Ernest does great, great work on my truck! I am so happy that I found his garage. I recommend him for all car and truck repairs! He is very professional and there are no long delays in getting your vehicle back. All other customers I have seen at his place seem extremely pleased with the service, too. There seem to be many regulars, which my dad always told me was a very good sign with a mechanic.

The best mechanic you ll ever find! I was recommended to Ernest s Auto Repair almost a year ago and haven t looked elsewhere since. Mr. Ernest is extremely efficient with his work, honest, and friendly. There s seating to wait. Ernest is one of the most honest and caring mechanics that I know. He is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable about leaving your car in his care. He is transparent with pricing and accommodating. I recommend him to everyone! My friends car was inoperable for months in the care of another mechanic, I recommended Ernest to her and he repaired the car in 2 days! She hasn t had any issues since then. He will not disappoint you.

I came in a couple of weeks ago for 6 codes and my car was stalling. In less than 30 mins, and also dealing with 3 other clients at the same time, he was able to pin point what the issue was. He brought me into the garage and showed me the problem. He reset the throttle body and just like that my car was fixed. With 6 codes, he could have taken advantage but instead he was completely honest and very professional. Very refreshing!!! I will continue to come here and I highly recommend this place! Ernest is awesome!

Ernest Auto Repair is a great place to take your vehicle. We've had Earnest as our mechanic of choice for two cars now, over the course of eight years. Ernest is super friendly, entirely honest, very affordable and super fast! I really can't recommend him enough. If I could give him ten stars, I would. Ernest is the most honest, affordable and reliable mechanic I have ever dealt with. Hands down. Period. I ran into car trouble with both of my vehicles at the same time and Ernest gave quality repairs on one vehicle to get it running while he did repairs on my other vehicle. Fair prices and honest diagnostics. I refer everyone I know to Ernest. You will not be disappointed!

I had an issue with my radiator and vehicle overheating. I couldn't drive it to him, so I described the problem to him over the phone. I asked for an estimate on the high end based on what I described. He said could have been my radiator, and with labor I believe the quote was close to $400 (I always round up in my head); or, it could have been just the hose that busted which would be about $150. I had my vehicle towed to his shop just before closing. I still had not met him. He called me the next day and told me I could come and get my vehicle and that it was only the hose and my total was even cheaper than the lower quote. He could have told me it was the higher priced issue.This is what you call great old fashion customer service. Very professional, personable and with a sense of humor!Just FYI: I'm a female by the way. I've gone to places being in a desperate situation such as this before because it's my ONLY vehicle and more often than not, they try to take advantage of that by trying to sell me high priced services that I don't need. I appreciate Ernest's integrity. I WILL be going back for my car service needs.UPDATE: I'm STILL patronizing Earnest!! Most recent visit was today 17June2022! I've referred him to family and friends. EVERYONE I've referred have been more than pleased. There's NOTHING like GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Ernest is absolutely the best mechanic I have ever been to. He is kind, honest, and does excellent work at a very fair price. He fixes whats needed and never presses to have anything else added to the list. I also really appreciate that he takes the time to show me the problem on the vehicle while giving a very comprehensive explanation of what's gone wrong.

Ernest is a honest and reputable mechanic! After being told I need a new compressor and I had a leak. I went in for a second opinion on my A/C. He found no leak, and my compressor was fine, I just needed Freon. Priced great and he fixed it in about 30 mins. Officially won t be going back to franchised auto mechanics. Very Honest guy.. Knowledgeable about cars and pricing is unbeatable. I was on edge after Dodge ripped me off for $150. But Ernest was thorough in his diagnosed evaluation. I'll refer anyone to him for car needs. Thanks a million, Keisha.

Ernest is simply the BEST! I have used him for all of our family's cars for years and he is very trustworthy, reliable, and most of all very reasonably priced compared to other mechanics. If there is something he cannot do, he will be quick to refer you to someone good, instead of experimenting on your car.

Meant to leave a review months ago but I m a busy mom. I found Ernest one morning after my old mechanic broke my radiator. I was so happy the way Ernest looked out for me I couldn t thank him enough. He s amazing and I will refer everyone I can to him. Your car is in great hands and he s very HONEST.

Do yourself a favor and take your car to Ernest. Beyond impressed with His knowledge, care and truthfulness in going through anything wrong with my car. I have an old car that lived most of its life in Vermont so I am always in need of a mechanic and have only ever trusted 2 in my life, Ernest being one of them. He is detailed in his explaining of anything that needs to be done and why and goes above and beyond. No need to look any further for a lifelong mechanic for your cars. He s the guy.

I would like to give 10 stars. I was reluctant to give this great review for Ernest because it's going to mean he will have a lot more customers and I will have to wait to get an appointment for his super professional expertise in mechanics and his fair and honest business ethics!PLUS: he's a great guy and funny. God bless him! I take three cars to him and buy used cars just so I have a reason to go!~

Great experience, car was done the same day I took it with reasonable pricing. Ernest was very friendly, even gave a parting gift lol. Id definitely recommend him and will be going back if and when needed!

I replaced my electronic throttle box and could not get my care to drive. I called and was told why my car was sending the error code it was and that it will cost a low price to fix. I towed my car there. Ernest put my car on the computer to fix the throttle issue and found that my throttle relay was out. Must have happened when I changed the battery. He changed the relay and did not charge me for it.After I picked up the car and scanned for codes, I found another code. Ernest told me where to check and possibly replace to try and save me money. If it does not fix it, bring it back and he will fix it for a fee. I love that he would give a DIY person some pointers to save them money!!!!I appreciate his honesty and helpfulness. He will be my mechanic!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was in dire need of a mechanic when I came across his shop. Tired of dealing with these big commerical stores so I went to him. I took my car to him three times this week to get three different things done and each time it was a pleasant experience. His prices are very reasonable and he is not trying to get over on you. I purchased a belt to get installed and he returned it to me saying that all my belts are new and I dont need it. Any other mechanic would have done it anyway. You also dont spend all day long waiting for you car to finish. Each time I went I was there for no more than hour. A very genuine and pleasant guy. Would definitely recommend his services to anyone! Very honest man!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Ernest is a kind, humorous and honest businessman. After the first job I immediately brought him my second vehicle that needed work. That's how satisfied I was! Repairs can be stressful but this man minimized that and even hit me with a small candy before I left to take the edge off. Such a sweet touch ;-)

I had my truck repaired last week. It actually stopped running in the their parking lot. It is back up and running well. The price was lower than other places I had checked. Matt was very nice & professional. Mr Eddie was pleasant as well. Happy my son found them through Google & will be using them again if needed.

Not good place at all. Ernest messed up my car and will not take responsibility for it. He replace my valve cover gasket and my car didn t start afterwards. He did not know what happened to my car and couldn t figure what was wrong. I took my car to the shop where my car was bought at and found out a spark plug seal drummet inside my timing chain. He is not good at diagnosing cars and not responsible!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Most dishonest mechanic I have ever met. I took my car to this place because it was having transmission problems. He tells me that is the wheel bearing and charges 600 dollars to supposedly fix that. He calls and says my car is ready and when I get there he says that the transmission needs to be fixed and that he doesn't do that work. I take my car to the transmission place and they cannot explain why he had to fix the wheel bearing when clearly the transmission was not working and that would cost me 5000 to get it fixed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The other day I took my Dodge Caliber to Ernest after calling multiple shops for pricing and availability, I chose Ernest, and I felt like a winner! He replaced my power steering pump, at the quoted price and with fast service! This coming Monday I will go back to get some other issue parts replaced. Thanks Ernest Auto Repair!!!!!!
