Have been using Don for a few short years now. Thankfully our cars don t need too much, but I will say this about Don and his crew. They re good. They re honest. First time I brought my Jeep in, I had about 50k+ on it and I figured I probably needed brake pads. Brought it in for some basic service and asked that they look at the brakes. Many shops could have easily taken advantage of the opportunity and put on new pads. Not Don. I was told I had plenty of left, and I was on my way.Today I picked up my Jeep and had asked them again to look at the pads. I figured for certain I d need pads at 70k! They were honest again about the life left on them - and it saved me some bucks!Since my first visit, we have brought two Jeeps in for repair - one older 97 - and he s done right by us every time.Don is a good man. It s been nice getting to know him and he treats me right every time. His crew is good, friendly, they get the job done well, and they have not only earned my business, but my trust. I got recommended to Don's since a local mechanic couldn't service my vehicle due to the problem was out of their capabilities. Dons had my vehicle over Thanksgiving and had trouble locating the exact issue with my heat problem on my ford edge. But their determination helped them located the blocked heater valve issue and fix the part for my heat to work. Thank you again.

Honest and Fair.My wife had an issue with her tires and Mavis and tried to swindle her. Brought it to Don's to make sure and they brought me out to the car to show me the truth. We didn't need anything done.These are some of the most honest people I have ever met and they are fair in their pricing. If you are looking for a great mechanic that will be honest and take good care of you, these are the people!

This place is amazing!! I have never had an auto shop treat me so kindly. I am a girls and I don t know much about cars, but they wonderfully dealt with my odd descriptions of the sound my truck was making and worked hard to find the problem. When they did they got it fixed super quick (it was an easy fix but it was done by noon the same day). I will never take my truck to another place again, I am so happy I was recommended Don s.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Top notch service!!! only gave Don s a 5 star rating because 100 stars wasn t available. They genuinely care about their customers and the problems with the customers automobiles. While traveling to Newnan, GA, me and my father experienced an unexpected break down on I 85, just north of Newnan. Long story short, after no luck of getting into a service dept, I found Don s Automotive Service on Google and thank goodness I did. I explained our situation and they got my vehicle in the next day and was able to make the repair (rusted out transmission cooler lines, not a quick and easy repair!) and get me and my dad back on the road to return home. Don himself came to the hotel we were staying at and gave us a ride to his garage to pick up our ride, who does that???? No one!!! They even offer a warranty on their work!! Who does that??? No one!!! He sincerely cared that we were traveling out of town for a medical appointment and suffered an unexpected break down and was stuck in a hotel with no transportation. Great individual and caring human being!! The repair was top quality at a fair price and they know their stuff. True mechanics!! I would recommend Don's Automotive to everyone, no qualms whatsoever. The 5 star reviews don't do this establishment the justice it deserves. I do almost all of my own work on our vehicles, as I consider myself to be quite knowledgeable. However, after spending days trying to diagnose a problem with my wife's car, I finally gave up and took it to Don. In very short order he found the problem, got the parts and fixed it at a very reasonable price. The only problem is he made me look incompetent in my wife's eyes as before she thought I could fix anything. She is so happy with the car now that I don't even mind getting knocked off my pedestal.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I will never go to another auto mechanic again. They are the most honest, fair priced mechanics I ve ever used. I literally live 40 mins away and I will still drive or tow my car to them. I m so glad two people said I should use them. Thank you Dons automotive for your quick attention and help. It s so nice to have a mechanic that you Are confident will treat you well.

It makes me so happy I got recommended this place because they have been nothing but honest and reliable. I have gotten a new turbo, fuel injectors and my sensors done by don s and they ve done a great job in keeping communication and having it done in a timely matter. Thank you guys!

My family has been bringing our vehicles to Don's for over 15 years for oil changes and mechanical issues. Service is always fast and the prices are very reasonable. Great customer service and they always have detailed answers to all my questions.TIP- 3.5% charge for cards, so pay with cash or check.

Don and his service technicians are very knowledgeable and treat their customers with the upmost respect. They could have just thrown parts at my daughter's car, but instead they took the time to find the root of our issues. Their prices are reasonable and they have already built a trusting relationship with me. I will be returning to Don's Automotive for our future repair needs. Thanks Don for coming to rescue me! Top notch Service!Dons automotive saved our vacation. As we were driving from our campsite our van completely died- no power, all electrical went out. We got a jumpstart from a motorist and headed to a town to find a mechanic. On our way we called Dons automotive (based on his reviews) to see if they had any appointments. Don answered and said they couldn t fit us in because of all the current appointments with the holiday week. As we were talking to him our van lost power again. Don asked where we were and said he would come get us! About 20 minutes later Don arrived with a new battery and lead us to his shop to get our van looked at. We were blown away at his kindness and concern but overall excellent customer service. He gave us a car to use while our van was getting repaired and some advice on the towns best restaurants to eat at while we waited. He diagnosed us with a bad alternator and was able to save our battery! He also informed us of a warranty on our current alternator! Don was a blessing. We even got a courtesy follow up call from Don a few days later to make sure everything was working good. If you re in the area and need automotive service... I've used Don as needed for 16 years. Very, very honest and straightforward. If it does not need a repair, he'll say so. If it does, he'll also say so. It's not often you can find a mechanic you can trust! Don's Automotive is great. I have lived in Georgia a very short time. I need some repairs and saw great reviews for Dons Automotive. This place is great. Staff is awesome, Don listens to your issues. I have had both my vehicles here now and won t go anywhere else. I was taking my Hummer to a dealership, and each time I was walking out of there needing something big done. So this time I got a second opinion and the new expensive part I was told I needed, I don t really need.Thank you Don and staff!!! I have spread the word to family on where to go if they need work done.

We just moved from Minneapolis and got a recommendation to come to Don's Automotive. So happy we did! If you are looking for an honest repairman that will go the extra mile and understands you are on a budget - come to Dons! Hands down the best experience I've ever had with a vehicle!

Awesome service! Came in with what I thought was a big issue and before I left, Don and his team figured out what was wrong (turned out to be very simple) and I was out of there in less than 15 mins. I'm new to Newnan, so it's great to know that I've found an honest and reliable mechanic.

My truck failed it s emission test so I decided to take my truck to Dons Automotive based off of their great reviews and also because their website mentions they do transmission work. I called and made an appt so they could do the diagnostic, they called and said my truck was ready, when I got there they said they could do the work and that the diagnostic fee would go towards fixing the problem, everything was great. I waited a couple weeks to get the work done so that I could get the money in order to pay them. I dropped my truck off this morning 9/13 at 8am when they opened, I had an appt by the way, to get the work done. They called around 1:30 saying they couldn t do the work. So my truck sat there for five and half hours before they even looked at it. The explanation they gave was that basically it s not that they couldn t do the work they just didn t want to do the work because they didn t want to be liable for anything else going wrong with my truck. I asked the guy what was the price that was quoted to me on my original receipt and he says that it was just for the part and not the labor. Here s where my frustration comes into play, they should have told me from the beginning when I got the diagnostic that they couldn t do the work, instead of giving false promises and wasting my time and money. Honestly I wish I could give zero stars. I m just disappointed with this establishment because they did seem like genuine people it s just to bad their practices are deceptive.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto emissions testing

Excellent service and reasonable price!! My car broke down, I called and spoke to Daniel to explain her what was the problem, she was able to give me an appointment for the next day and a quote. By the way Daniel was very pleasant. They told me they were very busy but they fixed my car the same day. Sweet! Don was very attentive and he explained to me everything about the issue, he showed me the old part and the new work. Thumbs Up!

So pleased with the service and respect I received at Don's Automotive!! I moved to Newnan, GA a couple of months ago and this was the first time since moving that I needed service on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler. It was overheating and I needed a new water pump. Don and his technician diagnosed, repaired and checked everything over. Very professional and know what they're doing! So glad I found Don's, a very reliable and affordable repair shop!

A good mechanic you can trust is one of the most underrated things out there. I've been taking my cars to Don for the past three years. Before moving to the area I used the "big name" auto shops. I am here to say the work that Don and his guys do is far superior, and significantly cheaper. Jobs that took Goodyear and the like to do in three and four days takes Don and his guys a day and a half to do. They also provide personal care you can't find anywhere else. It's great to drop off/pick up your car, and have a genuine and friendly conversation with the guys there. They never make you feel rushed. They always take the time to explain everything, and make sure you are satisfied. As long as I live in the area, Don will have my business.

Don and the Don's Automotive Team are Fantastic! Excellent customer service and attention to detail! They picked up my car from my office and returned it the same day for my oil change and tune up! I didn't have to leave the office :) I would highly recommend Don's Automotive to anyone in need of a tune-up, oil change, or anything more serious! They are my new Go - To!

Don s Automotive is great! Being a transplant from Nashville, I have found my mechanic for life! He explains everything in detail & is a very honest mechanic! He does everything from routine maintenance to repair work! Give him a call to meet your mechanic needs! :)

I had taken my Cadillac to Don's Automotive because I had a issue with my power steering pump..at first I was skeptical because it's hard finding a mechanic who's honest and trustworthy based on past experiences. Coming here was the best decision I've made the people are very friendly they do a Great job and saved me from spending hundreds. I recommend everybody to go to Don's and I will b sure to let everybody know about them.. Thank You!!

This place was amazing. They answered all of my questions honestly and with integrity. My Toyota 4runner received the best care and it did not take long at all for them to fix my running problem. I would recommend this place to anyone with car troubles! Definitely going back there if my car needs work done again. 5 stars isn't enough for this place - above and beyond.

The guys at Don's are skilled, friendly, and above all, honest. Don and his technicians have gone above and beyond to help me understand my vehicles and what should and needs to be done to keep them in good shape, as well as helping me figure out and troubleshoot more abstract issues. Don has quoted any work I've wanted to be done before performing it, and I've never paid more than agreed on, gotten a service I didn't ask for or gotten a vehicle back later than was promised. They warranty all of their work, which has been unnecessary because all work done on my vehicles has been flawless. My vehicles are always returned in good condition, no oil stains on the carpet or grease on the steering wheel. I don't plan on ever visiting another mechanic.
