If I could give zero stars, I would. I needed the wheel bearings on my car replaced. Pep Boys in Newnan was recommended after another shop said the tech they had didn't want to be bothered with it. After three days, they told me that it would cost $1800. I was told several other things were wrong that had to be fixed and that they couldn't just replace the wheel bearings. I took my car to another reputable shop that checked my car and replaced the wheel bearings for less that $300. They also told me that other than some normal wear and tear, there was nothing else wrong with my car. Unless you like paying a large amount of money for unnecessary work, you should avoid the Pep Boys on Marketplace Drive.

They did an excellent job. They were fast, professional and thorough. The mechanics even gave me assistance on how to better handle the active factory recall on my vehicle.

First time at this location. This was a great experience. Fast and efficient service. I could instantly tell a difference in my vehicle performance after driving away. Robert was knowledgeable and efficient with front counter service. The garage technicians were focused as well. I will definitely return for future services!

Always a great experience when I come to this Pep Boys location. Bizmark was very polite over the phone and when I eventually showed up to the store, he made sure that I would have what I needed in a timely manner. When my car was returned, I did not experience any issues.

My review isn t based on just one experience, but more than 20 visits overall. We ve been bringing our cars to Pep Boys of Newnan since 2017, and every appointment has been a positive experience. They ve done every type of service for us: oil change, breaks, tires, spark plugs, battery, and shocks.

The folks at the Pep Boys store were awesome! Couldn't be any better. But I ordered the tires from Pep Boys BECAUSE they said they could do the work on Saturday. the online booking was set, the appointment made -- only to find out the tires had not been sent by Pep Boys to the store. Maybe it would be there the next day. They were not. Monday, they also didn't come in, On Tuesday they arrived, but Pep Boys was booked, and I couldn't get the tires put on until Thursday. One the store had my car -- service was excellent, and it wasn't the store's fault. Pep Boys Online is at fault. The application should not have scheduled and booked me an appointment that couldn't be kept.

4 stars for being open at 8a on Sunday!!! On my journey home to the panhandle my diagnostics screamed at me about a low tire. I stopped in and in just under a couple of hours got an oil change and the tire checked and filled with air and on the road with confidence. I didn t appreciate the suggestion that I needed a new battery or my car would slow down on my way home lol, but that s what pep boys force their associates to do. I was also shocked that even with a coupon that an oil change on an older Tahoe was just shy of $95!!! I suppose it was the price of peace of mind. Thanks for being open last Sunday!

Disappointed in the communication and customer service. Work and product seem to be okay, no issues with those.I purchased new tires and made an appointment for 11am the next day. I was told it would take 1 to 1.5 hours. Dropped the truck off at 11 and came back after an hour and the truck hadn t been touched. After waiting another 2.5 hours in the waiting room, without any communication from them, I stood at the desk for several minutes to get an update. Was told it was taking longer than expected because the lug nuts were swollen on. After another 30 minutes it was finished.4 hours for a 1.5 hour job and zero communication.I understand things happen and jobs take longer but the failure to text or call about the delay is the reason I will not use Pep Boys again.

This Pep Boys is trustworthy and efficient. They have done my tires twice. The roadside warranty really helped, when I ran the car over a curb, popping a tire. They just replaced my bad battery. I highly recommend them.

The customer service was great. The Manager (Antonio) was very pleasant and helpful, explaining everything that needed to be done to my car. I was in and out within an hour.

Me and my friends were going on a road trip and our tire pressure was going down so we stopped by because it was nearest to us, and Matthew took care of us quickly and efficiently! Very thankful for the friendly stop!

Pretty good service, but DO NOT use the online appointment/reservation system on the Pep Boys website. Scheduled an appointment for what looked like a very open timeframe on the website, then sat for 3 hours waiting for a tire rotation. I don't know what the gap is in that system, but don't trust it - call the shop directly.

The manager here was a life saver. What an incredibly knowledgeable guy, 2 weeks later I am still blown away.He helped point me in the right direction with repairing my boat trailer and I didn t even spend $1 in his store. What a true believer in customer satisfaction. I will shout from the rooftops about how GREAT this place is.

Jeffrey Jones was a great big help, did an amazing job on my car! Love the fact they got me right in with no wait time at all. He was very fast with fixing my tire as well! I will definitely recommend him to other people!

I have been using Pep Boys for many years. It is convenient and service has been always prompt, punctual and there always has beenn great communication until recently.My last interactions with PepBoys in Newnan are making me reconsider doing further business with this shop. Two weeks ago, I brought a flat tire for replacement, I removed it from my wifes vehicle and brought in for replacement under the "Road Hazzard" insurance, this was disclosed at that time. This was Saturday afternoon. I gave them all the needed info regarding vehicle and my contact numbers. I was informed that the tire was not available, but they were going to order it. I had to call on Monday as no updates were given to hear the employee saying that it was not shipped yet. Finally it was ready on Tuesday evening. When I showed up, the manager asked if I already paid for the new tire. I pointed out that it should be covered by the Road Hazzard insurance and without saying anything else he responded "That's not the way it works" and went silent. After an eternity waiting for him, he finally comes up and asks if the tires were installed on a Subaru Outback, giving me the dates. I said that must be correct, another eternity waiting while he types on the computer and he comes up with a bill for $50 something dollars saying that Tear and Wear applies...I understand that. NO other explanations. I walked away with the feeling that if I would have not said a thing, they would have charged me a whole new tire. Then I brought my sports car as I had a screw on a tire. Without looking, the same guy says that I needed a new tire as mine could not be repaired. This is a $320.00 tire. He claimed that the repair is on the shoulder, the nail was literally 1 1/2 inches away. I asked if a plug could be done and without any other explanation he said that no reputable shop would do a plug. Please, give me facts, not a statement with nothing to support it.I decided to go somewhere else, and it was repaired dilligently. Ohh, and they did it for free. This new shop will be doing my tires on all my four cars when the time comes.Other things that I noticed on PepBoys... long waits due to being short staffed, and everytime the manager is in the back shop, he is arguing with his crew. This is not a sign of a business that is running properly.

Antonio & Bismarck made my experience at this location stress free and quick. Came for an oil change and to troubleshoot a noise my vehicle was making . The issue was diagnosed , repaired and I could not be happier. I have been to other Pep Boys locations and actually have one closer to where I live but this location is well worth the extra miles. They are professional, attentive and thorough! Thanks again!

I managed 3 Pepboys in Florida and never have I told somebody who had a appointment that I had 2 walk ins before you and it will take a hour and 45 mins till I can even get your car into the shop I go to Pepboys because I managed 3 of them but this one needs a change last time I was here it took then 2 hours for a flat repair this place needs a new manager and new staff

Went in for an alignment. They tried to sell me a tire rod ends for $400. After I explain to them that I was a former ASC certified technician and could buy the parts for $100 and replace them in my garage in about 30 minutes they cut the price to $200. This is still high but I ve been sitting there for half the morning for an alignment I paid it just to get my car back. this is exactly why people do not trust auto repair shops. I tried to put in a review on their Website, but they would not allow it to post. Called customer service they were little to no help.

This shop is a joke. Don t go here unless you want to get ripped off. Tried to tell me my it s my master cylinder when it actually was only a bad connection. Kid who walked me to the back to see the vehicle while on the lift tells me, there are a bunch of things wrong with it . Go elsewhere.

Antiono Barnes was my service mangerFrom the first phone call at 8 in the morning until the moment I left Pep boys his service was remarkable.1. phone call answered courtesy made me feel that I would be in honest reliable and professional hands2. Upon my arrival the courteous smile and professionalism continued.3. I told him what I thought the issue was with my car. He explained step by step the service they would provide. Told me I would get a detail picture that would explain what I needed if any.4. After they check out the car Antonio came over and discussed what they found, what they would do and the cost. as well as the time it would take to provide the service.5. There was. two other male customer waiting and spoke about his genuine attitude, serving with a smile and his professionalism, I agree whole heartedly with them both6. The service was great the price was reasonable the time of service worked well for me. A timely in and out.Pep Boys you have a true employee he s honest, professional and pleasantI give him and this location 5 plus stars

Robert and the rest of the team at Pep Boys (85 marketplace Newnan, GA) were amazing! I was seen at my appointment time and my car was completed in a timely fashion. Outstanding customer service, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If I need any future car services I will be choosing this location! Thank you Robert and team for making my experience hassle/worry free. My car drives like I just drove off the lot....thanks!!

Let s start this off, I am back here again for another tire rotation and balance with alignment check. Appointment is at 9am and was told it will be done in about 2 hours. Previously was done in about 1.25 hrs. This is just a balance and rotation in which has been done properly within 30 mins. And alignment check in about 45mins. Going to get picked up and let s see when I get the notification of when my car completes I ll keep everyone posted.
