I had my transmission repaired not replaced unlike what other transmission shops including some well known transmission companies told me that I needed a new transmission.The highest quote I received was $9000.00, and the company was more than eager to finance the replacement cost. My mechanic at Robert s mechanic in Suwannee referred me to Jim at Norcross Transmission Service.I took my vehicle to Jim, after checking the vehicle, I was shocked to hear that I didn t need a new transmission. The transmission was repaired and it cost $1400.00.It was one year ago and the vehicle is driving impeccably. I have driven it from Georgia to Massachusetts many times.I have referred many friends to him.Honestly will bring you more business and it will forever.Thanks to Jim and his employees.Service: Transmission

TRANS-FORMATION: It all started with a free evaluation and ended with a thankful celebration.I've had my car for 10 years, and after 10 years she was in the state stress. Her legs had started to go. But because the price of newer cars have gone through the roof, I made the financial calculation that replacing the transmission was a better bet than buying something new. I went to a few transmission places, and of course paid them to evaluate the situation. And then I went to Norcross Transmission Service.They were friendly, knowledgeable, and above all, ready to review what repairs I would need.. without charging for the assessment. They quoted several different prices for several different solutions and didn't pressure or push. I left and contemplated my choices.A few months later I made the decision to pull the trigger and called them back. Of course, the price had gone up just a bit since my estimate.. but the good folks at Norcross Transmission honored my original quote and told me to come in when I was ready.I brought my car in, said a little prayer, and left. Several days later Pepper was ready, new legs and all. And now drives like a dream.Thank you to the team at Norcross Transmission, and especially Jim, for the friendly and fair service. My sons car needed a new transmission 2 years ago and my regular mechanic referred me to Jim @ Norcross Transmission. Said this was the ONLY transmission place he would refer anyone too. Jim is a stand up guy, does business the only way it should be done. He's honest, fair and has integrity. Salt of the earth kind of man! Even when his entire shop came down with COVID, he did everything he could to try and keep his customers happy. Jim, sorry for the late review (I've had a post it note on my desk for 2 years-shame on me). Better late than never. You and your team are amazing and I hope I never need you again but if I do, I'm running to you and Norcross Transmission. Great place! Honest and friendly. Took my Jeep to Jim after speaking with him over the phone as a second opinion. Turns out it was not the original problem I was quoted double the price to fix. So glad I went to see Jim.

Jim was very kind and professional as he helped us navigate transmission trouble with our vehicle. Scam Alert. Called about manual transmission in my 86 C20 and explained it needed a synchronizer. He said bring it by and leave it for diagnosis. They kept it a week and called back and said that they do not work on manual transmissions and will purchase a $3000 rebuilt and replace it i'm sure for another few thousand. They never said they only remove and replace manual transmissions. If they had I would have moved on to search for someone that can repair a transmission. I spent $50 on Uber trips, lost 2 1/2 hours at work and they kept my truck for a week. Don't believe anything they say.Service: Transmission

I had a transmission fluid leak on my f250 truck and was referred by the hardware store owner where I was renting a trailer to haul a car . he said take truck to norcross transmission shop which was close by , so I did and they looked at it quickly and said my front seals were bad. Required removal to fix so left it and he took me to get rental car , and that was big help to me. Picked it up 4 days later , today, nd runs great. Good people there and great place to go with transmission problems.

Couldn't ask for better customer service! Honest and friendly employees who repaired my SUV quickly so I could make it to my sons' baseball game. Meant the world to me especially being from out of state and not knowing where to take the car. Thanks again and for locals (and out of towners not knowing where to go), I would highly recommend this place!

Don't go to this place trust me you'll regret it,I took my car in to have the transmission inspected. I left it overnight and they said theyed get to it next thing in the morning. I had to call multiple times to check up on te status as they didn't call when they were done. They didn't find what was wrong with the car but here's what they did do, they put a huge dent in my car the manager didn't want to claim responsibility. Also when I got home I realized the transmission fluid was leaking something it had never done before so now I'll take my car to another mechanic. Hopefully this place's insurance will cover the damage but seeing how they run the shop I doubt it
