Won t recommend at all. I ve been waiting for my suv for 5 months now. When originally the mechanic told it was a 2 day job. They won t take my calls or reply to my texts. Don t waste your money or time here. There s actually responsible and respectful mechanics shops you could go but this is not the one. EDIT: even though they said they don t have me on their records I have enough prove that my car it s been sitting there for more than 6 months now and still the same issue and also I already paid in full for the repair. I m taking this to court and maybe I ll get my car back.

Could not have asked for better service from a mechanic shop, brought in my 2003 tacoma that I just bought. Did not pass emissions due to a catalyst system issue, and he guaranteed it was just that and that it would pass. Man of his word for sure, would recommend to everyone in need of service. Thank you Joel, you the best man!

Omar helped me and he was so amazing!! He made sure to get us in and out in a timely manner. He checked the car thoroughly and let us know any problems and how to deal with them. He was nice and friendly.

I am new to Norcross and my favorite truck and baby I have owned for over 20 years started making noises. Came to Joel s and they found the problem and fixed it quickly. I was so happy I had them fix transmission leaks no one else could do. Owners are honest and you will get 5 star service.

I own Kia Optima Hybrid and for over a year the dealership has try to fix my car, on recall items, but has charged me thousands of dollars for towing, items not covered under warranty, it is not good. Fiinally got my car back drove it for a couple weeks local driving and car is overheating. Kia said the next appointment is 6 months before they can even look at it.Looking around I found Joel Auto repair. They have a very reasonable car towing charge. After inspection of my car there were several simple problems that the dealership didn't repair like hoses leaking and other basic items. The manager was easy to work with and their rates were very reasonable. If i brought it back to the dealership they would have charged me thousands of dollars again. Thank you Joel and Omar for your kind and honest service that is rare these days. They get 6 out of 5 stars. LOL

My insurance company informed me the internal repairs were never made. Only external repairs were made. This business never provided me with a receipt Mohsen asked me to bring in cash the card machine wasn't working. Moshen never provided a receipt through email either as promised.

As a woman, I am always leery of taking my car to the mechanic. This experience was the total opposite of any negative experiences I have had with mechanics. The three words I would use to describe this mechanic is: Honest, kind, and fast! They were upfront about all costs so, there were no surprises! Also, It was great to support a local family run business!

I have come to this place several times and emergency situations and they have always taken great care of me! They were even closing one day when the under car Shield fell down and was dragging underneath my car while I was driving. They open back up pulled my car in and fixed it for me. The customer service was excellent and the office was clean! I took my 2010 Chevy Equinox to have services done and everything was fixed perfectly! My AC, brakes, headlight tires and tire rotation! I would recommend them to anyone! They did a great job! I was satisfied with all of it! They fix my car as soon as I pulled up to the shop despite that it's passed their working time( I mean they already closed for the day) but Mr Joel took his time to get my car fixed. I highly recommend them.

I bought a 2002 Suburban on craigslist, naturally I was a little worried of what problems I might not know about. Sure enough when I parked it in my driveway it was leaking oil. I knew a little about the problem and I had to have my Rear Main Seal changed. I called around and got some prices in the area. I didn't have a domestic car mechanic that I used. I called and spoke to Matthew who was very polite and was able to get me a quote for the issue I was having. Matthew was professional and had great customer service. The quote was a little lower than most in the area so I made an appointment. I was also unsure about what mechanic to trust and I saw the reviews about Joel's shop. The reviews are right they are honest and provide good service. I had a few other items that were leaking too and they gave me a good price on those as well. Altogether I had a great experience and I will continue to use them for my domestic car mechanics. MY DRIVEWAY is Clean again and the car has ZERO leaks!

I ve got 3 old cars that I ve been bringing to Joel for various repairs over the past 2 years. At least 15 - 20 different times. I don t understand some of the negative reviews I ve read. Maybe people who had 1 bad experience for whatever reason who never came back. Well, I m a repeat customer and I recommend them highly.This shop is great. Everyone s extremely nice and friendly, and Gene's a fantastic mechanic. Very conscientious. Always a fair price and won t fix something if it s not needed.Keep in mind this is a hole-in-the-wall place on Buford Hwy. It is neither clean nor fancy. If you want a big, pristine auto repair shop who ll do unnecessary work and charge you an arm and a leg for all their fantastic customer service, Joel is not the place for you. These are just honest folks who do good work and try to save you money on repairs. I like that.

I have been going to Joel's Auto for over three years. As a dealer, I've needed their services quite a bit over the years and I've never been disappointed. I had a check engine issue with my Wrangler YJ. It was difficult to diagnose due to it's age. They were able to get the fault code and made the repair. I picked up my Jeep the next day. The owners were a delight to work with and they provided great and knowledgeable service. Good shop, great folks.

They performed a pre-purchase inspection for me and were very thorough. I was looking at buying an older model suv and I am out of state, they worked with me and the dealer. His inspection was very thorough and extremely helpful in negotiating with the dealer. And they did not ask me to write a review, but I wanted to because I was so impressed with their work and customer service.

I was in dare need of Rotors and brakes; Joel and his staff where very kind and helpful and fixed my issue. They gave me a ride home when i dropped off my vehicle and called me when it was ready. They fixed my issues perfectly and had me back at work before Noon. I recommend Joel Auto Motive to anyone that has a budget like me and needs good dependable service. I will be going back to him for my services from now on. He has great prices and even does oil changes and tire rotations.

Pastor Richard and his team went above and beyond to make sure I received great service! Being new to the area they not only took care of my vehicle but offered great advice on my transition to Georgia. They work was quick and the price was fair. I will be a returning customer for sure.

Had an appt with another mechanic on 8/13/18 and they told me I had a crack that was leaking transmission fluid and it was $250 to fix but they were just very rude during the whole visit . so I went on google for another shop and found I called him last min and he told me to bring it in 8/ 12/18 (which was the next day) just to get another opinion before I spend all that money I took the car in greeted with a smile everyone was so happy and friendly . I told him what was going on and he went to take a look. After looking over everything he actually brought me in the work area while the car was lifted to show me that THERE WAS NO CRACK! There wasn t even a leak . He told me the check engine light was on because the temperature sensor was broken .all I needed was an oil change there wasn t any oil I m the car . So $250 turned into 50 bucks . I highly recommend this place great experience

Had to get my bearings replaced and mechanic Eugene made it happen in great timely manner, did everything right and was super nice! Priced me fairly. Gave me advise on what else could be upgraded in my car. The most important of all the whole team here works on REALLY fixing your vehicle not fixing the way you have to be back in a week to fix something else. Most of these auto repair shops will fix the problem you have with your car, if they fix it, but they will do something to it so something else brakes in a week and you have to go back to them over and over again.. No dirty business here at Joel auto repair. I will recommend this place to all of my friends and I recommend it to you!

I came in to get my brakes done about a week ago and i must say i am very glad I found this place. Very affordable and the owner was extremely nice and honest. i checked around several places brake service and he had the best prices in the area. I was told it would take about an hour and a half to do the job but they completed the job in about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their brakes done!

Joel's Auto Repair is the best around! Great prices, expert technicians and friendly service. I trust them with my older 2004 Altima, with 194k miles, to keep it on the road. Going for 275k. Well worth the 20 min ride from Suwanee. Highly recommended!

I've been going to Joel's for the last five years, and have been disappointed with the service lately. I used to enjoy going and chit-chatting with the desk guys and the mechanics, and never felt like i was being taken advantage of service or bill-wise just for being a woman. They changed ownership recently, and I've been more and more uncomfortable spending time and money in the shop, and have gone out of my way to avoid it. After searching other mechanics in town, Ernest Auto right down the street goes above and beyond, and I'll be sending everyone I know there instead of telling them about Joel's.
