Doug is the man !! Protuned my 2006 Subaru wrx to perfection while fixing some minor issues. Drove 5 hrs to see him and I would ve driven 10hrs. If you live anywhere in the east half of the USA he is majorly worth it. Super knowledgeable and doesn t mess around. 100/10 would recommend.

1991 Nissan r32 gts t4, was about to sale this car, was over it! Doug did magic to it! Went on a 5hr joy ride ended up at Helen at 12pm at night lol! This shop needs a new name Doug the doctor

I wouldn t trust anyone else with my vehicle . Doug is super profesional knows what he is doing . Do not cheap out taking your car to anyone else take it here you will not regret it you will get the most power out of your vehicle! This is also my third time using their service!!!

After having a new engine installed and having a poorly done tune by another shop, I called Doug with DBW and he welcomed the opportunity to get my 05 STI properly tuned. His shop was very accommodating and maintained excellent communication with me throughout the process, as I had to coordinated towing my vehicle to him from another state.Doug was knowledgable and proficient every step of the way and willing to share that knowledge with me whenever I wanted to pick his brain. Cleanest shop I have ever seen and it's not even close, with a waiting area geared towards keeping guests informed and comfortable while they wait. I just got my 21 WRX STI tuned today for the first time, and I must say, this place was awesome!As a first timer, Doug gave me a descriptive rundown as to what happens, and walked me through the entire process. Furthermore, he showed me around the garage and the cars that they are currently working on.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I think I found my forever tuner!!

When I bought my WRX I had Doug install a Cobb Accesport and do his Stage 1 tune. For a very reasonable price I picked up over 50 horsepower and lb-ft of torque. Numbers were almost exactly the tried-and-true $10/horsepower mark and he did everything in one day. He and Casey were very responsive to my questions and the service was prompt.

Doug tuned my turbo e36 and got it running and driving with the Link standalone ECU. It has been running great!

Took our Subie here a couple months ago for a tune and overall look over. Doug was friendly and answered all the questions we had as well as recommended what to do next.Coming from the Greenville area, we brought our dog. His wife was kind enough to offer our boy some water as well as recommend some restaurants in the area.We experienced an issue after we left the shop and since they re appointment only, they had closed for the day. My husband called him up and he immediately responded and walked us through the issue and what it was. He texted my husband for a while recommending what we needed (ended up being an 02 sensor) with the link included.For someone who had already been paid and didn t need to continue helping us out, he went above and beyond and showed genuine interest in how to help us. Excellent, knowledgeable staff. I initially took my Subaru to another in-town tuner, but had some idle stable issues after the tune. I was told "that's just a normal problem that cannot be fixed." I went to Doug and all the issues have been resolved. He even spent the time to change my fuel pump (which my mechanic had charged me for but never replaced) and troubleshot some other issues as well. The car drives excellent now, and has the power and torque it should have had in the first place! Their whole staff is very knowledgeable, and accommodating. I have found my forever tuner!

Doug has done 2 cars for me over the past year. Best shop in Atlanta by far. Just got my z06 back from him and couldn't be happier about the drivability of the car with a huge cam, very little surge, and pulls great. highly recommend.

Would like to thank Doug for a great tune. After a bad experience with a previous shop, Doug started from a stock file, running on what little information I could provide regarding engine and cam specs...despite this he was able to get the car running and tuned, and also accommodated me for a second visit to fine tune everything. My Corvette now drives great, and no longer stumbles at idle. Will return to DBW for future tuning projects!

This shop is absolutely fantastic! A truly one-stop shop where you can get parts installed and get a flawless tune by Doug. He has tuned 3 of my cars ranging from Porsches, stage 2 to highly built Subarus. Each of the cars drive unbelievably smooth and make more power than the previous tunes I had on them. Additionally Casey is very prompt with responding to emails! Great communication! Highly recommended!

I just got a new Subaru not too long ago, and heard Doug at DBW was the best of the bestest. What a great experience!! He would come out every now and then explain what he was doing, asking questions, and answered all of my questions!! Never had service nor experience like this before! From now on I m only going to DBW only!! Thank you so much guys!! What a great experience!!

The entire team at DBW are really fantastic. They have done an outstanding job on both my 2017 GTR and 2018 STI. Doug is really a very competent tuner and technician. He did a fantastic job converting my unit to run on E85 and it just runs flawless. They are always there if you need them and they will never"Nickel and Dime" you like some of the other shops in the area.

Where do I even start? First off the staff and doug are every bit of amazing not only did they do everything they could to work me into an open cancellation spot they txt me day prior to remind and confirm and then also txt me the day of stating someone wasn t able to make there appointment that if I could I could go ahead and come on in early! Which was perfect for me they were very friendly and inviting upon arrival! Very comfy and nice area to watch doug do his thing with your vehicle he would come in every so often explain what he was doing or ask more questions to learn my car better and as I waited their beautiful sweet dog came and loved on me and Doug finished they got my paperwork took payment all very easy and I was on my way with my amazingly tuned car! His work is impeccable and I couldn t believe how responsive the car was and how well it ran and is running! Will not go anywhere else from now on! Thank you all @ DBW MOTORSPORTS AND BIG SHOUT OUT TO DOUG! Thanks a ton man!

Great shop, Doug has tuned my car twice, both tunes were awesome. They answer every question I have and are easy to get a hold of, will gladly let DBW tune any car I get from here on out.

I called up and spoke with Doug about a very specific issue I was having with my vehicle that my prior tuner couldn't resolve. He assured me that he would absolutely be able to resolve it. I reiterated again that I wanted to make absolutely sure that the issue would be able to be resolved, as this would now be my 3rd trip to GA to try to get this issue resolved (I live in TN, so it's a a 4 hour drive each way). Doug again reassured me he didn't think I would experience any issues.Doug truly and honestly spent a lot of time with my vehicle and he was careful to tune every aspect of the vehicle from idle, to part throttle, to full WOT, and it really, legitimately showed. I left and drove back home, assured that I wouldn't experience the issue I had brought the vehicle to his shop for. I immediately took note that Doug's tune was much smoother than my prior tune.Unfortunately, after returning home, I went to start my vehicle and the dreaded issue that I went to him originally to correct was still there. I called up his shop, left a message, and a few days later he returned my call and asked to send him some logs.Doug legitimately tried to resolve the issue remotely, but I could tell after a few iterations of going back and forth with revisions to the map and me sending back logs, that he was starting to lose focus on my vehicle and problem. Email replies were getting delayed longer and longer, and there were multiple times where I had to follow back up with him again after a week+ of not hearing anything back after sending logs back in per his request.Ultimately, we got to a point after 1.5 months or so of emailing back and forth to where he just flat out said he didn't know what was causing the issue, and he wanted to see the car back at his shop for a few days to try to resolve the issue again in person. This is exactly what I was afraid of right from the start.I explained that I have already been down this road twice before going to him, that this was why I was so adamant about ensuring that the vehicle wouldn't have these issues after I went to him the first place - even if that meant him needing to keep the vehicle for a couple extra days on my first visit, which he didn't do.I explained that going back to his shop would be my 4th visit to GA to rectify this issue (4 hour drive each way for me), my 4th time taking off time from work/losing income, and my 4th time incurring expenses for this trip for gas/lodging, etc - I wasn't real keen on doing it.I explained I was going to sell the vehicle due to this issue, that I was disappointed the issue was still here after the tune, and asked his thoughts/opinions on everything - I never received a response of any kind back.I ended up selling the vehicle shortly after so the entire issue is a moot point now, but the fact still remains that I sought him out to resolve a very specific issue with my vehicle that he assured me he could absolutely resolve, yet he wasn't able to. On top of that, for the price of the tune (nearly $700), I really shouldn't have had to reach back out *multiple times* to receive a response, especially not when his business statement touts working with only a few clients at once to ensure their complete satisfaction and his full attention.At the end of the day, I'm sad to say, but it was a waste of nearly $700 + trip expenses + my time; I'm not real enthused about that. IMO he should have stepped up and offered a partial refund on the cost of the tune or offered to tune my new vehicle for a discounted rate, or at least.... something. Instead, he just left me hanging with no response after paying all that money to resolve an issue he ultimately didn't fix.Decent guy to deal with (when he's working with you), and does a decent overall tune, but ultimately I m out a lot of my time and money with nothing to show for it. Really wish he would have done a bit more to make things right and made more of an effort to respond to communications.

Highly recommend this place..They tuned my BMW E30 M20 to perfection with my recent Megasquirt installation.. Doug tuned all the maps and not only WOT and Casey was great to work with on the front end..It was money well spent and I'm shocked at the power he got out of my setup..

large parking; clean , safe environment; multi businesses surround .. DBW IS FIRST CLASS engine enhancement operation; easier to locate in Atlanta area--Because outside of I+285 bypass it is an uneventful destination on major roadways.

I had DBW install a turbo and perform a tune on my BRZ over a year and over 25k miles ago. I was very very happy with the dyno but it's also my daily driver. The car has run absolutely solid. DBW is the only place I trust enough to boost+tune my car. Truly quality work!

Nice shop that is clean and professional. AWD dyno in house with tuning being managed by Doug Wilkes. Observed dyno tuning of 1 500Hp STI and 1 450hp WRX while I was on site and both customers were highly satisfied. Mechanical work is completed by B3 - Brandon Batchel Built. Recommend!

Newbie in the Subaru world so I've looked for the best and it was Doug at DBW he tuned my car i love it more now and what better thing you need.If you have a built car or some bolt ons DBW is the place to get you what you want.

Supremely impressed! I don't think there is anyone as knowledgeable and kind as Doug at DBW. He gave me sound advice on my upgrades, when to perform them and a killer tune! I am forever a lifetime customer!
