I will never use this mechanic again. They damaged my car. Had a fuel leak and they created a bigger leak. Had to take it back three separate times and they never made my car a priority to fix. They held it for days. It took them 2 weeks to give it back to me with no issue. SO I THOUGHT. Its been two months and it s leaking again. My check engine light has been on because they damaged the fuel filler opening. Now I have to take it to a reputable business to get it fixed because I refuse to take it back. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO A REAL BUSINESS.

My 90 Silverado transmission was completely shot... Dropped it off with Carlton.. he put in work! A complete rebuild with new torque converter.. I got to say it's the best performing 700 r4 ive ever had. It pulls and shifts like it just came off the assembly line at the factory

I had taken my car to another mechanic first who had my car for nearly two weeks and when I showed up to pick it up, they had ordered the wrong part! It was a Friday night nearly 5 o clock when I decided to search for another mechanic and that's when I called main street transmission and boy were they a godsend!!!!I had to have my car towed to them ans they waited well after closing time for my car to arrive. They helped me out tremendously!!!! ordered a new transmission. They had it put in within 24 hours! Thank you guys. Only mechanic I'm Palmetto area I can trust.

Excellent and reasonably priced work.Great to have such a good business near home. Chatt Hills and Palmetto.I would drive over 50 miles by all other transmission garages.

Im new to palmetto and didnt have a mechanic i trusted so i rolled the dice and went there. The repair was quick and was pleasently inexpensive. Happy to have a mechanic i can trust.

Coworker just had his transmission rebuilt here. Said nothing but fantastic things about them. Would highly recommend

Honest people with integrity getting it done right an i say this as a new employee they have done nothing but welcomed me into their family owned family operated business so u want the job done right an be treated like family. Stay away from all those big shops like aamco bring it to main street transmission

This company had my sister car for 6 weeks the first time, 3 weeks and now it s been another 3 weeks. Have to keep bringing the car back saying it is not the transmission when in fact it was. They should not be a transmission repair shop.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I would rate negative five stars if I could. -5 . I had to get my vehicle towed to another mechanic.

Went to get my car looked at took it here they took days to get to my car tried calling them they never would pick up went up there just to get cussed out and belittled I don't recommend this place to anyone if your looking for professional business this is a horrible shop and a horrible experience needless to say I didn't get any work done by them save your time and look somewhere else

This is the place to go if you want to get ripped off all reviews that say something good about them are friends of theirs listen to the real reviews these people will tell you they did something to your car when they really have not and when you bring it back for a come back they will try and turn their mistake into your car or truck as another bad part these people have no morals at all just a bunch of lying cheats STAY AWAY this should be your warning!!!!!!
