A super auto repair family run shop I've been to 3 times now. Alternator that was missed by another shop after buying their unneeded $250 battery and this time for another battery replacement.Desmond and his nephew were great, no nonsense, fast, diagnosed well, didn't try typical B.S. upcharges like Mavis and chain stores, plus were reasonable in prices of parts and labor. Very honest and checked some front end suspension issues for no charge. Way less than local Marietta Mercedes dealer or so called luxury European shops. Labor very fair at $80 an hour. Five Stars ***** all three visits. Check them out and you can quote me. Many great prior reviews. The low ones were from whiny trolls who weren't up front with Desmond on first meetings. I have done business here three times now for my Maserati. 1st for brake pads replacement, 2nd for oil change and 3rd for exhaust resonator delete. All three jobs were completed very timely and were very competitively priced. Desmond the owner was very kind and helpful. I will continue to do business here and highly recommend contrary to other negative reviews left over years ago. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!!! The worst place ever. They do not fix the problem and they try to charge you extra fees. They had our car for two weeks. Got it back yesterday and it's still having the same issue. Complete waste of money and time.

The service was impeccable compared to the outrageous fees Wade Ford wanted to charge for the same service. Mr. Desmond restored my vehicle back to brand new. I am grateful. I recommend Payless 100%.

Absolutely a rip off doesn't fix the problem. Charges you an arm and a leg says the vehicle is fixed. Just for you to drive off and breakdown 5min down the block and tells you something else is wrong even though is the same problem. Also my car had a large dent bigger than my hand. Trust me if you like your car this would be the last place you take it.

We have been going to Desmond's garage for several years to have our Saab serviced. Never had a problem. Desmond is polite, straight forward and thorough. I trust his judgement and have never been disappointed.

If I could give them 100000 stars I would. Mr Desmond and his staff is so PROFESSIONAL. Their prices are very AFFORDABLE. They dont get your vehicle and let it sit they get straight to it. They dont have any hidden repair charges nor do they quote you for parts and repairs then you get there it's a different price. I have been going here 6 years and the they have never let me down. Try PAYLESS Repair you wont be DISAPPOINTED !!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!!If you care about your MONEY and CAR, then don't let this shop work on your car. He took my $1300 and instead of fixing my issues properly he patched them up and tried to say it was something else wrong with my car that wasn't cover under his warranty, so he tried to charge me more money. THE 1 YEAR WARRANTY HE PROVIDED WAS USELESS. He wouldn't even honor his own warranty. I might as well took my $1300 and threw it in the trash. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSE WHERE.

One of the best and reliable mechanics in Marietta and I have been going to him for the past 20 yrs. Even Before he was at the current shop location on Austell he was on Powder springs road by Sandtown rd where the now brand new QT is built. So you can understand that he has been a permanent marker of reliable auto mechanics in Marietta/ Austell area for years. His labor prices are very reasonable. He does full computer in depth diagnostics for avg $60. Very comprehensive too. Even if I use a shade tree mechanic ,he still finds things they miss. The owner is named Desmond, and he is still MORE reliable than folks who don't constantly work on cars. Cheap isnt always better. And I found out he also raises money, fundraising with one of his charities for scholarships for the Jamaician association for college students so supporting his business is a good thing. Try him out.

Worse place there is if you want someone working on your car with attitude and a liar then go here.. They don't greet you at all they just let u stand there and wait .. I brought my car here in sept. 2016 I paid $90 for my services then here it is feb 2017 my car has the same problem but now they want to charge me $120 for something that should have been fixed the correct way when I brought my car to them back in sept. 2016I mean are you serious taking advantage of a female is so sad .. I will never return here again..

DO NOT COME HERE!! My mom took her car here to get her clutch replaced. They took her car for a test drive afterwards and didn t return for nearly two hours. These jerks ended up taking advantage of a nice person and used her car for personal errands!

Absolutely rude. I took a part to them to put on and the check engine light is on again. I told the young dude that I need him to check the car because it is still giving a code. This sad black business owner had the nerve to tell me, Ok you bought the part. Ummmm I KNOW I BOUGHT THE PART you told me I needed to because y all don t have it. They are absolutely rude and it s sad because I always take my car to their shop but I have found a Hispanic shop that knows how to treat their customers. I will be returning tomorrow because he will get this check engine light off. After the amount of money I ve had to spend to get my car in shape for an emissions, I m not interested in having a black man have a nasty attitude because he doesn t want to do his job. It is sad we can t support our own because of ugliness towards people.

Complete rip off prices are very high and when you take into account the tell you car is fixed just to breakdown in front of the place... they keep the money you already gave for repair just to tell you THEY MESSED UP and have to fix something else but "now i figured it out".. and when I asked how come I'm being charged for the same problem he tell me because he bought parts I told him he can have his parts back because they did nothing to solve the problem he messed up my car so bad i had to just replace the whole thing and go thru my bank to get a portion of my money back I never received the cash portions I gave ... COMPLETE SCAM JUST LOOK AT THE PLACE THAT SHOULD OF TOLD ME I WAS AT THE WRONG PLACE... REPAIR HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.. IF YOUR VEHICLE MANAGES TO ACTUALLY REALLY GET FIXED IT WILL COST SAME AS the DEALER.... THIS PLACE IS NOT QUALIFIED TO WORK ON ANYTHING MORE COMPLICTED than a 92 HONDA CIVIC NO NOT EVEN 93!! THANKS PAYLESS FOR DISTROYING MY VEHICLE AND TAKING MY MONEY..

The owner is very arrogant and rude to customers, and he does not live up to the business name of "Payless Auto Repairs" because he charges nearly twice what places like Pep Boys charge to do the same work. STAY AWAY from this place!!!
