - both necessary, fast, well done, and fairly priced.

After a long scary drive from Athens, I limped my car into the Rio shop. It was last minute, and they had a full slate, but sensing my desperation they were able to work me in and fix it before I got off work! Just amazing. I felt like the mechanic was very honest with me and gave me the best deal he possibly could, and I drove away happy. I'm so lucky to have found them!

Have brought my Honda to him for years and begged him to look at my Toyota because he's honest and so good.His honesty and integrity are without question. This says a LOT in the sleezy auto service industry, where Firestone, Goodyear, NAPA, AAA, Just Brakes, Meineke, and even (especially) the DEALERs upsell, often misdiagnose problems, and make unecessary repairs. Mercedes is the worst btw. His time and cost estimates are always 100% accurate. There are never "uh there was an unexpected issue...gonna cost ya an extra ...$" (I once had to go back to to ripoff-artists Auto Service Unltd on Jones Bridge Rd because after a simple oil change my car leaked oil everywhere...they didn't have the right oil filter so they had tried to jam a different one in!)I trust him so much, I begged him to look at my Toyota even though he specializes in Hondas. Every car place automatically says "yes" to any work, I've discovered because it's money in their pocket regardless of what they do. Chris on the other hand at first he was reluctant since he focuses on Honda, until I pleaded how common a problem it was (brakes). Even then, he agreed only to look at it to see if he could do something. (Just Brakes put some dropout newbie on my car who couldn't get the hood open after a few tries...to look at brakes?!) Chris' work was superior - brake pad replacement, rotor realignment (?), other work, were all perfect and very reasonably priced and done in a very reasonable time - esp compared to Firestone and the dealer. Didn't stick around for Just Brakes to pull the old "by law, we can't let you leave with those brakes til we do the work" scam.He does all the work himself and is the owner operator of the business. It's no wonder that his lot is always full of customers.

My parents have been using him for 20 years. The most honest mechanic ever! Prices are the lowest. He used to be a dealer mechanic for Honda.

Rio Import is one of the main reasons we decided to get the Honda Odyssey instead of the Toyota Sienna. My wife (Aminta) takes our Honda Odyssey to Rio Import instead of the Honda dealers. I learned about Rio Import through word of mouth from my coworkers who have been going to him for their Honda vehicle maintenance checks, repairs, etc.
