In and out in an hour for a rearview mirror replacement. Nice cozy waiting area with TV and coffee, and good customer care. I ll be back for sure, since it s close Home. Recommended.

My family has been using Duncan s for years, but I will never go back and will encourage them to go elsewhere as well. I had an ac compressor installed elsewhere and needed to have a Freon charge. I called and stated that I would be fine with dropping the car off and leaving it for them to do the necessary work. The owner said there was no need and I could come by that evening because it wouldn t take long. I was told that a charge and seal would be performed. I expected the seal as it would be pointless to fill it up with Freon otherwise. The Freon then leaked out in less than 24 hours. Obviously, the leak test (which is on the invoice) and seal were not completed. Upon calling to let them know what happened, they said I would have to bring it in for a leak test. I informed them that was part of what they were originally supposed to do and they denied it. I asked why the leak test and seal were not done bc that s the only explanation for why it leaked out. Only then did the owner admit they did not have time that day and I shouldn t have brought it at that time, despite being urged to do just that. He said they could do the leak test but he would have to charge me for the Freon again. He also made an effort to blame the mechanic who put the ac compressor in, which has nothing to do with whether he did the leak test and seal or not. It s not hard to test for leaks first and then put Freon in, neither is it difficult to be honest about the time a job will take and do what you tell the customer you are going to do. It was a waste of time, money, and a huge show of poor business.Service: Air conditioning

I can't speak to the quality of their work, but I certainly can to their customer service. I left my car there for an estimate for an oil leak. When I received the quote from Duncan's it was $200 higher than another reputable place in town. I went right in to pick up the car and was getting into my car to leave when a man followed me out and asked if I had paid the "service fee" (which was over $60). Mind you, I wasn't told about the fee ahead of time nor did I see any sign that indicated that. When I mentioned that to them, both he and the woman at the front were visibly annoyed and then she asked what i did for a living which was totally inappropriate. She said in a harsh tone "Would you work for free?" She then accused me of being dishonest and was really rude! I was actually considering paying it because I'm NOT dishonest, but because of her behavior and rudeness, I just left.BTW, the other place I mentioned gave me a quote WITHOUT a service fee! I'll certainly take my care back to them!!

I have been using Duncan s for quite a few years. Wesley worked on our cars 20 years ago when he was a mechanic working for a local company in Buford. After he opened his own shop we kinda followed him and since, he and his mechanics have worked on all of our family vehicles. At Duncan s you get cutting edge service and technology from folks you d like to have as neighbors. I wouldn t tell my grown daughter to take her car to a shop that I didn t trust. I find it comforting to know we have a local mechanic we can trust to do a proper repair or service at a reasonable and fair price. I had a GREAT experience here. I called after 5:30pm on Monday. They were more than accommodating for after hours drop off. They called by 9am Tuesday with a diagnosis and had a plan in place with an exact quote. By 3pm the work was done and ready for pick up. They were more than accommodating arranging after hours pick up of my truck. I didn't have to interrupt my work day one bit to have my truck serviced.The work is expertly done and price was very competitive. I will be using Duncan's Auto Care for all my family's car needs. These guys went over and beyond my expectations.They made a customer for life!

Duncan Auto Repair in Oakwood GA is the worst. I took my vehicle there for a repair and they ordered the parts before they even looked at the problem. They charged me 1600.00 dollars and said they replaced the entire timing assembly including the timing chain including the timing chain tensioner. When I picked up the vehicle they said the knocking was still there and too drive it for two weeks and see if knocking would go away. Two weeks later I took the vehicle backand said the knocking was still there. They then told me for 1800.00 they could fix the problem. I high tailed it out of there and drove it for 6 months with the knocking that I paid them 1600.00 dollars to fix. I then took it to another repair shop and they replaced the timing belt tensioner. Everything works fine now.

Fantastic Service / Great PriceI needed front brakes and rotors done immediately. (sure...I waited too long to get them done) Talked with Wesley at 7:45am, dropped the minivan off at 8:15am and Clarence had the work done by noon !!! And they were $100 cheaper than other quotes I received from nearby service centers. They have earned all my future business.

Great set of people who work hard to give great service. I have let them do a lot of work on my truck and have never been disappointed. Recently i had my power steering pump replaced and it took a couple of pumps before they realized there was another issue, which they did not hesitate to alert me with matter and let me choose the course of action to fix the problem. Wesley, the owner, has always looked out for me and tries to find the best way to fix something correctly instead of partially fixing something to get me out the door like many shops do.I will always come back to them when i can't fix it myself!

Battery died on me twice in a day, so I brought it in to get tested. Knew the battery was old, just wanted confirmation. Was told my alternator was bad, despite them never testing it. Watched the alternator charge the battery up to 14v when given gas, then the battery fail to hold that charge. Was quoted to replace my alternator and a perfectly good belt, no battery change. They planned to charge me for that as afterward I guess. Left and put in a new battery, everything testing fine now. Is it really impossible to find an honest autoworker now?

My husband and I had been looking for a good mechanic since we moved back to Georgia. We have found our neighborhood mechanic with Duncan's Auto Care. It is such a relief to know that I do not feel pressured into the "your car also needs this done" mentality that usually occurs at a mechanic. The staff was friendly and accommodating with coffee, a waiting room, magazines, and a television. Again, it is a relief to know that my husband and I have found our local mechanic that we can truly trust to take care of our vehicles.

If you ever in need to get your Vehicle repaired this is the place to take it.I have been a customer at Duncans for many years and would not go anywhere else. Since I own 5 Vehicles I go there many times thru the year. Everything is always done correct the first time. The pricing is very compatible and the Service is outstanding. The Mechanics Mark and John are the best!!

Unfortunately, I have to report a nightmare experience with Duncan's Auto Care. Last year, I had a substantial repair done by Duncan. The bill was over $500 and the service came with a "warranty." The invoice did not specify how the warranty would operate, or what would happen if the repair failed while out of town and would have to be repaired at another shop. Of course, the repair failed and I ended up on the side of the road in the Georgia heat. Obviously, I called a tow service and had my car towed and repaired at the nearest mechanic. After finding out that the part "repaired" by Duncan was the culprit for my car's failure, I approached Duncan and asked them to honor the warranty and reimburse me for the repair. Much to my shock, the owner at Duncan refused to honor the warranty and told me that I was stuck with both bills. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with Duncan again and I cannot recommend them to anyone else.

Talked with Matt about A/C not cooling. He was very helpful and professional and took all the information to get my F150 into the shop. He also helped with a ride back to my home when Uber was down.

Very honest mechanic shop. Highly recommend to anyone who doesn't want to get ripped off. I've known Wesley for many years and he has always taken good care of me and my family and every one I recommended to go there. Best in Hall county
