Aside from the expected service provided the customer service by Albert left much to be desired. I called ahead and he ( since I saw he was the only one working the desk) told me I didn t need an appointment. I arrive he acknowledges my presence and proceeds to inquire if I made an appointment.Then it takes about 25 minutes to be provided with service. I m the only one there or so it appears. Yup while he stayed on the computer, printing and who knows what he walks to what I learned later the waiting area and returns with a customer. He finishes up with him - about another 10 mini then asks me how he may help me.Everything from there is status quo. I spent over $200 for an oil change and new windshield wipers which I did ask for on my own.I m big on customer device primarily because I work hard for my money like most of us do and have options of where I spend it. This was my first and last trip to Pep Boys.

I purchased 4 tires in late November. I had previously purchased tires that were very good and requested the same ones. When I picked the vehicle up, it had different tires and I was told the others were not available. I reluctantly accepted the tires. I ve been back twice for balance problems. The last time I was told they got most of the issues handled. I will never go back to Pep Boys again.

Pep Boys alignment. Was advised toe needed adjusting and that caster would not be adjustable on the car. Camber was also out of range. After aligning camber still out of range. I asked why and THEN was told needed a camber bolt kit to adjust. If I had been told before aligning, I would have obtained one and then had aligned. Now I will have to pay for ANOTHER alignment after obtaining a camber bolt kit. Complete wase of money.

I can not say enough good things about the guys that work here! They have helped us with multiple car issues from tires to alternators and engines. They are all very knowledgeable and willing to help. From the first phone call to repair they are willing to explain everything and fix the issue. Will not take our cars anywhere else!

Honest auto repair shop. Really they are too busy. Trying To find a repair on your car that doesn t need to be done. I have used them three times in the past year A+ every visit. Love the dropbox it s convenient to be able to drop your car off while they re closed.

Called for an appointment and had the right time I asked for. Workers were friendly. I stayed in the waiting room, the wait was long but only because I didn t go back home and was bored. Oil changes are getting expensive, that s my reason for 4 stars. I gave them a 30% off coupon and the guy working had a 25% coupon scanned already without me having to ask, so I thought that was nice of him. No issues with the place, besides anywhere you go, oil changes aren t $30 anymore. More like $80 even with a 30% off coupon.

Problem was solved but requested service was not completed. Asked for tire rotation but was not performed. Talked to the service manager and they will resolve the issue at a later date.Review update: Manager made everything right, tires were rotated and rotors were turned at no cost due to the issues earlier in the week. Very professional and appreciate the staff s effort to resolve the problem earlier in the week!

This was a much improved experience than I have had in the past.I am greatly looking forward to seeing what the new management team with Steve and Scott will do. Monroe is a great community and we appreciate a good business that respects and cares for their customers.I had a tire that needed to be replaced. Scott had great communication and keeping me informed. It was an overall great experience.I will give the Pep Boys guys in Monroe another chance.

Pep Boys in Monroe Ga is the best and only one I will visit from now on. Steven (store manager) and Scott are and were great. They got me in and out in a timely manner. They also took care of a situation that happened at another Pep Boys and that made my experience over the top excellent! I will definantly be back to this location ONLY!!! Thank you again Steven and Scott

I purchased lifetime alignment and I have to drive from town to town to find a store that can accurately perform a wheel alignment, I've been at too locations and alignment only gets worse. When I asked for a refund I was denied, vehicle drifts left & steering wheel off center to the right. I'll be going to a 3rd shop this morning. I originally purchased the lifetime alignment 2 yrs ago with tires it's been fine, now I got new tires so I had the alignment done to assure tire life and it's a problem???!!!

To start off i own a performance buisness. I bought some new take off tires to put on my gto and they said they cannot put on "used" tires. So if you are a certified shop you could look at the tires and respect another shop for their recommendation. But u did not. In my opinion your buisness is junk. Had cash money ready to pay and plenty more buisness. Really dumb move pep boys

We take all our vehicles to PEP boys Monroe GA for the past 6 years. Service has always been excellent and the pricing spot on.

Went for a tire rotation. Came back to this. Then my truck wouldn't crank. I was told they had checked the battery and it was good and they told me I needed over $1800 worth of work. Went across the street got my battery checked and it showed 203 instead of 750.

Took our car in for a suspected serious A/C problem. Service was rendered promptly-was diagnosed as a simple coolant drain and recharge. Very satisfied.

I had two tires delivered for install this passed Saturday, Sept 2, 2023.for my dually. My appt was at noon. But on a Saturday. I knew there was no way I'd get in by noon. They got me in by 1pm. Now know, I was here about a year ago. Had two new tires installed then also but....this is my 3rd place cause the other 2 places weren't able to release the lug nuts on passenger side tires. Let me tell you. I should have written a review then but I wasn't into writing reviews. But know I am back because the 2 guys that were on my truck then. Worked their tail off to get the lugnits off. Yes, they were seized on. They ended up making it their personal challenge. Lol.So here we are a year later. I needed some rotating done also. So it wasn't just take old tires off and put new tires on. I never am that simple. Lol.The technician they put on my truck was awesome. I am going to say he is the 2nd best I've ever had to work on my truck tires. The 1st best is in Columbia SC. Not affiliated with pep boys.Anyways, Devin had 2 stubborn tires to balance. He knows his stuff. Took two turns on both and he got it to lesser weights then previous. Good job dude!!I will not take my truck any where else. If they sold Firestone and not just Michelin.Highly recommend those guys.

The managers and repair specialists at the Monroe Pep Boys are very accommodating and helpful. They take the time to keep customers updated on their repairs and they often offer help finding coupons and special discounts on needed repairs.

Got a quick tire rotation done. Though a simple service, I appreciated the smaller things that not all shops take the extra time to do. The tech was careful with the impact wrench so as not to scratch the wheel paint, he torqued each bolt to spec manually after lowering the car, and he washed his hands before getting back in to reverse out of the bay. I notice these thoughtful things and they re appreciated.

Extremely nice and helpful folks at the service desk. Super fast service for a walkin buy of 4 tires and an alignment. My first time using PepBoys (Monroe, Ga). Very happy with my Cooper tires.

My wife and I have always taken our cars to Pep Boys. I have given them thousands of dollars throughout the years. Everytime they did work we would eventually have to take our cars back for the same issue, especially the 2006 Charger. We had another motor put in around March of 2022, in which we feel like we were over charged for by Mark who was the manager at the time. We have had our AC repaired 2 different times by them because of bad technicians that apparently didn't know what they were doing. And now our AC need to be replaced again because it has stopped working and now they want us to believe that it's not on them. Do not, and I repeat, do not take your vehicle to Pep Boys in Monroe Ga. They will never get any of our business ever again. Take your vehicles to Car Tech, ask for Jordan, at least car tech will act like they care!Now, I guess I'll take my concerns to Facebook next!

I came into the store with forty minutes before they closed. They already had two customers ahead of me. Alex and Jayson still worked me in to patch my tire event though they left late because of it. They were very friendly and helpful.

I showed up without an appointment for an air check on a low tire. They made room for me. They had to replace the tire because there was a screw in the sidewall. They had my work completed and I was on my way in under 45 minutes. Their service is not typical of today's indifference toward customers. I will definitely be back!

I was in a urgent need for tires. An I went up there & Jason and Tim took real good care of me. If your ever in a jam I definitely recommend going to Pep boys

They are a big rip off. I went for my brakes to be serviced. They only did the rear brakes for 430, but made it seem as if they serviced the front as well. I had to come back and spend another 460 for my front brakes. Why would they only work on the rear brakes when I asked for all of them to be repaired? NEVER again. Would not recommend.
