I brought my 2005 Ford freestar that had a blue book value of $850 in for repairs. I chose this location because a family member had just hired them to take care of their company fleet of vehicles. When I received a quote that the repairs would cost $6,000 and the van was too dangerous to drive, I decided against repairs. I asked John lee, the owner, if he had any use whatsoever for the vehicle. Figured that maybe they could fix it up for a shop truck or maybe even fix it and resell it. I was told that it had absolutely no worth and he was just going to send it to the scrap yard if I did not want the car back. I gave him the vehicle in exchange for the cost of the inspection because I was in a hurry and didn't want to deal with it. A week later I passed by and I see that they are washing my vehicle in the front of the shop. I asked the employee what they're going to do with that beautiful Ford freestar. I was told oh this is for sale. I definitely do not trust the owner of this repair shopand would advise everyone to go anywhere else but full line auto.

Full Line Auto Care (Owner: John C. Lee)The business had two locations . The one I have been to is located at [ 5656 Buford Hwy Norcross, Ga 30071 ]This car repair shop failed to resolve a straightforward Engine Light issue despite having my car for a full 9 days. Despite my objections, the mechanic proceeded to dismantle my engine but failed to reassemble it correctly, resulting in severe damage to my vehicle. Despite the subpar service, John still demanded $1,200 from me. I was forced to seek assistance from the Chevrolet dealer to rectify the damage, incurring an additional cost of $2,700.John's approach involved criticizing previous repair places, attempting to convince customers that their cars had extensive damage, likely to encourage return visits for further repairs. When he couldn't fix the car's problem, he shifted blame back to the previous repair shop. The owner's behavior was unprofessional and childish. He refused to show the business license when requested, hanging up the phone abruptly or avoiding confrontation by closing the window when approached in person. On January 17, 2024, after checking with the Georgia Secretary of State, I discovered information for only one shop, with no data for the location on Buford Hwy. It was revealed that the license had expired in 2015 but had recently been renewed. Upon further investigation with the Norcross court, I found that the business address was under a different business name at that location.Given these circumstances, would you trust this business with your car?

This review is late, but I am so grateful that Full Line Auto Care was there for me in one of the most stressful moments of my life. My husband was having surgery and on the way to the hospital, my tire became flat. I drove into their parking lot, desperately looking for help because Roadside Assistance wouldn't get to me for at least 2 hours. They put my spare on and ordered a replacement in less than 30 minutes. I didn't make the beginning of his surgery, but I was there for his recovery. They called to check on me and give me updates on the new tire. When I arrived, they replaced the tire immediately and I left feeling a lot less flat than I did before.Thank you, Full Line Auto.

They broke the lug nut from changing my tire and never mentioned a word about it, someone texted to see why I hadn t been coming back. I explained everything only for them to not respond. Very disappointed in this place. First experience was pretty good however the customer service and quality after that was terrible.

The Shop does great work. They are very reliable and work hard to get the repairs done and done right. I am definitely a customer who will be bringing my vehicles back to their shop if any issues further down the line are to come up.

I took my car here after it broke down. They quoted me at $4500 for the repairs. I took it to someone else and they said that a few of the parts they wanted to replace didn't even need to be replaced and that they would fix the actual broken parts for $1500. Full line said I needed to replace my air compressor. They said it was $2200 and then called back and said it was actually $3200. Full line auto is inexperienced and in my opinion scumbags. I talked to Jimmy the most and he did not give me any confidence whatsoever. Don't waste your time or money on this place they will squeeze you for every penny you have.

I saw this shop driving by it and stoped by to get some transmission work done. They share the building with Napa auto parts. The mechanic couldn t find a dipstick for my transmission. Well my transmission doesn t have one, most newer cars don t. This mechanic did not know that. I was quoted one price and up charged at the end. They also lied to me about needing brake work done (My breaks were replaced a month ago). They disconnected my brake sensors on purpose to sell me a break service. Another shop reconnected them. The staff here exemplify dishonesty. Stay away from these folks.

I made an appointment for a pre purchase inspection on a used vehicle. Jimmy Mackel took my information and told me the inspection would take approximately an hour. I left my vehicle and went to the gas station. Before I left, the vehicle was in the parking lot, not yet inspected, when I returned (no more than 15 minutes), the vehicle was back in the parking lot with the inspection apparently completed. I asked if the vehicle has any leaks, Jimmy told me checking for leaks isn t part of the inspection! No engine oil was checked, no transmission oil was checked, and when I asked him how it only took 15 minutes to complete an hour long inspection, he flat out lied to me and told me it took an hour. They re a scam. Take your vehicle elsewhere. Jimmy was super disrespectful, and unprofessional. Very unfit for his job.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Tires

This team is incredibly professional, courteous, and does fantastic work.I broke down on I 85 just north of downtown Atlanta and got a tow to this place. I've had no prior experience here. Additionally, the car was left on the 4th of July, so it was closed and I had to use a key drop. They called me first thing in the morning, had a diagnostic review by early afternoon, a reasonable quote, and had it fixed the next day.Service: General repairs & maintenance

10/10 highly recommended! My family has been taking their cars to John at Full Line Auto and suggested I take my BMW there when I bought it. Obviously I needed a trusted mechanic to take care of my baby and John and the whole crew have been amazing! They are super communicative and responsive. I received a 10% off coupon the first time I went for an oil change that I was able to redeem to get my brakes done, saved me $100!

Diagnosis is about 100$ itself which would be put towards maintanence. I had an engine light issue and they kept my car for over a day so I had to spend extra money ubering around just for them to tell me the next day that they couldn t figure out what the light was on for and it could be about 6 different issues that they d have to take apart a lot of pieces to figure out what it was which of course made me really uncomfortable since I didn t know how many more days they ll need to actually figure out the main issue and if in the end of it all If they could actually find the issue. So in the end I couldn t find trust in the mechanic, lost out on money and still drove around with my car unfixed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

BE AWARE They claimed to have completed work that they didn t. Another shop confirmed they lied. A guy by the name of Jimmy was the main culprit. I m having to redo the work all over again. Don t get scammed by Jimmy. He s very unpleasant to deal with when you call him out.Services: Engine repair, BrakesServices: Engine repair, Brakes

I recently brought my car to Full Line Auto Care in Norcross to get an oil change. They called and said that my car was leaking oil in several places and that my seals needed replacing. They also said that some drive belts were starting to visibly crack, so they suggested I get them changed as well. John and staff were very communicative with me about the process, and even admitted that they made a mistake and crimped a seal and that they needed to keep my car for longer so they could replace it. Today, I noticed a nail or screw in my tires, so I called and asked if they could look at my tire. They asked me to come in, and they were able to repair it in less than 15 minutes! That's what I call service! I'll definitely be back!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

In from another state, I experienced car trouble on the road. After arriving at my destination, I contact the shop, was seen without an appointment, and after the expected wait to accommodate working me in, my car was expertly repaired, at a fair market price. The personal were professional and courteous.I highly recommend this shop.

Great customer service, we chose this place because it was close to the dealership we were car shopping. Took a car to get it checked out before purchasing it. We were given about an hour wait, which they got us in as quickly as possible which I appreciated. When they were done, they gave us an in depth run down of the car and what we needed to be sure of before we purchased the vehicle. The waiting room was clean and not too cold or hot. The seats were comfortable and the folks in the office were polite.I do not live in this area of town, but if I did, I would definitely be back. Great auto shop.
