When you hand off your vehicle to a stranger at an unknown business ... you never know what to expect. Cost, reliability, honesty, integrity, experience and expertise in the area of concern... all of the things that run through one's mind were put at ease with my visit to Speedy Transmission by CS.It's never a fun time when you have car trouble however such is life. A failed transmission and a referral from a trusted service advisor at my Toyota dealership brought me here. The diagnosis was the same - replace shot transmission.Samantha handled my intake. She was very friendly, personable and empathetic. Scott came in to introduce himself. He shared his thoughts and assured me he would look into options for repairs. There was effective communication throughout the process about estimates, delivery of parts and timeline. And they delivered on all phases. Vehicle was in and out within a week.So if you or a friend experience transmission issues - what I refer to as a vehicle nighmare. Please give them a call. They are thorough and trustworthy.

These people told me they needed 24hours to diagnose the transmission of my mazda 3 which i did a night drop-off so they would have enough time to look at it. Filled out their paperwork and dropped my keys with an emission result to help them with their diagnosis. Woke up the following day, but didnt receive a single call or text from them until 3pm when i had to call and lady in the front desk told me they haven't looked at my car yet of which i told her if they can not on that day she should let me know by the time they close so i could pick it up since i had to be at work in the morning the next day. She still didn't say leave a text or call to let me know what they did on my car. So i picked it up after they closed because i was tired of their lack of communication and had to be at work. Only to drive back from work the following day to discover that my car had completely ran out of engine oil almost spoiling my engine and undrivable. Bet you i was never even given a diagnosis report. Called them and the lady was extremely rude to me on the phone she told me they don't give out diagnosis reports to customers something I am sure just SPEEDYMARIETTATRANSMISSION does. So to whoever is reading this is my honest experience with these people. Taking your work here is at your own risk. I can't take the LACK OF COMMUNICATION not to talk of being RUDE to customers which you suppose to serve.Service: Vehicle Inspection

When I say they are amazing, believe me. I took our car to another place for repair because our traction light kept coming on and they wanted to change us over $1500. I'm not going to say how much we paid, but it was under $1500. I'm so grateful for these people. Y'all are truly a blessing. I will be coming to you guys for now on. Blessings to you all.

Waited over a month to write this just to make sure it's working like it should - AND IT DOES! Had to fix my work van transmission, asked around. Friend of mine referred me to them and I'm glad I used their services. They rebuild my junk transmission, works great (so far).Definitely will recommend them. I don't understand reviews that states they are rude - not my experience... They were super nice, informed me ahead about the cost and timing, did what should be done professionally and within the time frame. I'm one "happy camper"

What a gem we have here in Marietta. Kristina and the crew at Speedy are most professional and honest. My 91 VW Jetta is having shifting issues and after seeing such good reviews I decided to give this place a try. Boy I am glad I did. I had already taken this to another shop who gave me an outrageous price to fix without even looking at the car.Speedy took time to diagnose my vehicle and determined it is in need of bushings. They felt another local mechanic was better suited to do this work and pointed me in his direction. Even though they had my VW for two days and used their lift to thoroughly diagnose, they charged me nothing. Businesses like this should be commended and should go far. I will definitely be back when issue warrants and I will shout their name from the rooftops.Service: Transmission

My experience at Speedy deserves more than 5 stars. It s always frustrating going through any car repair process, but Kristina and her team made it feel like a breeze. Between their quick turnaround time and continuous communication, I cannot say enough good things. She was able to explain everything they were doing and didn t charge me for anything extra or shady like a lot of repair shops today tend to do. Thank you Speedy Marietta.Service: Transmission

Overall it has been a positive experience, I expressed my concern with Ms. Christina and the lack of communication, but since then she has made sure that I have felt heard and any updates with my vehicles repairs are being communicated.I can tell she is truly passionate about her business and customers so I thank her for that because that can be rare now a days, especially in auto repair .Service: Transmission repair

Just bought my 2020 Subaru around December and was not able to get a good inspection on it until I brought it here. This business was quick and professional and I was able to get my vehicle back for use in no time. They told me any details I needed to know and even things I should look out for in the future. In today's society having an expensive repair done can be a gamble because most people put on a good front until you've spent your money then do questionable work, Which is why most people rely on a good review when making a decision where to take their vehicle. I chose speedy Marietta based on their customer feedback and was not disappointed. They did a great job rebuilding my transmission it drives and shifts in a way you know a professional with experience did the job. The pricing was fair and the work was done in a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of repairs .Service: Transmission

I took my 2008 Saturn to these guys last week based on the google reviews. I'm so glad I did! They did such a great job! Kristina was incredibly helpful and very quick to keep me informed of the progress. It only took them 2 days to fix my car (transmission issues) and it's running better than ever! Very reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with!

Kristina was absolutely awesome. The staff worked diligently to work on my transmission and when realized it was something else causing the decrease in my acceleration, Kristina gave me a great referral. I took my car to the referral and my car was fixed in less than an hour. Not only do I trust their honesty and professionalism to bring my car here for my transmission, I love that I can call or walk in and get great referrals for other car issues.

The best place to get your transmission taking care of, Kristina is the best at making sure you receive quality customer service. She handle everything from informing me of what was being done, to how long it would take. She even contacted the warranty company, so as I didn't have to do anything but pay my deductible. The time she told me my car would be ready, was right on schedule. Excellent service!!!!!

About a year ago when purchasing a vehicle I asked them to take a look at my transmission, it felt like it was shifting irregularly at high speeds so I wanted to see if that was the reason. The owner came out and looked at it and quickly found out it was just a cylinder misfire. Didn't charge me for anything. I did not need any work after all but was able to refer my parents to them who did need a transmission replaced, they were extremely pleased with how well they were taken care of. Fast forward a few months, I noticed oil leaking in my driveway and had taken it to my mechanic to look at. Turns out is was the rear main seal which required removal of the transmission. My usual mechanic offered to fix it and game me a fair price but was told it would take about 3 days due to scheduling. Not only was speedy transmission less costly, they were also able to get me in the following day and I was able to pick it up that afternoon. As bad an experience that needing transmission work is, they certainly made it a positive one.I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing transmission work.

The driveshaft and gas line on my husband's truck had a very unfortunate incident on the expressway two Saturday mornings ago. We were towed to Speedy. Since they aren't open on Saturdays, we talked with them Monday morning.The truck is a long bed which makes it extremely difficult to find the correct replacement. They tried many times, each time receiving a part they could not use. We were always kept in the loop on the status and never felt like they were ignoring us. After so many attempts, the team came up with a different solution and were able to get the repairs done.Repairs are great! The truck runs well and my husband is very happy with the job done. If you want a place that treats you well, works very hard to make things right, communicates with you on every step AND gives very fair pricing - this is the place! I only wish I could give them more stars! Thanks!

Speedy Transmission is an excellent transmission repair shop. The people there are great to work with. The main gal at the deck is extremely knowledgeable as well as professional and a nice person. She is either the owner or employee but if she's an employee she needs a raise. I am especially appreciative of this shop as they came highly recommended by a friend of mine and the only transmission shop in the area that I know who were willing and able to work on my vehicle. Evidently my vehicle (a 2012 GMC Penske box truck) has a transmission that is more difficult to work on than normal and other shops in the area had declined to even give me a quote as either their bays weren't big enough or the transmission itself was too difficult. I found this shop on the ATRA website, and after reading other reviews I decided to use them. My 1994 Explorer is in excellent shape but the transmission was slipping and hunting gears. I'm a decent shadetree mechanic but I don't mess with automatic transmissions. After speaking with Kristina, the owner, and Chris, their master builder, I knew I was in the right place. Melvin completed the rebuild on my transmission, and now it drives like a new one! The price was reasonable and a good bit less than average quotes I had seen. I have full faith in Kristina and her team should I ever need transmission work in the future.

They were unable to help me at the price point I wanted (because my car is older and it would cost more than it's worth) but they didn't even charge me a diagnostic fee to look at my transmission and see if it was something simple. Super friendly and helpful. A less reputable place would have behaved much differently!

Today I took my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to Speedy Marietta knowing that it needed a torque converter. Kristina welcomed me in and had a technician, Chris, talk to me and check out my Jeep. I was surprised he knew so much about that particular model and its transmission. He explained the function of the torque converter and the problems associated with this particular type. I rode with him as he drove my Jeep and monitored the computer, explaining the readings to me. He was with me about 45 minutes and there was no charge for the diagnosis. Chris assured me that the new torque converter is an improved, heavier duty model. I'm confident that Kristina and her crew will do a good job for me, so I'm taking the Jeep in tomorrow. I'll update my review in the near future.

Go here. Period.As someone who's been lied to and taken advantage of by mechanics and dealerships everywhere, and spent a small fortune trying to maintain or inevitably having to buy replacement vehicles, I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it feels to have found a trustworthy mechanic.I shopped around for quotes before coming here. Most mechanics didn't even look under the hood before telling me that I would likely need an entirely new transmission because my "check engine light" was showing codes for a few transmission-related issues that would involve taking everything apart to replace a few small parts, which is a lot of labor, and so I'd be better off replacing the transmission.I came here, they took 45 minutes to look under the hood (for free) and discovered that my wires had been exposed and were rubbing up against my engine, causing the transmission-related symptoms I was experiencing (insanely bipolar gear-shifting, I mean just all over the place. I looked like a 15 year-old learning to drive stick-shift for the first time and failing miserably).They fixed my wires, and now my car drives like a dream. Absolutely amazing. And for more than $1,300 less than what I was quoted by the other shops.Just going to mention this for the women out there who aren't super mechanically-inclined: every time I've been screwed over, it's been because men have taken advantage of my little knowledge of car mechanics. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I believe this shop is woman-owned or at least woman-run, a woman fixed my car, and I could not be happier with their level of honesty and integrity. So, if you struggle with trusting mechanics because you, too, have been exploited a time or two, definitely go here! #girlpower

I was told by another garage that I needed a new transmission and it was going to be $3500, I went to Speedy to get a price and their professional team looked after me well. They diagnosed that it wasn't a Transmission problem at all and referred me to someone that could help with the issue that I had. So nice to deal with a company of integrity, thank you!

I had some issues with my transmission on my classic Chevy truck. Kristina and Chris were great to work with, fixed my problem, and kept me informed about a parts delay. It's nice to have a shop that stays in contact with you and provides timely updates.

I used Speedy Transmission twice for my Trailblazer SS and the service was beyond my expectation. This most recent visit, i dropped it off for some transmission diagnostic on a shift issue. While the vehicle was under they're care, they always called me before they closed to keep me updated on the status of the repair. They were not able to fix the issue, but gave me advice to where i could possibly have the issue solved. If i ever need any transmission work done that i cannot handle. Speedy will always be my first choice.

Amazing place to have transmission repairs done! I had to have the manual transmission on my 2009 Corolla done and not only was the work completed on time but precisely on the spot for the price quoted. I refer all of my friends and family to here if they need transmission repairs. I would not go anywhere else!

I gladly give 5 stars for Speedy Transmission of Marietta. They rebuilt the transmission on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5 years ago and I've put 80k miles on it since with zero issues. I just had to have the transmission rebuilt on a 2000 Lexus GS300 and I definitely took it to Speedy Transmission. Had it back for a couple weeks now and it drives like brand new again. The prices were fair both times and the work was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend then for any transmission issue!

What a great experience! I recently took my 04 Trailblazer to Speedy Transmission and i can't say thank you enough to Kristina Magic and Chris. It's so hard nowadays to find good, professional and HONEST people. They are extremely knowledgeable and the price is so reasonable (don't get me wrong, it hurt to pay $2k but it would've been a lot more somewhere else) for the quality of work they do. They were in constant communication with me during the repair; they have this text message system that informs you what stage of the repair your car is in - kudos for that. They stayed within the price range they told me before they took the transmission down even thought unexpected additional repairs were needed. I love the fact that they invest in training for their team, as a matter of fact Chris was about to go to Vegas for some additional training. All in all, i wold recommend Speedy Transmission 100%.

I am very pleased with the service (new transmission replacement) and how quickly the job was completed. Dropped off on a Monday, diagnosed that afternoon, and picked up with a new transmission on Friday.
