My daughter and I were in the parking lot of the Publix on Mt. Zion Road when her car (2021 Honda Civic) wouldn t start and the dashboard lights were flickering on and off. I decided to call Honda South to inquire about what could be causing this issue. The phone rang 2 times before an actual person in the repair department answered the phone. I told him what was happening with the vehicle, he asked where we were, after I told him, he said, I m on the way. You re on the way? , I repeated. He said, Yes. Okay, that wasn t the response I was expecting. I told my daughter that someone from Honda South was on the way. Johnnie Williams arrived in less than 6 minutes to jump-start the car s battery. Before sending us on our way, he checked the car again to make sure it was running properly and suggested that we come to the shop for a battery check. We got the battery check, it was good. I m grateful that Johnnie Williams went over and beyond our expectations to assist us. If you own a vehicle, you know how frustrating it can be when something unexpected happens to it while you re going about your day. TYG

If you should go to Honda South in Morrow, Georgia, be prepared to have something mysteriously go wrong with your car shortly after. My 2022 was in tip top shape before I took it for a simple oil change. A couple days after, I noticed my car was burning a considerable amount of gas. Coincidence? I dont think so because when I took it back to Honda to check it out, they told me it would be 200 + to run a diagnostics!! Hello...first of all, it is your brand!!! It's still practically new!!!!!! However, I decided to use the fuel treatment product to no avail. So by the time of my next service (only returned because I wanted them to be held accountable), I reminded CC that car was fine prior to previous service and please check issue for me. This time "diagnotics" dropped to 169 but still too high for me. I told the lady just do the oil change and I will just take the car elsewhere for diagnotics!!! I asked who I could speak with in reference to my concerns and she become very hostile toward me saying that would be her!! As she read notes from previous service, she stated the only thing they did was an oil change!! Like how do you know Miss?? Truth is, nobody knows what happens when your car goes to back!!! We can only trust they do right. BTW, after this last oil changer, service department had not even updated my "next service" sticker smh!! Does that mean my oil wasnt change?? Who knows with Honda South???? Save yourself the headache and stress and drive the extra ten miles to McDonough or Conyers!! Honda south is trash!!!!!!!!

Once again y'all didn't let me down. Mr. Eric is the best, I was looking for Mrs. Thompson but she's no longer there. But Mr. Eric is the BEST straight forward, honest and Great Customer Service. Y'all need to help, teach or train Honda in Union City, Ga something no stars for them. But Thanks again for y'all hard work plus great customer service I appreciate y'all.

I have been getting my oil changed here for at least 6 years. Just got my oil changed in March with no issues. I arrive on 06-10-23 to get an oil change and they inform me that oil changes are only by appointment. WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN??? This business sends me several emails a month about buying my car back but you can t tell me that your ways of operating has changed??? I will be finding somewhere else to get my oil changed. The bad part is that I am in the market to buy a new Honda and planned on viewing their inventory while my car was being serviced. I will definitely be going somewhere else for that too.Service: Oil change

Set an appointment 2 days prior because I need to leave town the following day. All is set. When I get there, they don t have the part and never ordered it for my service in the first place. Very disappointed because now it throws my whole schedule off and I can t leave the day I originally planned.

Service was good my first time going there i got an diagnostic done to my wife car and it was a lil pricey but it tell you very thing that's wrong with your car Gary was a be help so if you go ask for him

The Service Staff are very cordial to you. They are also very knowledgeable about their Honda cars when comes to fixing them. What I did not like was their upsell tactics for additional services. I also did not like the fact that I wanted an oil change, tire rotation and balance and a 4 tire alignment. There was additional services that my car would need but those services could be delayed for another time. I did however opt to have my rear differential worked on. I got there at 9AM and left just after 1PM. The must disturbing issue to come out of my maintenance journey was my front Right driver door handle was damaged by someone there. I know when I arrived there I got out of my vehicle and could open the door. When the porter moved my car he could open close the door. When I received my car back after the requested service we could not open the door. I was livid and expressed my feelings about the situation as I could not open my vehicle's door. I paid them $519 on Monday and an additional $203 today. To their credit I was offered some discounts around some of the services to my vehicle. After this encounter with Honda South I must in good conscience look for another place to provide services for my Honda cars. I currently have two Honda Pilots and one Civic. All those vehicles have been serviced at that location and now I have no desire to return. I know my door handle worked properly when I turned my car over to you and was made to feel that I was deceptive when I stayed there was nothing wrong with vehicle door when I got there.They never addressed the Fuel Cap Check warning statement flashing. SMH and I now have nasty taste in my mouth concerning my service experience at your location.

Service department is substandard... has terrible horrible customer service... Jerry Evans is to be avoided at all costs... he is irresponsible and disrespectful... my car was brought to be repaired and it turned into a month wait... no communication at all.. I had to argue with them about everything... and whenever I got my car back it was damaged... horrible horrible service department... I'll never take my car there again

Honda South has been my go to place for service, but the service has progressively gotten worse. The wait time and lack of detail is at an all time low. I scheduled an oil change appointment, and still waited over 2 hours. My car was inspected, and as I was about to leave I noticed a nail in my tire. Why wasn't this caught by the mechanics? When I brought this concern up to my representative, he became defensive and said that the mechanics are his eyes and ears. He basically took zero accountability. How can they have my car for over 2 hours and not notice a nail after inspecting my tires? This is careless.Honda South please work on decreasing your wait times for simple services and paying attention to details, especially details that could result in terrible accidents for your customers.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change
