I have been a customer of Scott DeLong 's for 30 years, as long as I have lived in Marietta, GA. They are flawless in their customer service: attentive, responsive,expertly qualified, and fair in their pricing. Once you meet and become their customer, there is no need or reason to ever search for another service company. In the vehicle service industry, they are simply state-of-the-art.

Took my Explorer to them after a previous shop could not fix the loud bee type noise coming from the inside cabin after 2 attempts. They found and fixed my issue quickly(wiper cowling). Great service, friendly, fair price, and they have won my business!

Scott and his mechanics took my car right in l, found the problem and fixed it within 2 hours. Great people, professional. Felt like the good ole days when great service and friendliness existed. I highly recommend.

I m so happy to have found this place! Kylie was my point of contact throughout my experience and she was consistently pleasant and kind to work with. That s worth more than gold these days. Very nice staff!I came in for regular maintenance, it was first come first serve. I was the first one in and I was out with my oil changed in less than 30 minutes.I also asked for my tires rotated and anything else that needed to be done and was told that everything else looked great and that the tires didn t need to be rotated now. They even told me a couple things to check for next time I get my maintenance so I could expect it.The service was impeccable, everyone is so nice, it was quick, the waiting room was comfortable and had wifi, and they are honest.Thank you!

Fabulous service! We were scheduled to leave on a 2700 mile cross country summer trip on Sunday morning, and on Friday night the AC suddenly stopped blowing cold air. We got on the web and searched and searched for a shop that would be open on Saturday before finally finding DeLongs. We called them first thing Saturday morning, they squeezed us in, diagnosed the problem, and told us that they could order the part and would have it by Tuesday. We further explained our time sensitivity, the mechanic said no problem and sent his own employee across town to pick up the part. The car was ready by 1:00 Saturday afternoon and their charges were very reasonable. They did an amazing job for us and saved us from disaster. We are now a thousand miles into our trip, cool in the near 90� temperatures, and definitely looking forward to using them again in the future for our car repair needs.

With 5 vehicles an average age of 25, we are "frequent fliers" at Delong's. Was able to schedule a pre-purchase inspection the same day. Waited for me and quickly checked out the vehicle and provide a report.The report helped me get the seller to fix 3 of the 4 things SDAS identified. One was minor cosmetic and I was fine with the purchaser not replacing that part.

I called a few weeks earlier for a quote to replace brakes and rotors for my daughter's MDX. I dropped the car off and noted what I thought was the quote and asked them to confirm. They called and quoted me around $400 less for their best brakes (Akebono). They could have easily just confirmed the higher quote I misremembered and overcharged me. But they didn't. This is is consistent with the vast majority of reviews that this is a honest shop with fair prices. Oh, they also got the work done very quickly. I will use them for all my future maintenance and repairs.

Fair prices, quality work, honest business. I've never taken my car to a better, more trustworthy mechanic.Edit: Just had another great experience with Scott. Air conditioning issue and he took me in just before closing and got it all working again!

The best and nicest mechanics in East Cobb. Super patient with doing work on a pre-owned car that has been having issues popping up since purchase. Good luck finding anyone that's as good as Scott Delong's.

Honest and hard working shop. This shop came referred to us when we moved to east cobb. As I was waiting on my vehicle to be fixed, multiple people came in and said they were referred and even one person who said she's been bringing her vehicles here for 15 years. Scott and his team consistently provide excellent service and fair prices. One time, I thought my transmission was blown and would need to be replaced, but they let me know that it was really just low on fluid! That transaction alone probably saved me $1500. I strongly recommend Scott to all of my friends in the area (I drive about 20 minutes to use this mechanic).

I was very impressed how I was treated for my recent issue with my car. The front desk women was very pleasant and I was able to get my car back the same day. I was never up sold on anything and felt like I didn t over pay for the service....which is rare now a days. I will definitely be back for any future issues.

Every experience I have with Scott and his team are great. After hearing about them through a friend I decided to take my car here (Volkswagen). They know what they are doing and are consistently cheaper than going to the dealer. They've proved my loyalty to them many times. I've gotten oil changes to engine work done.From their motto, the word "honesty", is something that I've experienced here with them. I recently had a clutch problem and they carefully diagnosed the problem in order to minimize what parts of the engine they had to open up and replace. While a more expensive type of problem in any shop, due to their processes, it was cheaper for me (less time).They could've said that they needed to replace everything but they didn't. This usually happens when a shop isn't experienced (or doesn't take the time) and hopefully solves the problem by putting a slew of new parts in. I've seen dealers take this course of action before including VW and Honda. You get that unsettled "they got me" feeling.As for my experience, I recommend Scott Delong's Auto Service. If you see any questionable reviews, ask them about it. Be upfront with them, ask them what the cost will be, quote the dealer, then decide where to go. Dealer vs. Scott, I will take my car to Scott from now on.

Received exceptional service, and at a lower cost than a quote I received from a competitor. The diagnosis and solution were clearly explained to me with no fluff or add-ons. Ryan and the entire team went above and beyond expectations, made sure the work was done correctly, and made sure I was satisfied. High marks!

I brought a car to Scott DeLong's for a pre-purchase evaluation and they did a thorough job looking at the car. They found minor problems but I was able to negotiate the repairs into the cost of purchasing the car. They did a great job!

I was lucky enough to have the owner Scott Delong there when I went in to have my car looked at. They immediately upon entry put my car up in the air and began looking for problems. Scott was there with his flashlight and so is another technician. They couldn't find the problem me immediately so they began going through a Sim series of test finding out where the transmission fluid was leaking from. They found it they fixed it and did it for a great price. I highly recommend going to Scott delong's Auto Service. Plus I hear he plays a mean guitar!

Rude and terrible customer service. I called to ask if they could replace my exhaust with a new one and the first thing he tells me is that they don't do aftermarket replacement. Really!? Because of liability purposes? Isn't that with every service you do? Then he proceeds to tell me that they have plenty of customers and plenty of business. I don't even know why he brought that up.. I think I called you when you were in a bad mood. A little advice for Scott, Learn to control your anger and don't put it on your other customers; It's childish.

Give them a call if you are in need of any car service. They will evaluate your car and recommend only what is truly needed. Get them to give you a second opinion before following a dealer's service recommendations. You will be happy you did.

I went there today and I cannot wait to do this review. They are special! When they ask you or tell you something they did it with a smile. They explained everything clearly and also everything was written. I really recommend this place. They know what they do and they are good people too. God bless them all!

The absolute BEST experience per time we bring our cars (the last 7-8 years) the service is excellent! Everything is straight forward from the team to the prices! Our cars run and last longer & the employees intelligently answer ALL of my questions...i ask a lot...Being a young woman who has been through the most with mechanics (charging me extra & talking to me like Im incompetent of cars), DeLongg s is the MOST respectful towards me & my mom! Each employee converses with each person with equal dignity & respect! I always refer them to anyone who ask me!I love that i can SECURELY lock & leave my car over night to be serviced first thing in the morning! They offer a ride if you re close by while your car is being serviced, the lobby area & bathroom are clean, comfortable & diligently organized & the icing on the cake is how attentive to details they are AAAANNNDDDDDD their service time is impressive! The longest I sat in the lobby was maybe all of 20 mins for my oil change (because there was a client being serviced before me)! They even offer coffee, tea, hot cocoa, & water! Cutest thing is my son looking at the fishes in their fish tank! I love this shop! If in east cobb, go here!
