Let me start by saying I've had good experiences with this location in the past. But this last one takes the cake. I took a set of wheels to AWRS to be stripped and powder coated. Something that they are known for and do everyday. I dropped them off one day and they called the next day to tell me they were ready. Upon inspecting them right away I noticed one of them was missing coating on a good portion of the barrel of the wheel. So I take the three that were seemingly finished and left the one to be re-done. When I get home and started to clean up the three I noticed multiple runs and sags in the finish. The next day they call to say the re-do is complete. I showed the imperfections on the other 3 to the rep and he agreed it wasn't right and agreed to refinish them. This time I took the car to them and left it, which is something I wasn't too keen on doing but I did it anyway. I asked to speak to a manager this time and the same rep sort of ignored that request and assured me he would make sure it was done correctly. Got the call the next morning that it was ready. I asked him to make sure they had been inspected and all was good. He assured me they were but I asked to speak to a manager anyway. She assured me that she herself had inspected them and all was good. So I made my 6th 40 min trip to pick up the car. When I show up they were totally confused as to the status of the job. It's like no one talks to each other between the back of house and front of house. Finally they pull it around and upon inspection one of the rear wheels was yet again missing coating, this time on the front of the wheel!!!I'll also mention that each time I showed these imperfections to them they all act like it's a regular occurring thing. They just say "okay we'll redo it and call you when it's done. No apologies at all.I was finally able to speak to the area manager on the phone. While he listened to the problem he really offered no solution. His response was he could not personally put his eyes on it because he's on the road most of the day and leaves the office before most jobs are finished. I spoke to him twice and he was no help at all.So finally I show up today to pick up the car and inspect the wheels yet again and they're still not right. Coating missing inside the lug wells and those same lug wells reamed out around the edges. I'm so frustrated I just took the car home and will never ever use this place again.IF YOU NEED WHEEL REPAIR DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They care nothing about quality and their customers.

I recently hit a series of potholes on I-85, resulting in damage to all four wheels of my BMW. After conducting some online research, I came across Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists, as well as another place that was unreasonably expensive. Consequently, I opted for Alloy Wheel Repair. When I brought my vehicle in for repair, I had the pleasure of speaking with Sharon, who reassured me that this was their everyday specialty and that I had come to the right place. They did an outstanding job, delivering precisely what they had promised. They were truly amazing, and the turnaround time was remarkably quick, only taking two business days. I dropped off the vehicle on Tuesday, and on Thursday morning, they called to inform me that it was ready for pick-up. Effective communication played a pivotal role, as their customer service was exemplary, and every staff member was exceptionally friendly. I must admit that I'm puzzled by some of the negative reviews they've received. These are exceptional people to do business with, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved.Service: Powder coating

I contacted AWRS to refinish a set of Ferrari wheels on my personal car. When I got them back, I was a little disappointed as there was a lot of "trash" in the paint but the next day, I went outside and ALL FOUR TIRES were flat.I had to jack the car up and remove all 4 wheels to sent them back. The driver admitted they were having issues with newer employees but when he came back two days later, the color was different and now 2 of the wheels STILL GO FLAT (In less than 3 days)I do not want to do business with them again and I warn anyone else to be careful moving forward to them.I emailed the owner to give them an opportunity to correct the problem but he did not return my email.

Let me start of by saying how impressed I was with the service. The service was fast, professional and honest! I was in and out in less than 10 minuates. Amazing work by Tenzin Phunstok very professional. He got me checked out, took my tire for a inspection and fixed my leaking valve stem all in a timely fashion and then sent me on my way. Safe to say this is the best wheel repair shop around the cities folks!

2 stars because they did fully repair one of the wheels.I had minor curb rashes on my 2 wheels. One of them was repaired but the other still shows damages. I didn t even want to work with them but the tire and wheel warranty company has a contract with them so I had to do it.I refuse to believe someone saw this and said, okay, looks good! Some more training or basic quality control can prevent this in the future. If you pay cash, please pay close attention to the repairs. Very sloppy work and will be getting it repaired through another party.

I wanted to purchase new rims, but ran across this website. I spoke with Brandy who encouraged me to come in and take a look at what they had to offer. Once there, Brandy explained the process, and I was hooked. The outcome speaks for itself. These are good people...even offered me a Pepsi and some food!Service: Powder coatingService: Powder coating

Very dissatisfied with Sevice and Quality of work I was provided, from May to August thats how long they had my wheels, with false dead lines and no updates i had to show up in person and speak with management to figure out the status, in hopes of them having for so long I would expect good quality work but no another dissapointment and to add to that they lost my tire sensors, in short if you have quality wheels dont take them, they will end up worse then when you brought them in. With "thats the best we can do". Texture all around the barrel,

These folks are the best. Took our 2019 VW Arteon to them because the dealer told us it had two bent rims. They examined all four wheels and tires and found that the problem was not the rims at all. They mounted and balanced two new tires for us and we were back on the road. Great service and communication!

I needed 2 wheels redone after a minor accident. I had gotten an estimate from a competitor of AWRS and it was a lot more to do the same thing, strip, powder coat and diamond cut the face. I read some reviews and was a little reluctant. Spoke to the GM and he assured me I'd be satisfied. I have to say they came through with flying colors. Turned the wheels around in 24 hours and look great. I will use them again if need be in the future.

Terrible experience, got my wheel repaired a couple months ago and as soon as tire shop installed tires there was an air leak from the repair. Unfortunately I agree for the tire shop to put a plug which only lasted a couple months and alloy wheel repair refused to even look at it. Go somewhere else for crack wheels, tire crack repair is not something they should be doing

Placed an order for a rim on Friday Nov 17 via my tire specialist at Mavis. Was told my wheel was ordered and should be in within 3-5 business days... before thanksgiving. Still didn't have my car back a week later, I called the Friday after thanksgiving, and was told my wheel was as just ordered, on Nov 24 due to a"miscommunication" on their end. Today, I get a call from Sharon at Alloy admitting to the miscommunication on their end, and that there's nothing she can do. She also said that she understands the customer's point of view, clearly NOT. I haven't had my car for far longer than I should because of their poor communication and management, the least she couldn't do is discount the wheel price for their error and miscommunication that's costing me more money than it should. I chose to support a small business, (never again), if I would have taken my car to Audi, yes I would have paid a bit more, but I would have had a NEW wheel and my car back in a day... not 2 weeks. Do better...

Recently had a situation where I hit a crater of a pothole in my BMW 750Li and it insta-flattened my two driver side tires (left front, rear front) and bent the rims on both. Dropped off my car on a Wednesday at Allow Wheel Repair Specialists on Medlock road to have both wheels repaired (front had vibration and rear wouldn't even hold air due to flat spot on rim) and refinished (both had some abrasions from curb rubs). I have some nice aftermarket rims with splined lugs that require a special socket to remove which I keep in the car. I told them it was in the glove box and offered to bring it in to the store with the key and they said to just put it in the cup holder where the technician would know to look.Per their request, I moved the lug socket to the cup holder and they told me the turnaround was 24-48 hours and they would call me when it was ready. I made sure they had my cell number (verified).Day 1 passed, no call (Thursday). Day 2 passed, no call (Friday). Now it is Saturday, I need the car for the weekend and I am figuring they have limited hours. Tried calling Saturday morning and went to their afterhours voicemail even though the VM message said they were open 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and I was calling about 10:15 AM. Disappointing.Checked Google Maps and saw that it said they were [only] open until 11:00 AM on Saturdays so headed over immediately in hopes that I could at least pay and come back again when someone else was available to bring me over and pick it up (the store is ~35-40 minutes away from me).Got there at 11:01 AM and they were closing up but was able to pay and get the key. Checked and saw that both wheels were clearly refinished. Went home and waited for someone to be available to get the car. Eventually was able to go back later that night to pick up the car and when I got in, realized the wheel lock socket was missing and not in the cup holder, glove box, or trunk. Disappointing. Also took a closer look a the refinishing and noticed that the front wheel definitely did not look as cleanly done (looked like drips/bubbling) in the finish. Still looks good at 20-feet away but I have had the same wheels refinished in the past through Bimmers and they came back looking brand new last time. Disappointing. So, based on the experience above, I am removing 3 stars - 1 each - for not calling when they said they would, not returning my specialty socket, and not doing as great a job on the wheel refinishing as I expected.Hopefully others will have a better experience that I did. I will likely look for other options if I have to refinish again in the future before I bring my wheels back to this company.NOTE: Including pictures of the left front wheel with uneven finish and receipts from the shop and AutoZone for the replacement socket since they didn't return mine.

Just had the 2 piece rims on my 2002 BMW refinished and they turned out so incredibly good and the folks at the store, Jenny, knew their stuff so well that I had to write a review. Have had the car for 18 years and just had the car repainted so it was time to something about the 18 year old rims. Researched and read reviews for rim refinishing places in Atlanta for 4-6 hours and request a quote. Phillip replied very quickly, the price was very reasonable for the amount of work required and I was able to drop the car off on a Saturday as they open on Saturdays for car drop offs. (This really helped as I have to work during the week.) On Saturday morning Jenny inspected the wheels with me and described how the wheels would be refinished and what I should expect as the end result. I was confident that this was a really legitimate place. When I returned to pick the car up it looked like brand new rims had been installed on the car.. They also installed new lug nuts.. The Rims basically look completely brand new.. Thank you to Jenny and team for making me smile everytime I walk up to the car.. See attached pics..Service: Powder coating

My brother and I are both satisfied with the amazing job Aaron did. He came out to our work place and hook us all the way up. My brother got model X and I have the model Y. We both had curb scratches on our rims, but Aaron make it looks all brand new again. Highly recommend Aaron Jones for anyone that need wheel repairs.

Service was fantastic. Keith came out to my home and worked his magic in a flash. He was professional and courteous and the end result was incredible. A simple scuff can make your car look drab and now that it is repaired it looks brand new. I would definitely recommend!

I was satisfied with the repair on my tire. Most importantly the customer service. Courtney assisted me with getting my tire out of the car. She also stayed and waited for me for to pick up when I called and stated I was arriving right at 5:33. That was remarkable!

I had some curb rash on one of my rear wheels and had almost considered buying a new wheel. Glad I chose not to and instead had Alloy Wheel Repair repair it. They came out within a couple of days and did a great job on repairing the damage and color match. Reasonably priced too.

Avoid at all costs, see photos, various attempts for one job. They have grown faster than they can keep up with quality of service and customer service. Worst car related experience in Atlanta after a history of good experiences here. The people at the front desk care and are helpful but the service manager Sal and GM Phil are incapable of getting the job done even close to right and following through with promises. More detailed account including my interactions with GM and Service manager to come on an Atlanta car chat near you. They spent FOUR attempts trying to powder coat basic wheels in one basic color. The first was the incorrect color despite having all four wheels and doing an off the shelf color less than a year before. The other three times were in a new color since that color isn t available anymore. What I picked up was full of runs (every single wheel) to the point that after the third attempt Phil said the night crew that does everyone s wheels can t do the basic task, so he had Sal the service manager do it. Sal s work still had runs everywhere I was promised by Phil that they would get the wheels right first then make it right by me after. The wheels in the last four photos were dumped on me and Phil did nothing to make it right. I asked for a refund after attempt #4 so I could have someone else get it right since even the service manager couldn t powder the wheels properly. Instead Phil ignored my calls and texts. The service manager admitted the first time after getting the wheels redone that, I didn t look at them and I should have. Check out the first three photos. Mind blowing. See the rest of the photos for yourself, this is literally how the service manager and GM sent the wheels out after multiple attempts and promises that they would get it right. Photos 1-3 what they send out for me to pick up after getting the color completely wrong the first time.Photos 4-7 what the service manager did himself and what the GM had delivered to me after the 4th attempt and promise to get the wheels perfect.

Great service, extremely professional, friendly, convenient and on time! Big thank you to Chris for making his way out and making me feel so comfortable through the process. Just bought my car 2 weeks before I rubbed it across a curb. I was terrified since the car had special wheels and color but they did an amazing job! You can t tell where it ever happened! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
