We came from Lawrenceville GA to Florida for a vacation since our youngest daughter is turning 6 years old and we are taking her to Disney, our van didn't turn on anymore, we stayed on the edge of the hwy in Meter GA, we called several companies tow truck and no one wanted to help us, thank God we made another call and Slayde answered, and he came to our rescue, and his wife Marsha came with him, Slayde took our car in his tow truck andmy husband left with him, and Marsha took me and my 4 children with her, she left us in saxbys to buy food and then she came back for us Slayde and his friend bought the alternator for our car,,, they changed it immediately, meanwhile Marsha invited us to their house and the children had fun playing with their dogs, they were so kind to us, they are undoubtedly angels on this earth... we will never forget what they did for us, we will always be grateful to them. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere and Slade from Automite came to the rescue! I took a vacation and tried to save money by driving an electric car as opposed to a gas operated vehicle. Well, that turned into a nightmare because there were not enough electric car charging stations on the way to Savannah and the car stalled out in Metter Georgia, one mile from the nearest charging station! With that said the police called Slade from Automite and he towed the car to that station and even waited with me and my family while the car was charging. He and Marsha were professional and kind throughout a very stressful situation. He handled the car with care and precision. It was a blessing that he came because no one else was coming and my insurance company failed to even put in the request. Automite has restored my belief in southern hospitality. Although I hope I'm never in that situation again, if I am I would definitely call on Automite Towing!!
