If I can help it, I will never go back to this place. I don t like writing reviews but. they had my car for more than a week to change an axle seal. They told me that it was going to be ready Wednesday, I called Wednesday now they re telling me that he s going to be ready Monday. When I call Monday in the morning to ask what time he s going to be ready he tells me 3 PM I call at 3 PM and he says that they re working on is going to be ready in an hour. When I called in an hour, he tells me that they are waiting for the axle seal. At that point, I couldn t hold it, and I went off on them.

This place is a joke. I was told on the phone it would take 2 hours to have tires put on as I was going to be waiting for the car. I get to the location and then the guy tells me it's going to be 4 hours. That my appointment didn't mean anything. It's just a "guarantee" to be seen. I don't have 4 hours to sit and wait on my car. People have things to do. I will NEVER return to this place. Pep Boys used to be a well run company. Now it's a complete and utter joke.

Not only did we book an appointment a week ahead of time, we also pre-paid for the service to get tires put on our vehicle. We also had the tires shipped and waiting at the shop. We were told we had a 10 o clock appointment, we arrived at 10 o clock and there was 12 people in the waiting room. We were then told it was going to take four hours to have the tires put on our vehicle. After being told it would take two hours maximum when making the appointment. Horrible service, and I will never use Pep Boys again . Very misleading.

Took my car here because it was ideling weird at times. Told them I think the ignition coils may need to be replaced. Took it on a Thursday. Didn't get a call yet so called the next Tuesday to follow up and was told my "CVT" transmission was bad??? Asked for a price and waited but no return call, called the following Thursday and was told my new "CVT" transmission was $10,000 and the labor was $4000 so $14,000 (yes three zeros). I picked it up and took it to another shop. Transmission is fine and my car does NOT even have a "CVT" transmission. It was.... wait for it...ignition coils! Price around $500 for a tuneup and other items. So yeah don't trust this place AT ALL. FOURTEEN TOUSAND DOLLARS on a new transmission for a car that is 9 years old with 110,000 miles on it and no transmission issues. What a joke!

I paid almost $1400 in September for a thermostat, hoses and fluid replacements just to have the same hose leaking issue in December. Back in August I requested to have all old hoses replaced because none had been changed since purchasing the vehicle in 2015 and wanted to avoid this issue again in the near future. They admitted to not knowing my vehicle had 6 hoses instead of 4 so I m assuming only 4 hoses were replaced in August. How they missed replacing the main hose is beyond me. This was a very unprofessional oversight and granted we all make human errors it was VERY inconvenient to have my car in the shop for 4 days AGAIN. I was truly angered by being charged for all the same services again when this was agin an oversight on their part! After speaking with the manager the employee was able to reduce some of the fees which I truly appreciated.

Overall service was good. Took a while due to they computer system not showing my appointment. I arrived at 8am per my appointment and did not leave until close to 12 noon. That was the unpleasant part.

Set up an appointment for 4:00 PM. Two and a half hours later my car is still not even pulled in the building. Took it back home. Will look for another place to get the work done. Wasted time.

I visited Pep Boy in PTC for the first time on 05 Oct to see if they could repair my ABS Brake Light & get the parts, which I had been unsuccessful visiting a couple other Automotive Repair Shops in the local area. I spoke with Allen a young man very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable in automotive. He not only assured me his staff could do the work and he could get the parts, he went a step further and promised my vehicle would be ready prior to COB. When I returned some hrs later he held up his end of the agreement 100 percent and I was pleased with the final cost as well. I highly recommend Pep Boys here in PTC, kudos to the entire team. Twice now I've scheduled online a week ahead of time for an oil change. Both times I needed a light bulb replaced (once a headlight, next a brake light), which I mentioned online AND when dropping off my car. Both times they waited until completing the oil changing process before ordering a bulb for delivery, causing me to wait even longer for them to finish. In fact, during my most recent visit, I waited in the lobby. I received a text saying my car was ready. When I went to the desk, I was informed that they were waiting for a bulb to be delivered. "Should be here in about 15 minutes." Wouldn't it be a better use of my time (and theirs, really) to see if a part needs to be ordered at the beginning of the service and order it then? I do appreciate their thorough service, but do NOT appreciate their speed (or lack of). In the inspection report, I was told my wipers needed replacement. They are less than a month old, so I don't understand that! All in all, I like Pep Boys. They rotate your tires with every oil change. That's what keeps me coming back to them.

My husband booked an appointment online for an oil change for 10am. When I got to Pep Boys, Kelven said we were in the system, but not on the page that he prints out every day from corporate. He said he doesn t know why they don t add the online reservations to his regular reservations so that he can make sure the customer can get waited on at the time they requested. It s now 12:15 and I am still waiting for them to finish a simple oil change. They did the same thing when we came to get tires. They took forever! I will never go back to this location again. They were totally incompetent. They never even apologized for making me wait almost two and a half hours for an oil change when I had a reservation for 10am.

Terrible customer service. Had an appointment @12pm. I dropped it off at 11:45 and when the rep finally got off of his phone with a personal call, told me it would be 2 hours. Called back at 3 and was told it would be done by 4. When I went to pick up, I was told it'd be at least another hour. Not sure why they take appointments. Lost money on a job I had lined up @ 3pm because they are too slow. Will definitely never come to this location again. Discount Tire from now on! One star is too high of a rating!

Although there were only 2 techs on duty, I received great service. The tech noticed that I chose the incorrect tire size for my car and was able to find a set that was comparable in price. He also took the time to put on a new set of wiper blades I bought at the last minute. Excellent customer service.

Had my tires installed here. They got the job done. But I had some issues. The front desk guy was a 2 star in terms of dealing with customers. Pretty rude. Also I asked how long it would be and he said a few hours. That's fine I said it's my only vehicle. And guess what hours later I walk back and the truck is done. That guy never called me to tell me it was done! That's terrible when Someone is waiting. 3rd thing the tire pressures were 5 psi apart on left vs right side. I fixed it at home.

Sean, the mechanic who repaired my BMW was exceptional and, well versed on European vehicles. Kelvin was extremely hospitable and courteous. Allen, the manager, was also extremely professional and, had and outstanding knowledge of the specifics regarding such a tedious repair. Will definitely use this particular shop if future repairs are needed. Impressive teamwork.

Dropped off vehicle 8am with appointment for tire sensor install and alignment, they told me at 11am it was almost finished, 4pm not finished then said pick it up at 6pm it ll be ready. When I arrived at 6 PM determine that they did not do the alignment they missed placed that pressure sensor monitors ..found them when I arrived did not install them attempted to charge me close to $300 for doing nothing after I called them out on incomplete job then they told me don t worry about paying just bring it back the next day and they ll take care of everything, they apologized and mentioned they have been overwhelmed with customers .Terrible. Never resolved.

This store At PeachtreeCity will never get another penny of mine nor the whole franchise as far as I am concerned. They Over Price you for services and Don t provide Quality work. On top of that,none of the employees in the Store Are Exercising Integrity by wearing masks and enforcing customers to wear them. The Wait time was Unacceptable as Well

I went in on a Sunday morning for a diagnostic on my truck. The guy at the front desk said he was going to do his best to get my truck looked at before the close of business. Not only did he get my truck looked at he and the technician went above business hours to fix my truck. He communicated every single step that was needed and called every time there was something they discovered new. I was very satisfied with Pep Boys and the 2 guys who made sure we was back on the road again. I will most definitely be back.

Pep Boys in Peachtree City has gone downhill. I have regularly driven waaay out of my way to frequent THIS Pep Boys in particular because the Customer Service used to be great, and most importantly, no lying and upselling! THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE. I purchased $560.00 in brand new tires from this location in September 2020. Fast-forward to 02/05/2021: I brought my car in because I had a flat tire. The female attendant Miss Kay showed me the puncture-hole that caused the flat and stated my new 40,000-mile warranty is now voided (what else would cause a flat BUT a puncture?). Fine. I accepted it and asked to purchase a new $150.00 tire. I let them know that I would be waiting for my vehicle to be fixed, and Miss Kay told me installation would take 1 & � hours (????). Fine. To kill time, I walked across the street to the grocery store and did a little light shopping and returned 1 hour & � later to find not only was my vehicle NOT READY, it was still on the lift, the spare had not even been removed, and the HOOD WAS UP see photo (???). I asked the technician flatly, Why is my hood up? I m only here for a tire change? He gave some nonsense about a routine inspection. Then, of course, here comes Miss Kay with the ole banana-in-the-tailpipe routine, Miss Johnson, first of all you need a new battery I saw red and became furious at that point. I just purchased a brand, new battery with AAA less that 60-days earlier!!! Look: RUN DO NOT WALK FROM THE PEP BOYS IN PEACHTREE CITY. I may now have to COMPLETELY switch franchises for my routine vehicle maintenance.Service: Tires

Terrible costumers service, they offered to help because an order kept getting delayed.. instead of keeping their word and help, they charged me more! So in the end I could have simply ordered somewhere else and get double (2 tires and rims) for the same amount I spent over 1 tire now mounted on an old rim I still payed, and then simply said that they should communicate better.. they gave me attitude about it Ridiculous..

I had an appointment for 12:00 and my truck didn't get pulled in until 3:00. I wasn't expected to spend 137.00 for an oil change. It took Kelvin 10 minutes to complete my sales ticket and he added some fuel cleansing price on my oil change. Said it was part of the package. Totally unprofessional...

Professional and courteous service from the moment I walked in. I appreciated the text updates at each step along the way. They explained to me what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. My vehicle was ready ahead of schedule and below the price I was expecting. This will be my go-to mechanic from now on.

Will not return to any location of this company. I ask for a oil change and tire rotation. They took about two hours and add something I didn t need for my car. They didn t rotate my tire neither. Horrible company/worker. Y all have lost a loyal customer

Best service I have ever received for car maintenance. Made an appointment at a different location to get a wheel alignment. I waited for an hour thinking I had the hours of operations wrong but they never opened past my appointment time. I was pushed for time because I had to work in 3 hours. I called the peachtree location and spoke to Ozzie. He assured me that they would be able to take me in. He also went as far as calling the district manager to check to see what was going on at the previous location. When I arrived to the store I was a little irritated but Ozzie was very charismatic and made my day a lot better. My car is back to normal now and I have an hour left before I need to get to work! Thank you all at the Peachtree city location!!!!! Fast and affordable service!

The Pep Boys team consistently delivers and exceeds expectation. They are courteous and communicate clearly about the services that I need to have done to my vehicle. They ensure my wait is pleasant if I wait on site. They ensure I have transportation if the service will take more than an 1-2 hours. Absolutely enjoy their quality of work and customer care.

Aweful. They moved so slowly and spent more time in their phones than they do working on the vehicle. Almost three hours for an oil change. The vehicle was inside the shop for over 2-1/2 hours. Never going back and I would not recommend this place.
