I used to think this was a great place for the value, until I realized I was being taken advantage of. The first time I went they tried to say I needed a new cover gasket because mine was cracked and leaking, I took it to another mechanic for a separate opinion and nothing was wrong with it. I go back for another oil change and this time without permission they used synthetic oil for $89, when I went 3 months before it was $43, and no one explained why I suddenly needed this. They also gave me a quote for tires much higher than anywhere else but he assured me this was the best deal around. I will not be returning to a place where they assume they can charge female customers more for made up problems.

Had problems with my trucks muffler drop it off. Filled out the drop off sheet gotta a call. They fixed it and I paid them over the phone and picked it up Sunday. No problem Did a great job, thanks guys sounds better than ever has.

The people there are awesome! They really saved me in a pinch. My battery terminals failed right before I needed to go to work and they accepted me the second I got there, fixed the terminals, and replaced the battery in only 45 minutes so I got to work on time. I called about 20 other places and none of them were able to replace the terminals but this one was able to and did a great job at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give them one star I would. I went to get an oil change a week ago at Walmart and week ago and now my engine is overheating. I towed my vehicle to maxi and they are trying to say I didn t have coolant in my vehicle which is lie. Do not take your vehicle to Maxi no point they will just cause more problems.

We traveled from Michigan to Fort O to visit my wife s parents for the week. We noticed a steady transmission fluid leak yesterday (Thurs) and took the truck to Maxi Auto this morning (Friday). We re scheduled to leave tomorrow morning (Sat). Even though they were busy, the guys at Maxi s went over and above to diagnose the problem and get our truck fixed by end of day. We can t thank them enough. We highly recommend Maxi Auto in Fort O for your car and truck repairs!Service: Transmission repair

My vehicle just sat at the back of the building for two days untouched. Told them I needed it closing time Tuesday, and I think his name was Allen just kept typing on the computer like it didn't matter. No phone call Monday or Tuesday. I called closing time Tuesday, and got the run around again just to be told it's the first one in the morning. Why tell somebody you can get it done?Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I had something hanging from the underside of my Prius so I pulled in and they fixed it really fast and didn't even charge me. I'm definitely going to use this shop for all my car stuff. Thanks again guys !

Allan and his crew get it done. Three times they have got me going. The estimates are thoroughly detailed to the point of I pick what I want off the list and they do it. Fast too, but closed Sat and Sunday. You can drop off Sat or Sunday through a key drop box.

I usually do my own repairs, but there are some that I just can't pull off at the house. I've used them three times now for my truck for diagnosis and repairs and all three times I had my truck back and running well within 24 hours. Pricing is pretty average but they do pretty good work. Customer service varies with the person (and it's never been bad), but this is an autoshop, not a bank or a Walmart. The quality of work and time turn-around is what's important, and so far they've done more than solid.

I drive a handicap van which sits very low to the ground, so I m constantly dragging my exhaust across speed bumps, etc. I pull into Maxi muffler in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and asked if I needed an appointment They immediately opened up a bay, fixed the issue, and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Picked up my wife vehicle from HI-TECH TRANSMISSION and when she got home it was loud so looked under escape and the catalytic converter had been cut off so she called MAXI MUFFLER and they had it fixed in no time

They did an amazing job! We had two bolts that wouldn t budge causing an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold. It could ve been a really costly repair but they fixed it without having to replace costly parts!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Got 2010 convertible mustang 4.0 transmission was making a loud winning sound from transmission and took it to them they looked at it fixed the problem clogged transmission filter and put new fluid in it got it back runs like a dream shifting is smooth and perfectly thanks maxi and the crew getting me back on the road I recommend them to anyone needing work done on there car or truck they are the ones to callService: Transmission

Seemed a little shady so I left and went to chevy. He gave me the codes that he had read then deleted, on my receipt. Chevy was unable to find anything wrong with any of those codes. Man was upset when I decided not to get the $2200 worth of repairs done that he suggested. It was just a really weird visit. I'll be staying away, I dont trust these guys.

They've taken care of my cars for 20 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I just had my PRNDL module fixed for hundreds less than at a dealer AND they fixed my broken ashtray without being asked! They stand by their work, fix what's needed at a fair price, and keep me safe on the road. When my car broke down, my roadside assistance insurance paid for a tow, and I had my car taken to Maxi. I didn't have the money to pay for the repairs, and Maxi kept my parked there at no charge for several weeks until I was able to afford having it towed to my home. They are super nice and very professional. It's where I will always go in the future for car repairs and maintenance.

I've used Maxi for quite a long time and have always been happy with their service and prices. Allen runs an efficient operation, and usually gets you in and out quicker than expected, with the problem fully resolved. I've recommended this shop to friends and will do so in the future.

Was going to charge me 980 dollars for a master cylinder and to put it in. I ordered one from AutoZone for 100 dollars and got express oil to put it on for 200 dollars. Ladies, stay away from Maxi. They must have thought I was stupid. We have goggle now to tell us where to buy and recommendations from people like me.

We took our Nissan in to get a tune-up done after 3 days of waiting they quoted us somewhere around $480 so we said okay later on after they did all the work come to find out they did the valve cover gasket also without telling us which added another 200 and something dollars to the bill I was not happy cuz they never asked they just did it so that being said we took care of the bill left being the day before we took this in to get serviced I had used the heat and this car would sweat you out of there in an instant about 3 weeks later we get our first freeze we turn their heater on no heat somehow they either messed up the little heater module or they left a big air gap in the system because this car has coolant lines going into the throttle body which they had to take off for one bolt Nissan so dumb doing this kind of nonsense either or try to get them to fix this problem is probably like trying to get Congress to pass a bill that works for us so I do not recommend this shop to anyone they are definitely understaffed but in the same fact too many things went wrong with our car I just don't recommend them

Allan,Mark and their group of mechanics always do top notch work. I have brought my cars to them many times over the years and for the most part always get me going again.That being said I was a little let down on my new (used) VW beetle. It had several issues going on they fixed my exhaust leak fairly quickly and with a resonable price. The other issues with the engine reving up and down they seemed to just lose interest in helping me out.I paid them and took it down the road to Good Year. In about 3 hours they had diagnosed my problem and had me out running smooth again. A little more costly then Maxi probably could have done it but I guess VW Beetles aren't their thing.I still trust the work at Maxi all the good things they have done for me and my family over the years they will still get all my work on my domestic cars but eh.. foreign cars will probably end up at Good Year.

We've been using Maxi Auto for 17 years and they've been great. They work to get to the bottom of a problem. They usually have our vehicles back up to snuff in less than a day. You can leave vehicles after-hours and put your key in the night-drop (we've done it numerous times). They're always willing to explain the details of what they find wrong and the options for dealing with it. After years of searching for reliable mechanics every time something went wrong with a vehicle, it's a huge relief to have one we trust and just go to automatically. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They've treated us right and then some.

Allen has always taken care of myself and family. He got my Dodge dually Cummins in and out in just a few hours for a full service and brake job. Prices have always been more than fair as well. Thank you guys and i will definitely be back when my next service us due

I originally went here because my dad always did before he passed away. They over charge for parts. Needed a blower Motor on one of our vehicles. Was charged$179 for the part, online the part is $97. When my husband asked why we were charged so much for the part, the manager said they make money off of the parts as well as the labor. We had to bring our car back again because it wasnt fixed the first time. Now I'm starting to wonder if they screwed my dad over too. I will never ever use this place again and will ..make sure my friends and family dont either.
